August 1st, 23 CLE
She'd seen them to their cells. Graves and Vi were safe behind twelve inch reinforced concrete walls, with good steel doors and steel toilets. The transfer was complete, and Caitlyn spoke with the warden directly after she left them. He was getting more permanent cells ready for them, they'd stay in the holding area tonight, and Caitlyn would be given a room in the guards barracks for the night as well. She nodded, simply too stressed to make any recommendations. She needed to review the evidence laid against Vi, and was waiting on the eye witness testimonies to be sent to her. Not wasting any time, she went straight to the room she was given, and tried to give her full attention to what files she had with her.
After a few frustrated minutes Caitlyn left her room and her rifle in search of the guards mess room, hoping they had a palatable tea on hand that just might help her think more clearly.

Vi woke up not too long from being locked in her cell, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she tried to force herself to get up. "Ugh...feels like a hangover...oi, don't use those darts again! Not like I'm trying to escape here." She rolled her eyes and waited for the usual sarcastic demand from the guard, but received nothing. Figures. She was stuck there alone, waiting. Caitlyn had better let her out soon...she had better things to do, could've helped more by staying in Zaun at this rate.
Graves had awoken not long after the transit had completed, albeit extremely groggy. The last time he'd woken to such a feeling was when he had naively participated in that drinking contest against Gangplank and some other locals last time he had been in Bilgewater with the spiked booze. As soon as he could manage he started shaking the bars of his cell, prodding them for any structural weakness, hoping for some luck on his side for once. Unfortunately for the Outlaw the bars integrity was high and everything here seemed well kept. There would be no easy escape in this new prison either much to his chagrin. He then saw someone in the cell across from his stir. It was Vi.
"Ugh...feels like a hangover...oi, don't use those darts again! Not like I'm trying to escape here."
'Speak fer' yourself...' he thought numbly to himself as he plopped himself down onto the floor of his cell in defeat. He was back at square one again like when he was new in the other prison and there was nothing he could do about it.

Bleak grey walls and sickly artificial light was exactly what Caitlyn expected, but the black and white checkered floor and old wooden furniture of the officers break room was a welcome surprise. She set the sturdy steel kettle to heat and simply waited. It was quiet and warm, the white curtains softening the contrast of black iron barred windows. Looking out the Sheriff aimed an invisible pistol at the pigeons flying around on the rooftop of a nearby building. For a minute she forgot about what worried her, and breathed easy.
The holding cells were fairly quiet. Besides a couple of bruised ink covered inmates, they were alone in the cell block. The echoes of clanging metal and shouting prisoners slipped through the heavy block gate whenever the guards changed shifts, but only that and the gentle whir of the ventilation system disturbed the silence. One of the guards stared at graves with an unamused expression.

It took him a moment but as Graves looked up from where he sat he noticed the guard staring at him. He tried to ignore it and stood up pacing a bit before he leaned against a wall of his cell, but the guard just kept on staring and it was getting on the Outlaw's nerves. He knew what it was about, the condescending look from the guard said it all. That he looked down on the very prisoners he was in charge of, Graves in particular. He probably saw them as less than human and this train of thought began to make Graves' blood boil. Who was this guard to put himself on a pedestal and judge him and the rest of the prisoners? He was nobody special and Graves had all the motivation he needed to put the guard in his place if the opportunity arose.
"The hell are you lookin' at!?" Graves hollered at the guard, kicking at the bars of his cell. If not for the bars between himself and the guard he'd have knocked him into next week already.

Vi heard Graves making a racket across the way and groaned. She'd been having a very exciting game of 'stare at the crack in the wall' and he just ruined it. She stood up and poked her face out of the bars, smirking at Graves. "Oi, Gravy Boat. Don't get your chaps in a twist; they don't like it when you get pissed, aight?" She smirked and leaned on the side of the wall, looking at him. "Just think of it this way - at least they haven't pulled out the tranqs yet, am I right or am I right? Of course I'm right." She wondered how quickly she could throw him into a rage; this was much more fun than 'Stare at the crack in the wall.'

It had been a slow, careful, watchful, quiet trek through the City of Progress--
Except that it hadn't because seriously, for real? What's wrong with you people? Do you KNOW who I am? Though despite her usual penchant for pointing off to a random spot in the sky and unloading all holy hell down from afar before gallivanting into the fray for a little more fun 'n' gun, today Jinx was content to cartwheel across the roofs of buildings from one edge of the city towards the center. After all, these nice, neat little buildings were all arranged perfectly in a row (in a roundabout sort of way) for her to make her way to AAAAANY point in the city to just come to a sudden, unplanned stop and start GOING [teemo]'ING CRAZY. She'd've thought that if these loser didn't WANT her to just waltz on in and blow everything up in a ten million square mile radius, WHY BUILD THE CITY FOR SUCH EASE OF ACCESS?
The sun was still up, but she had to wonder for how much longer now that would be the case. And, really, with all the fun things she had planned, she wasn't sure how dark it would -stay- even if it was in the middle of the night. As the Loose Cannon first made her trek through the city, she had started reaching into her hip packs and unloading little satchel charges wirelessly synced to a pretty red button in another part of her pack, dropping them on rooftops and leaving them there. The radar didn't stretch far, though, so she had to keep the extra distractions close to the target or else she might not get to set them all off at the same time and then what was the point?
Now, however, she was sitting across the way from the PARC building, her legs dangled over the edge of a rooftop and swinging. She was humming to herself while she polished old Fishbones. She kept an idle eye on her target while she cleaned, taking precise care and gentle affection to the firearm.
"Do you wanna know who's in that building over there, 'bones?"
'Oh, dear, please don't tell me that's ANOTHER orphanage. Haven't you done enou--'
"Six's in here, 'bones. They got 'er locked up."
'Vi? Why, whyever would they want to lock up a fine, upstanding citizen like--'
"She hurt somebody way back and when she came back home after hidin' out in the ol' chemical gutter, they brought 'er in in cuffs. CUFFS. Can you believe it?"
'Oh, dear, oh dear. She HURT someone? That POOR dear, she must feel positively dread--'
"She KILLED somebody, 'bones! And they locked her up like it's a CRIME or somethin'! That just ain't right, 'bones. Six's got some PROBLEMS we need to square away, but NOBODY puts her in a case. 'SPECIALLY not that ol' FAT Lady."
'I foresee and very loud and unfortunate evening...'
"HAH! For once, you're makin' a lotta sense, 'bones!"
With a groan, she tossed the rag aside and hoisted herself up onto her feet. Resting Fishbones on her hip, she dusted herself off a minute before leaning down to scoop up a couple rounds.
"Hope yer hungry, 'bones! It's gonna be a LONG NIGHT!"
With a 'floop!', she dropped a rocket into the launcher's jaws. She squared her feet on the building and lifted Fishbones up on her shoulder. With a squinting eye, she stared down the barrel at a long wall across the way and held her breath. "TEN nine eight seven SIX!" With a squeeze of her trigger finger, she was jostled back by the kick of the rocket launcher as its payload went spiraling towards the target wall. "YA MIGHT WANNA DUCK!"
"Oi, Gravy Boat. Don't get your chaps in a twist; they don't like it when you get pissed, aight?" She smirked and leaned on the side of the wall, looking at him. "Just think of it this way - at least they haven't pulled out the tranqs yet, am I right or am I right? Of course I'm right."
"Shut yer' trap Vi, whole damn reason I'm in here's 'cuz I tried to help Cait to catch yer' hide. In the end you tuck tail n' run with that two-bit cardslingin' snake in the grass Fate, n' I end up takin' the goddamned heat from the half-cocked Sheriff of Piltover! I'd be downright crazy to not be madder than a deaf mute playing bingo, getting bingo and trying to holler out bingo!" Graves shouted as he futilely shook the steel bars of his cell with his one arm in his anger.
"So pardon me, but I could give a rats ass about what he like n' what he don't like. N' if they try n' pull another one o' them damn darts on me I'll-" Graves' rant was cut short by the rocket Jinx had fired as it landed squarely upon its target exploding on impact. The force of the explosion violently threw him against the bars of his cell blacking his vision out momentarily before he falls to the floor in a heap.

Out of the silence, the explosion shook the whole east quarter of the PARC, throwing concrete and metal across the yard and breaking a hole in lower ward the size of a four horse carriage. The impact forced wreckage into the cell block, killing several of the closest inmates while the creating an opening in the prison wall where cries of pain and anger issued out. Disoriented guards raised alarms while other mobilized their response. They'd alert the police, and swarm the blast zone to maintain control. The prisoners could not be allowed a chance to gain a foothold. They'd take guards hostage, try to find weapons if they were given the chance. The PARC was awake with lights and sirens in a matter of moments, guns handed out and guards awakened. Whatever this was, it couldn't be allowed to escalate.
In the guards quarters, Caityln woke to the high pitched screaming of the alarm system. She dressed and armed herself, running out with the rest of the guard in a race to take positions and secure the perimeter. The Sheriff gleaned the situation from the PA system. An explosion had rocked the lower east ward, freeing prisoners and breaking a hole in the compound perimeter. There was only one explanation, and Caitlyn raced toward the rooftop while running over the prison schematics and nearby buildings.

Vi was laughing silently to herself as Graves went into a fit of rage. It was a bit too easy, but hell he was hilarious to see him acting this way. Suddenly, though, her prison shuddered, causing her to start and catch her balance. There was an explosion, and she was suddenly aware of the rush of panic and excitement.
It was a prison break, and inadvertently whoever was running the gig had accidentally unhinged the cage she was in. The explosion hadn't actually reached her cage, but it had still managed to shake the hinges of the door off, making it a cinch for her to push to the side. All around, the prison was in chaos. Guards were being struck down by the prisoners who were here for a reason, their weapons being stolen.
One was stupid enough to come within striking distance of her door. There was a loud crack as her fist connected with his chin, knocking him out instantly as he crumpled to the floor. Vi stepped out into the chaos, cracking her knuckles and staring at the nearby prisoners, all wielding various melee weapons and glowering back at her.
"...huh. Gonna make it easy for me and just head on back to your cells while we get this mess cleaned up?" She narrowly dodged one of the rocks they threw at her for mentioning it. "Guess that's a no. So c'mon!" Within moments, she was embroiled in a brawl with the convicts and the remaining guards, trying her best to get them under control. She may be under arrest, but that doesn't mean she couldn't help with the cleanup.

Graves picked himself up from the ground, vision hazy and ears ringing from the explosion. As the chaos around him unfolded he did his best to shake off the shell shocked feeling quickly noticing the large that was the wall of his prison moments ago. The Outlaw couldn't help but grin at this new development, thinking maybe his luck hadn't run out just yet and darted through to begin his escape.
On his way out he brutally beat an unsuspecting guard to a pulp amidst the rioting between fellow prisoners and the officers. The man had been the one thing standing between him and freedom and Graves had no intention sitting one more second of his life behind bars. After taking his weapons he slipped away while the police and prison guards attempted to control the situation and keep the rest prisoners from escaping. If the Outlaw was sure of one thing it was that he'd be long gone by thetime they realized he was missing.

Vi kicked, punched, and brawled her way through the inmates, showing complete disregard for their status or who they were. As she pummeled her way down the line, even those who had scavenged weapons were having a hard time standing up against her. The thrill of battle was incredible - even Purgatory hadn't been this exciting. Finally, she'd cleared the floor, leaving just her and the guards upright.
She turned around to them, a few scratches covering her arms and a couple small gashes on her face, her clothing rather messed up and bruises forming on her body. Wiping a small trickle of blood from under her nose, she walked up to the officers and held out her hands. "I'll go back to my cell now, you guys. Unless you want some help cleaning up these guys, too~" She took a quick look through the hordes of people and blinked, realizing something. "Ah, crap...where's Graves?! He's not here!" She called, looking around frantically. Graves was a serious problem on the loose; not as bad as Jinx, but still fairly dangerous. And angry.

After the ringing in her ears had stopped, a grin spread over her face. Through the smoke and fires broiling down below, she could see the prison in chaos. There was a hole the size of a carriage through which handfuls of freed prisoners were escaping. A frown crossed the Loose Cannon's features when she realized not a single one of those escapees bore the short bob of pink and punch. With an irritated groan, Jinx hoisted Fishbones over her shoulder.
"Leave it ta Six to mess it all up! Betcha she's still stuck in a cell somewhere! C'mon, 'bones! Time ta finish the job!"
She scooted close to the edge of the building's roof. Crouching down as low as she could go, she gave a whooping holler. "Hang on, Six! I'm a-comin'!" With a mighty kick off the concrete and brick, she went careening down through the air and off into the smoking crater of the PARC.
