Jarvan felt his heart ache as Belle told him of her sacrifice. "You don't have to do this, we can go home together. I can protect Demacia. The League is even stationed within to protect the people." He looked at her expectantly, but he already knew the answer she was going to give him.
The prince gladly embraced his wife. He wrapped his arms around her and laced his fingers in her hair. He was holding the most important person to him. This was the only woman he ever loved, and he would remain true to her for the rest of his life. As she promised she would protect him, he couldn't help but make plans of his own in his head. He would get her back, no matter the cost. Even if he had to fight the king of the Isles.
Now that his initial excitement was gone, Jarvan felt exhausted. He had put in a full day of manual labor before arriving here, and it was late at night. He pulled away from Belle just enough so he could see her face. "I don't know about you, but laying down sounds pretty alluring. How about we turn in for the night?"

Belle's smile remained, kind and caring as it always was, "I know. And I hope that the peace talks might give me the freedom to return home more often as well. I want to be certain that everyone is safe." When he mentioned how tired he was, Belle withdrew from his embrace and rose to a stand, pulling him up with her. A warm smile settled again upon her lips, turning to lead him towards the bedroom so the two may rest. She hadn't slept since they arrived, and had barely managed any sleep while on the Isles. It was a miracle she hadn't lost her mind.
She carefully encourages him to sit on the bed, removing his boots and setting them at the end of the bed for when he wakes up. She would remove her own shortly after, placing them beside his and stepping away to close the door. Belle would dress down for bed, feeling the wear of the events quickly catching up to her. She needed sleep as much as her husband did, and it was becoming more evident as she carefully crawled into bed beside him.
"Jarvan." She said sleepily as she curled up beside her husband, "What shall we do tomorrow? Would it be safe to go for a walk? Or have a picnic?"
Jarvan followed his wife into the room of her choosing. It was furnished grandly, with a king sized bed pushed against a wall. If one was to walk into the closet they, would discover that it was walk in and had all sorts of clothing from the smallest female infant to the largest adult male. There was also a washroom directly attached, with a bathtub and shower. It also contained every beauty and hygienic product imaginable. Each safe house was designed to fit the needs of any Lightshield who may reside within it.
The prince practically fell on the bed he was so physically tired, nor did he put up any sort of fight when Belle removed his boots. He carefully shimmied out of his outrageously uncomfortable commoners clothing, grunting from his sore muscles, and tossed them on the floor. He placed his head on the pillow and rolled over so he could see his wife.
Jarvan smiled a bit as she asked him what they would be doing tomorrow. "A picnic together sounds tempting. Sadly all of the food here is preserved. There are dried meats, canned goods, and grains. I can go hunting tomorrow morning if you would like to have fresh meat for the picnic." He reaches out an arm to her and pushes her hair back and away from her face.

Belle helplessly smiles as she gazes into his eyes, her own filled with immeasurable amounts of love and relief to see him beside her. She trails her fingers along the edge of his cheek, looking curious and mildly sad at the thought of killing something. But she knew it was perhaps best this way.
"Are there any streams with fish?" She asked, "I can cook us a meal if you are willing to spend a little time fishing. Perhaps I can..." Fighting off a yawn, she pulled her hand back to gently cup her lips, smiling shyly at the fact she hadn't managed to suppress it, "..I can find us some berries, and herbs for the cooking."
Belle scooted forward slightly to rest her nose against his, her tired eyes becoming heavy lidded as they lingered upon him, almost afraid if she closed her eyes she might wake up with him gone. The thought forced her to open them again, reaching her hand out to gently cling to him.
Jarvan thinks for a second then nods his head. "Yes, there is a stream nearby." He spent a few moments weighing the effort it took to fish against that of hunting and decided that Belle was right, as always. "Taking it easy and fishing sounds a lot more appealing than having to run through brambles to take down a stag." His muscles ached just thinking about running.
No matter how hard the prince fought it, his eyelids became more heavy with each passing second. He would wearily open them for them to just flutter shut again. "I am going to rest my eyes for a minute." He spoke slowly and with little breath. "We have a lot of catching up to-" He fell asleep mid sentence without meaning to.
Jarvan would sleep unmoving where he lay for the remainder of the night. If he is left alone, he won't awake until late morning.

Belle was in similar spot. As much as she tried to stay awake, she just couldn't. He mentioned resting his eyes, and a part of her took that as permission to rest her own knowing she's unlikely to miss anything. Her fingers softly curled against his upper chest, toying with his longish hair, soon enough drifting away into the dream world.
Should she stir before him, Belle would remain beside him until he stirred not wanting to risk suddenly losing him again. She would hold him while he slept in, not moving from her spot until he would wake.
Jarvan awoke the next morning feeling rejuvenated. No night terrors, and he actually slept through the whole night. He began to stretch, but stopped once he noticed Belle's arms were around him. Knowing that she was still beside him made a smile creep onto his lips. He curled his figure against hers and squeezed her tight. "Hey there beautiful." He then gave her a heartfelt kiss on the lips.
If his wife would allow, the prince would then sit up in bed and wipe the sleep from his eyes while emitting a sleepy yawn. He scratched his bare chest and turned back to Marabelle. "Well, what to do now?"

As he stirred, and their eyes met, a soft smile blossomed across her lips. "Good morning." She said with a gentle tone. His kiss met with her own, she lifted her fingers to trail them across his lips as if trying to make sure he was indeed real. She really was with him, after being gone for so long. She didn't want to move in all honesty. Belle could remain here with him for an eternity, but she knew it was a helpless dream. "Could we stay here..? Just.. a little longer?" She asked softly.
Her fingers left his lips as she scooted in a bit closer, allowing her hand to wander along his cheek, down his neck and across his shoulder to rest against his upper arm. Her cheeks ever lightly hinting a soft pink, "What do you want to do today?" She asked.
It dawned on her, causing her expression to shift to a slight surprise. Her cheeks deepened in color, as her eyes averted slightly somewhat embarrassed, "This is.. only our second night together, Jarvan.." She whispered, speaking his name a little softer then the rest of her words. It had been nearly two months they had been apart. They had their wedding night, and then.. she was gone.
The smile slowly wanes to sadness, knowing she will have to leave again soon. Her lips chased his quickly, resting her hand against his cheek to hold him there just a bit longer. She didn't want to make him worry, or ruin the moment. They were finally in each others arms again.
Jarvan laughed as Belle got bashful. He was glad her time on the Isles didn't erase her shyness, he loved that about her. "Oh, I know what we can do today." He had on his devious princely smile. "We can start with this." He then began to kiss her neck while running his hands down to her waste. He pulled her up against him and moved his kisses down to her collar bone.
"I am yours forever, you don't need to worry about my faith." He spoke between kisses, hoping that her fears from last night had vanished completely. Though he made sure to encourage his trustfulness in case she still had any lingering fears.
Each kiss, each touch that Jarvan laid onto Belle's body was more passionate than the last. The lovers were then left to do whatever they may.
Much later that day.
Jarvan lay on his back, stroking Belle's hair. He looked up at the ceiling when suddenly his stomach rumbled deeply. The last time he ate was evening the night before, and he was starving. "How about we grab ourselves something from the pantry here, then head on out and gather some fresh food?"

Belle lay with her head on his chest, and her arm rested across his torso. She quietly listened to his heart beat, closing her eyes to enjoy the soft rhythm of it. As his stomach rumbled however, her cheeks tinted a light red, "That sounds like a lovely idea." She said, tugging the blanket up as she slowly scooted her way out of bed to dress for the day.
"Do you wish I gather some food from the area while you fish, or would you like to do them together?" She asked with a glance over her shoulder, tugging her clothing on and carefully combing her fingers through her wavy hair before tying it up in a somewhat sloppy bun.
Jarvan rolled over onto his side and watched as his wife got dressed. "If you gathered while I fished, it would save us a good amount of time. We could take the horse I rode here if you don't want to make the hike there." After Belle was finished getting dressed, he figured he should as well. Being out in the forest in the nude in the middle of summer was not a very smart idea.
The prince swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up. He walked past his wife and began to rummage through the mens clothes for something that would fit him. He found a pair of dark brown pants and a button up flannel shirt and put those on. He then sat down and put on socks and a pair of work boots.
Jarvan had to push his messy hair out of his eyes. It was getting rather long, it hasn't been cut since before he got married. He decided that he didn't want to deal with it at the moment and simply pulled it back into a low ponytail. He looked at Belle and smiled, no matter what she wore she was still beautiful. "You ready?"

Belle noticed him watching her dress, feeling her cheeks burn a little from the mild embarrassment that struck her. In truth she may never get over her modesty. Married or not, it was still somewhat strange to be watched, but it didn't bother her in the sense that it was unwelcome. Quietly she smoothed her clothing and looked over at her husband, finding him dressing as well. Again, her cheeks turned a soft rose color, focusing her attention on finishing getting ready.
"It would be." She said, agreeing that splitting up would certainly get things done faster. But part of her was reluctant to do so, knowing Azazel was outside somewhere and may attempt to manipulate Jarvan into doing something bad. A worried look touched upon her features again as she looked back at him. Her eyebrows knitted upward with concern, "Jarvan.." She said softly, "..please be careful with Azazel. I'm worried he might try to-" She trailed off, looking away with a small frown. "Please.. Just be cautious."
"I don't mind the hike." She replied, "But it may be faster to use your horse. It's already quite late in the afternoon."
Jarvan sighed when his wife voiced her concerns. "I know, but he is the only thing that allows us to be in contact. What other choice do I have? I will be as careful as my bloodline allows." Lightshields weren't just ones to sit around and let things happen. They took action and shaped their future how they wanted it. But, at this moment Jarvan had to put his future in the hands of a very untrustworthy man.
The prince wrapped an arm around Belle and began to lead her out of the room. "Let us grab a snack and some supplies and we will be on our way." He gave her a quick peck on the forehead before opening the door and allowing her to leave first.

Belle looked sadly up at her husband, worry very evident upon her soft features. She disliked that Azazel was trying to sway him. She hoped things would go better at the peace talks. Perhaps.. she could warn TRK of Azazel's plot.. But she isn't completely sure of what he was scheming.
As he placed his arm around her, and in response a light smile touched her lips, walking along with him with a rather gentle nod, "Of course, my Prince." They might have a chance to talk later, after all. But her time there was running out, and she knew they only had a few days left before she had to go back. She tried not to think on it too much. It was almost unbearable to have to consider.
As the couple exited the room, Jarvan came to a realization. "This could be considered a honeymoon, right?" A soft smile spread across his lips at the thought. They never got the chance to do things a normal engaged couple would in preparation for their wedding. Usually they would decide all of the decorations, food, and guests together. But, due to unforeseen circumstances, they were forced to elope in a way. At least having this helped him feel like his marriage was more normal.
Jarvan rummaged through the pantry and picked out a few packages of dried fruit and two canteens of water. He set his findings on the table then began his decent into the basement. He motioned for Belle to follow as he went down the steps. In each Lightshield safe house was a sort of armory and supply storage, there would be all sorts of combat and survival equipment.
The prince began to search through the items here, looking for whatever is needed for their trip. "Take whatever you want. I suggest you take at least a pocket knife, wild animals can be dangerous." He found the fishing supplies and grabbed a pole and a tackle box.
