((Normally if someone is clad in plate armour I assume that they would be wearing a helmet as well. Not to mention your signature didn't help at all)).
Garth sighed, before writing down all the information that Adeptis spilled out. "Look it's been a long and not necessarily nice day for me, so I'm a little tired." The aspiring detective explained before handing Adepts a piece of paper. At the top it said "Weapon and Magic Permit, Issued by: Garth Marxian." Below two boxes were checked one for magic and another for unique weapon, which Garth wrote a brief description for Adeptis' chains.
Garth shrugged at Adeptis, "Then might I recommend the academy? I attended there and only recently graduated, and I doubt you could find brighter minds over the topic of electricity." At the mention of Vi fleeing his face got a little sad, but nonetheless he answered.
"Too be honest most of us are disappointed, we never expected her to cross the line. Sure, she roughed up most of the ones she brought in, but at the same time we all knew she was capable of it." Garth explained and he scratched his chin for a moment before continuing, "Still something about it doesn't feel right to me. It just feels...odd. I haven't personally interacted with Vi, but it is way outside her M.O."

Rose intervened at the detective's mention of Vi. "I don't think that the girl had any manners. She might have killed our sheriff if given the chance I say." Rose said. The young waitress returned with some orders and smiled at her. "You're all heart Rose." And placed the orders on the counter, Rose collected them.
Those that cause crime in Piltover, beware. I shall hunt you down and end you, one way or another. You can come with me to the station, or you can have a bullet between your eyes.

"Vi would never hurt Caitlyn, sure they bantered back and forth but it was playful." Garth replied to Rose, "Sure, Vi is a vigilante and a little wild, but she knows what's important. Life for example is very important to her, remember how she got her gauntlets. She made them in order to save others, when she could have just left the others to die." That is what never made sense to Garth, why the sudden change in attitude. Why now, and why that criminal? He doubted that Vi knew the criminal...maybe there was another reason....yet not enough evidence has turned up to support that theory.

"I don't think the famous acadamy would accept me. I know enough about magic, but haven't been handling much in the tech department." Then the conversation flipped to Vi. Truth be told, Adeptis was mildly interested in the discussion about Vi. If only cause her departure might leave a gap big enough to require foreign help. "Right. You're with the law enforcement of Piltover, how have you been holding up since the departure of your ehem... brutish colleague? Also, do you require much more of my time, sir, the journey here wasn't short enough to like getting held up at this time of day." That might not have been completely truthfull, but it was close enough. Plus, getting hassled by law enforcement was a complete and utter waste of time, so it was worth the lie.

Garth would shrug at Adeptis not wanting to attend the academy, Garth couldn't blame him..studying there was quite difficult. The time in Heimerdinger's class where he was constantly studying hextech engineering and technology. Those were fun times and exciting times, not to say Caitlyn was not a bad boss, but he did enjoy learning.
Adeptis suddenly spoke up and asked him about how the police force was handling the lack of their brutish colleague, and if Garth would need to take any more time. The sheriff in training was a bit annoyed at the knight's latter comment. He was doing this man a service, but he would hide his annoyance.
"Like I said before we're all a little down and disappointed, because she added a little life to the station. Granted, that life was a bit aggressive and loud, but it was a nice change of pace. Adeptis you are free to go as the paper I just handed you will grant you clearance for your weapons and magic. Just make sure to adhere to the laws, and your stay will be pleasant."

Rose served another order to the counter and the waitress picked it up to a table. "So much for that. If you ask me, the lunatic finally snapped. She's probably going to Zaun or something to drug herself or something like that. And good riddance. Whenever she finished a crime the criminal was usually too beaten and somehow forgiven."

Adeptis managed to not yawn infront of the two discussing Vi. He wasn't concerned about the increase in crime that there would probably be. However, given Piltover's strict laws, defending himself or getting rid of bandits in his way may be... Troublingly dangerous without exact knowledge of said laws. "Whatever the case, it better not cause a crime spree. Officer, Before I go and visit my bed. What are the laws concerning self defense and or defense of others in your vicinity?"

"Self-defense laws work how you might imagine, if attacked you may defend yourself, though we would prefer if you disabled your attacker rather than kill them. A word of warning though, defense in others can be taken as vigilantism depending on the circumstances. If it is a life or death situation for the victim then feel free to intervene, but if it is something like a robbery inform the police." Garth would explain to Adeptis. Before checking a nearby clock, it was time for him to go back out and patrol. He would gather up his stuff before turning and nodding to Adeptis, "Well sir, you have a good night. I will be taking my leave as duty calls, and I have to answer." With that Caitlyn's apprentice would turn and stroll out of the tavern, and start his patrol. Crime watch out, Garth Marxian is on the case.
