Ashe certainly knew how to break up a fight. It didn’t take much and the display caused Tekun to grin with a bit of a prideful smirk.
“I understand. I’ll be at the palace tonight. After I arrive back from my expedition, I’ll remain in the area. As always, I’m not hard to get ahold of.” His eyes watched as they drifted away and the situation resolved with great ease.
Ashe only nodded to show that she had heard, moving over to push her chair in gently. "I will have your room prepared. Near the doors, windows to jump out of if necessary - though I hope you'll reconsider before doing something like that." She grew quiet, as if contemplating something then sighed. "I truly am sorry for having to cut our reunion short. As much as I'd like to talk with you more, and no doubt there will be more opportunities in the future, some people claim that a tavern is no place for a Queen." Here, the Archer frowned, thinking a little more. She would have to explain to the person who had insinuated such a thing. In technicality, they were right. But Ashe did not see herself as separate from her people.
She sighed, throwing her hood back over her head to conceal her pure white hair. "Thank you," Ashe said, a little more quietly and once more placed her palm upon Tekun's shoulder. She allowed it to linger there, "I will see you later." With nothing more to say, she slid her hand off and slipped through the door without a second pause.

Tekun had certainly done such things in the past, and while they may have been quick there were certain situations he refused to bring up or admit that were quite embarrassing. “I’ll see you in the coming days as well. Farewell and stay safe, no matter how short the journey is.” Whenever there was a meeting a parting was sure to follow but just how long was up to both of them and Tekun had no intention of waiting another few years. As she slipped through the front door and out into the cold, Tekun couldn’t help but watch and let his eyes linger there. The door closed and Tekun noticed just how much quieter the tavern had gotten with less Barbarians within it. His eyes fell upon the table and found himself content to stay in his seat for a little longer.
