Belle cleared her throat lightly, trying not to be rude and interrupt. However she certainly had something to add to this. Despite it being out of place, her gaze would shift to Jarvan with a light smile, and a questioning look. She was fairly certain the man wouldn't deny her advice or opinion, so after a moment, she would speak up.
"If I may." The Noble began with one hand falling away from Jarvan's while the other embraced his hand gently.
"He may not be lying." Pausing to look between them, "You see, he may be viewing peace different then we are. Ruling over a continent or the entirety of Runeterra would in theory be a means of obtaining peace. And you have mentioned the Void being involved. It's possible he may have allied with them. Do we know of other city-states that may be allied with Noxus? Since Noxus has pulled away from the League, then it's entirely possible he may intend to overthrow it by using the Void, or other alliances we've yet come to realize. The only way to really know is by trying to gather what intel we can to make a more educated assessment of the situation we may be facing. Not just Demacia, but everyone."
"The man that was in here earlier." She spoke to Jarvan, "While my safety is important, he may have better use trying to learn more about Noxus and Swain's intentions. He can likely blend easily, and can report back every few days, or when vital information may become available. We may be able to arrange a messenger he can meet somewhere so not to pull him away from Noxus for longer then necessary."
Belle fell quiet as she looked back towards Poppy, and then Jarvan, "Ah, forgive me. I spoke out of line." Before she would resume her silence at Jarvan's side.
Jarvan nodded towards poppy. "Hmm, maybe a meeting with him would help to clear somethings. It would be best if you held it, the Grand General and I don't see eye to eye." He couldn't help but say Grand General with the utmost disgust. "My hatred won't allow me to think straight in this matter."
When Belle spoke up the prince couldn't help but sputter a little. He tried to cover it up by coughing into his free hand. He was surprised at her intuition. He knew that being a noble meant she was educated in politics, but he didn't expect her to have such a blatant understanding of it. "So peace by occupation? Seems like something he would do." When she spoke of using the assassin to get info on the void and Noxus he became conflicted between defending the city he loved or the woman he loved. "Belle, if anything were to happen to you I would never forgive myself. What if one of the families was jealous? What if they wanted their daughter to be queen? Even in Demacia these things happen."
Jarvan then sighs, knowing that she is right. "I will have him do a little searching. If he comes up with nothing I will send him to Noxus." He rubs his face, worry over what is to come settling in the pit of his gut.

Poppy chuckles for a moment.
"With all due respect Prince Jarvan, I was not planning to include you. If you and him were to meet in an enclosed space, only one of you would leave alive. And no matter which one it would be, the Institute would not be happy as it creates uncontrollable tension between Demacia and Noxus, which most likely would lead to war."
She then turns towards the noble woman.
"And miss, I should have worded better. He said dedication for peace... with Ionia. Which bars away conquest, as there is no other path to peace with them for Noxus. However, you do make a good point."

Belle noted the sputtering from Jarvan which did nothing to help ease her mild embarrassment for speaking out of line. Her gaze settled upon him with a bit of surprise, lifting one hand to her lips to rest her fingertips there trying to measure if she should speak again or not. Instead of speaking though, her cheeks simply hued a deepened pink as her gaze darted down and an apologetic bow of her head would come and go.
Hearing their words, a small smile grew upon her lips followed by a small nod in response. She was glad to have offered some help even at the expense of embarrassing herself.
Jarvan nods as poppy spoke. "You are correct on that, if we were to hold a meeting it would end in a disaster with one of us slain. We would be at each others' throats before the doors even closed. And that would most certainly lead to a war, one that may finally destroy one side. And I don't feel like throwing away the lives of more Demacian soldiers." He pauses and takes a moment to consider what she says. "Yes, that may be for the best. Thank you for doing this Poppy, you are serving Demacia greatly. This may even save some lives."
The prince couldn't help but smirk as Belle's cheeks reddened. He thought this was an adorable trait of her's. After her head bowed he placed a hand under her chin and brought it up. He met her gaze, looking straight into her eyes. "Don't ever be sorry or ashamed of bringing up something that may help this city. I have the responsibility of keeping all of these people safe, and I need all of the help I can get." He then lets go of her chin and kisses her hand lightly.

Poppy chuckles for a short moment. Serving Demacia? Perhaps. But as always, her loyalty and dedication was for Bandle City.
"Well thank you Prince Jarvan. But, remember that always my loyalty and my decisions are based on what is good for my home back in Bandle City. And since this aids both my kind, and our close allies here in Demacia, it is something I feel I must do. It is not to serve Demacia, but to serve my home and it's allies.
However, saving lives is always important indeed. After all, my life's work is dedicated to that as the envoy between our peoples. I will not let my father's sacrifice be in vain. All he did was create a helm...
A helm to be "Glorious beyond comparison". Those were the words of General Berell when he commissioned it. Isn't it the helm you wear Prince Jarvan? My memory of it has faded somewhat...
After all, it has been many years since I helped him in creating it, and my life has been full of politics and League matches since."

When she felt his hand cup beneath her chin, her eyes lifted to meet his with ease. Her expression lightly curious, until she heard his words. It made her smile all the more knowing he appreciated what she had to say, and offered a sense of confidence in sharing her ideas with him. Though, likely at a more appropriate time. As he would kiss her hand, her cheeks helplessly became more pink, not withdrawing her hand from him but rather curling her fingers around his and gently cupping it between both her hands appreciatively. "Thank you, Your Grace."
Belle wouldn't pull her hand completely away if he wished for her not to. But if he released her right hand, she would return to cupping them in front of her torso and remain standing quietly to Jarvan's left.
Jarvan nods at Poppy. "Yes, because of you is why our two homes are such great allies. Even though your intentions are to serve Bandle city, you are still helping Demacia. Because of our tight alliance, what aids one will also aid the other most of the time." When she mentions the helm he removes it. "Yes this is the helm of which you speak. It was expertly made and is indeed glorious beyond comparison. I refuse to wear any helm but this one when I enter battle. Your father was the best blacksmith in history, it is a shame he was taken before his time."
"Don't ever underestimate how much you mean to me Marabelle." The prince calms further when her petite and smooth fingers curl around his large and rough ones. He cherished moments like this with her, even though this is when he felt most vulnerable. "Perhaps you would make a virtuous diplomat, you have proven to have good ideas. If you would like you can start traveling with me." He looks at her expectantly.

Poppy nods, lifting Whomper from her back and holding the hammer, size of an average yordle and probably the weight as well, casually in one hand.
"Indeed... his time should not have been when it was back then. He left so much work behind...
And... my father alone did not make that helmet Prince Jarvan. We worked on it together. He even trusted me with the center jewel. He always said I had a gift for his craft... if he hadn't been lost to those assassins, I might have become as good of a smith as he was.
But... I suppose everything happens for a reason. And the reason the world chose to take my father away from me... was to bring our nations together... as tragic as it is."

Belle's lips tugged slowly into a smile when Jarvan spoke to her again. Particularly when he mentioned traveling with him. It really did make her happy to hear the offer, and she didn't hesitate to reply with a soft nod, "I would like that very much, Your Grace. Thank you."
She returned her attention to Poppy, and the helm the Prince wore as they spoke fondly of it. Her eyes held a hint of sadness at the mention of Poppy's Father meeting an untimely end, though she'd say nothing concerning it. It was clear despite the unfortunate tragedy, a lot of good happened following it.
After Poppy mentions she placed the center jewel, he turns the helm so he can inspect it. "This jewel was indeed expertly placed. After taking so many blows, I had expected the jewel to pop out. But it persevered and stayed in its' place." He then places his helm back on. "It is very sad that your father had to perish for our homes to become united, but at least something good came out of it."
Jarvan chuckles a bit at Belle. "And I could send that assassin to do other things if you are at my side. I would be at ease if I could protect you myself, not that anyone would dare try to strike you with me beside you." He can't help it when the corners of his mouth perk up into a wry smile. "You don't have to be so formal with me my dear, you can call me by my name. Surely if we were to marry you would not continue to call me 'your grace'." He has to stifle a wide grin, for he knows this will cause quite the reaction out of her.

She smiled, happy that he would want her at his side so often. And the idea of traveling alone was very appealing. Having him there with her made it irresistible. She really did enjoy spending time with him. Always feeling safe in his presence, and like she could be herself.
Belle went to speak, but would pause when he spoke again. A mildly curious look gracing her features as he mentioned calling him by his name. Then, he mentioned marriage, and her cheeks could not help but to turn bright red at the idea.
"Y-Your Grace.." She said with a stutter, feeling her composure slip under the shock that he'd bring up such a serious thing. He was joking, wasn't he? Would he ever love her so much that he would wish to spend the rest of his life with her? By her side always? Her lips parted as she struggled to find the words, feeling her modest nature overwhelm her briefly. Her eyes tore away from his, only to watch Poppy make her way off. She felt awful for being so rude, but Jarvan didn't help any! Mildly flustered, the Countess cupped her lips and quickly bowed her head to the departing Diplomat, feeling she owed her at least that much. She hoped the yordle hadn't taken any offense to her embarrassment, and likely odd behavior.
But he brought up marriage! Jarvan was such a meanie!
"Marriage?" She managed to choke out, keeping her lips covered by her delicate hand as if trying to hide the redness of her face. Her heart was absolutely racing at full speed by this point, staring bewildered at the Prince.
Jarvan agrees with Poppy. "Thank you again, you have my gratitude." He watches as she silently makes her exit from the throne room.
The prince chuckles at Belle's mild freak out, knowing she would react this way. He grins up to her almost horrified stare. Now that they are alone, Jarvan puts his hands around Belle's waste and pulls her so that she will sit on his lap. Once she gets situated, he kisses her lightly on the cheek. "Yes marriage my dear. One day I will be king, so I need to have an heir. My son will be named Jarvan V and when the time comes, he will be king. I could just have a child with the first woman I see, but that is not noble." He gently places a finger under Belle's chin and turns her so she faces him. "Unless you do not wish to marry me?"

Belle's cheeks remained reddened as she felt his arm slip around her small waste and gently moved her to seat upon his lap. A warm smile replaced the look of shock, shyly diverting her gaze away from him with her lips rolling inward to moisten them. She could feel her heart racing within her chest as he'd kiss her cheek, turning her gaze back upon him to study his visage lovingly.
When he spoke of a heir, her eyes filled with a kind light that she'd not yet shown before. She hadn't thought of children so soon. Not with Jarvan given how hectic their lives were with all the necessary duties of a Prince, and a Countess. Still, the smile would grow a bit until she heard the question.
"Unless you do not wish to marry me?" Jarvan had said. A look of shock again reached her features, her cheeks burning crimson from the surprise. Was he proposing? She wasn't quite sure what to say. It came off that way whether he meant it to or not!
"I never said I wouldn't." She replied, trying to regain her composure and not show just how utterly embarrassed this had made her. She didn't fear the idea of becoming his wife, though she wondered if he had been considering it since it's come up in topic. Had it been long enough they had been courting each other for such a proposition? He seemed eager in a way, or he was just being mean to her!
"Y-You wish to--" Cutting herself off, she'd bring her hand up to gently cup the hand that rested beneath her chin. Her other hand meeting with it soon after as her head bowed nervously. He could feel her trembling where she was seated. She didn't want to upset him, or disappoint him and she certainly didn't want to jump to conclusions.
