Aatrox gestured as if to wave Kayle off, backing away. "Pah. Do not speak for me. You do not know my motives!" His face warped into a snarl. "War for war's sake...war without a reason...that is a futile war! Just because you have spent so much time among the mortals does not mean you must be as narrow-minded as them. I am painting on a canvas you cannot even see!"
He cut through the air with his hand. "I have heard your opinion on my work, and I disagree. Now if you are too mortal to let yourself be exposed, I suggest you leave. Now. You are not dead yet, so consider yourself pardoned for your insult." he turned back to the scene below, obviously strongly angered at the Judicator's opinion of his art.

Udyr watched the man fall, not really caring for his death. However, the beast man had heard what the man said, and could almost hear the gears in Irelia's head turn. He sauntered over and took the shuriken away from Irelia. With a whiff, he let out a grunt, "It is an unfamiliar scent."
The beast man clapped Irelia's shoulder and firmly gripped it. "It cannot be Akali, else she would be torn out of the Kinkou for ordering, or committing, such an act. Do not let your emotion get the better of you, keep it on the pivot point." His eyes flicked over to Daichi, he let out a low growl. "You...We will deal with you, later."
Udyr's nose twitched. "We will find where the Judicator went. Do not make any rash decisions, Irelia."
This would be around the time Daichi would be able to piece a bit of the puzzle that was Udyr. Why would he give Irelia advice? It was Irelia, the hero of the Ionian war, why would he be giving her any form of advice?
The beast man would take a deep breath, then take off running. Any wall that stood in his way was either ploughed through or scaled with ease. It would take about fifteen or so minutes, but he would eventually come to the foot of the building that the Judicator and the Darkin Blade stood atop of.
Udyr's nose twitched, he knew that the shuriken had to be thrown from a relatively close distance with a high altitude, else the physics behind it were impossible, and with the angel's increasingly faint scent having led him here, the worse that could happen was that he was wrong.
A loud crack was heard, his fingers tearing through wood, brick and concrete as he secured his grip on the building, and started to ascend at an alarming speed.
The proof that the state is a creation of nature and prior to the individual is that the individual, when isolated, is not self-sufficing; and therefore he is like a part in relation to the whole. But he who is unable to live in society, or who has no need because he is sufficient for himself, must be either a beast or a god.

"...He's right. We can't afford rashness right now." Daichi admitted as he remained hunched over the body. Daichi was always discomforted by death or even the thought of anyone dying. He thought back on it, while there was only one man he had vowed to destroy; Daichi had killed once and only once. The experience was not bone chilling but regrettable. He knew one day he’d need to do it again out of necessity. His eyes trailed to Udyr as he ran off, no doubt trailing the Judicator.
“We should do something about the body. We can’t just leave him here and pursue chase.” What if it had been him, or what if it had been Irelia? The thought sent a chill down his spine.

Aatrox was still intent on the scene below when he heard a sickening crack from the side of the building. Turning to face it, his eyes widened in surprise. Without a moment's notice, he took to the sky, flying a good twenty feet above the Placidium. "The beast man...not a master of stealth." He shook his head solemnly. "I doubt he will be as slow to strike as you, Judicator. And if he was to strike, I am certain you would follow, regardless of your better judgment."
He silently circled through the air, his wings beating occasionally, but gliding for the most part, keeping a close eye on Kayle and an ear out for Udyr. He did not want any surprises, not in his time on top.

The beast man quickly ascended the side of the building and pulled himself to the roof top. His nose twitched. "The scent..."
Udyr's eyes narrowed and took a deep inhalation. "It originates from here, and ascends skywards, meaning..." His face snapped upwards, scanning the sky for the source when his keen eyes caught Aatrox.
"You." The beast man held up the shuriken that Aatrox had thrown. His fingers encapsulated it, and with a little effort, crushed the bladed weapon. He turned his hand downwards and dropped the projectile, no wound had been afflicted on him. "What is the meaning behind this charade."

Udyr's words held so much truth, but it did not surprise Irelia when it came out from Udyr himself. The young Captain peered at the beast man with her emerald eyes as she nodded, feeling the firm grip of his palm and fingers over her small shoulders, compared to his hand.
"Do not worry about me Udyr, I am certain that there is an explanation behind this."
As Udyr dashed away, Irelia's gaze shifted back to the corpse of the messenger. She knelt down again and stared at the dead man's eyes thoughtfully, while the rumbling noises that Udyr made echoed in her ear. Something had to be done to this poor man, a proper funeral should be in order so that he could find peace rather than have his corpse decay in the wilderness. She stood up again and spoke with a rather cold voice, without crossing the eyes of Daichi as they remained locked on the body.
"Before we do such thing, we have to find this person's family and tell them the news of this man's fate... The guards will take care of the body and keep it safe and protected while we await for the burial."

((Because, unfortunately, Kayle seems to have gone quite MIA. I'm sorry, Kayle.))
Aatrox looked down at Udyr. "Ah, it's the Beast Man. Glad you could make an appearance." He continued gliding, his wing membranes fluttering mildly in the breeze. "What charade is this you speak of? I am merely letting the strong and the weak determine themselves. You humans are all quite...intriguing. I only wish to test you."
He glided a bit lower. "And what are you doing, Beast Man? Why are you inserting yourself into the mortal's affairs? Have you grown as soft as the Judicator?" He gave a simple gesture to the angel. "Or are you simply interested in a strength outside of the physical?"

Udyr cracked his knuckles. The beast man cricked his neck and glared at the Darkin Blade. "The charade of blaming another for your actions, in an attempt to start conflict. Whatever you may be, we can sense your lies. It is of very little use for you to hide behind anything but your actions." For a moment, his auras were completely stifled and hidden. "It is as you said, you are only determining the strong from the weak."
The roof of the building exploded, sending out a firestorm of ignited debris to the ground below as the beast man rocketed towards Aatrox with a mighty leap, his fist soaring towards the solar plexus of the Darkin Blade. Udyr looked like a fiery phoenix having found its prey, shrieking towards him in a cacophony of flames and rage.

Aatrox was completely taken aback from Udyr's assault. "What are you--" was all he could get out before he took a blow directly to his solar plexus, pushing him backwards through the air several feet. He shook it off, though, even if his stomach now ached severely. "Heh. So the beast takes flight."
He didn't waste a moment when he saw what Udyr was capable of. Without another word, he flew away. "Perhaps another day, animal spirit. For now, I have more pressing matters." He then disappeared from the Placidium.

June 28th, 23 CLE
The air was oppressing, filled by the heat of the Sun that struck down on Ionia for the entire past month without being blocked by any cloud. The tropical island was more or less dry, its people were waiting for the rain even though they enjoyed their long walks on the beach and along side of the rivers' bed, under the searing flames of the Sun's rays. It was around eight in the evening, and the Sun began to sink into the horizon behind the massive chains of mountains that circled the Placidium. Bit by bit the darkness swallowed every taint of light left by the sun as it slowly disappeared and let its throne be taken over by the black moon, that rested in the dark skies as it sat down on the throne.
Between the four walls of the Placidium, moving through the obscure hallways where the light faded away as it hid from the black entity, one could see that it hasn't completely disappeared. An isolated room partially illuminated the hallway with its light and within the room, was the Captain of the Guard herself, speaking with two men who seemed to be part of the government and the military of Ionia. Her voice crawled out of the room and in the hallways as she said.
"We need more land troops across the borders and in-land notably next to the Order of Shadows' territory. We can not allow ourselves to be taken up by surprise General!"
A cold, glacial silence swarmed the area as she stood behind her desk, palms laid on the wooden object while she stared down at the General with her emerald eyes, waiting for the approval of the man. The figure looked at his man before gazing back at Irelia, giving her a nod of agreement as he followed up with his own words.
"Very well Captain, your demands will be executed, if you wish to require more, send us a notice and we will take care of it in the nearest delay."
The Captain briefly smiled and stood up straight, lifting her shoulders up as she saluted the General who took his leave along with the other man.
John had been waiting just outside the door for their meeting to end. He had something he wanted to ask of from his teacher, nothing huge... Well... It wouldn't really be considered tiny either... But he might as well tinker a bit since he has the time. The premise was to just see if he could get a workshop. Power shouldn't be an issue long as he can use solar power. The best part of course is that it wouldn't clash at all with the surroundings. A grin formed as the two walked out. He straightened his stance and brought his foot down from the wall. No use in making the Captain look bad. He waited for them to leave his view and would immediately relax his stance, turning and knocking lightly on the door. Standing in the doorway and waiting for permission to enter.

It was hard to convince her superiors to actually react to the upcoming problems that Ionia may face sooner or later, but Irelia fought for it and managed to obtain their approval and their support and she was quite happy that she had accomplished it. However, this doesn't mean that the problems are far from being over; her heart remained haunted, a dreadful emotion was lurking inside , telling her that things were going to go deeper.
As they left, she took a deep breath and sat down on her chair, turning around and facing her window. Her eyes gazed at the majestic sky that was illuminated by the bright stars. It was a beautiful scene indeed and she could stare at it for more than hours, however, she had a couple of things to wrap up before she could even leave her office. While the Captain was distracted, her ears perceived the sound of the door that was being knocked. She looked over her shoulder, waited a few seconds and simply said with a low voice.
John's hand rubbed the back of his neck and opened the door, stepping inside. His feet carried him towards the desk and he stopped, smiling and speaking.
"So I wanted to ask Cap, since I'm goin' to be here for awhile. You mind if I have a workshop of some kind? I don't really mind where it's located long as it's somewhere away from others so the noises don't bother anyone."
He still had other questions but, might as well start one at a time. Maybe even find out if anything was going on. It was obvious things were getting a bit hectic, especially after watching what appeared to be someone of high rank walking out. He had a feeling he knew full well though. He straightened his shirt and watched her face. Whatever happens, at least he'd have something to do during down times if she was okay with his idea.

She glanced at the man as he stepped in the office, reading his eyes carefully as she turned around on her chair and laid her elbows on the table, staring at him with a blank expression across her face as she listened to his request. She was wondering what would he do with such workshop but if it can provide useful things to her and of course, to him, she would not mind it at all. The Captain thought for a few seconds and finally answered his question.
"A workshop? I have no problems for that as long as I am aware of you intend to do with it. I know a place where you could go work, and it is here in the Placidium."
He grinned widely and his hands balled into fists in a short victory pose. He let out a light chuckle at his own silliness and went back to his usual stance from before. He kinda had a feeling she would be okay with the idea but having it on the Placidium seemed even better than anything he had in mind. Maybe he could have a decent view too.
"That's great!"
He cleared his throat and lowered his tone, continuing.
"I'll make sure you know whatever I decide to do. But I am curious, where in the Placidium did you have in mind?"
He had a few ideas in mind on what he wanted to do but for now they were just that ideas. It would be nice to see if any of them can actually be done, and of course this would make it easier for him to maintain his gear.
