"Nonsense!" Luxanna said with a smile. "Everyone's name is important, after all, it's the one thing that no body can take away from you." She went on to say, the smile still draped across her face. Lux then extended her hand to him. "A pleasure to meet you, Vincent Skywatcher!"

Vincent was used to the strictness of the Noxian army, where those of higher ranks only cared about your name when you where in truble, he extended his hand and grabbed hers. "No, the pleasure is all mine, Miss. Crownguard." As he let her hand go he turned towards the sparing pits once again. This time an idea sprung to mind. "Miss. Crownguard, as you now know I'm just a simple soldier, but I wish to something better, instead of going around in Demacia basically doing nothing I was wondering if you could have me transferred to your personal guard, surely it would be a lot more interesting following you around. You are a champion after all. And such an important person as you are are bound to have enemies, not that I think they'd try anything, but if they did. Give it a thought, see what you think." If she'd say yes it would allow him to get more information, instead of just hearing rumors, and it would also benefit him personally, he liked Luxanna, always so cheerful, not like the higher ups in Noxus, but his allegiance was still with the Grand General.
Luxanna tilted her head to the side for a moment, rubbing her chin once more as she listened to him speak. When he was finished, she smiled and gave him a slight nod. "That sounds excellent!" She said, clasping her hands together. "I would quiet enjoy the company, and you seem to be a very capable person." She then went on to say. "I can have the all of the business stuff taken care of tomorrow."

When he heard that he was a bit surprised and happy at the same time."For real? You'd do that for me? I am forever in your debt, I can't thank you enough, to work for a champion." He smiled, but at the same time in his mind he knew that this was something the Grand General would approve of. He bowed again to Luxanna, "I promise you, I wont disappoint you."
"I'm sure you will not!" Luxanna replied, nodding her head, still smiling. She then turned back and watched the fight, her mind churning over things from the past, and things in the present.

"Great, I will come by your residence tomorrow then, Miss. Crownguard." Vincent turned and looked at the sparing going on, trying to memorize the moves. After a while he turned to Luxanna again, "I'll be leaving for now, I'll see you tomorrow." He bowed quickly and left the sparring area

Xin watched as she thrust the sword forward at such a distance from him with the tip to suddenly shooting off the blade and heading straight towards him. His strong frame tightened as he moved with a reflexive motion to the side allowing it to pass by him harmlessly, before his form suddenly dashed forward intending to run the spear through Cordelia's midsection. The motion was almost impossible to follow as he rapidly closed the distance between them, not pulling any punches to ensure Cordelia learned the most from this fight - if it lasted any length of time.

Cordellia relinquished control of the shard as it passed by the Seneschal allowing it to simply plop into the sand and remain still behind Xin. As he lunged with blinding speed, Cordellia's eyes widened, tumbling to her left the spear grazes across her armor leaving a deep scratch across the greaves that covered her thigh. She lands in a crouch and Realizing there was no way she could get close, she swipes horizontally with her blade, three razor sharp shards rocket toward Xin leaving Cordelia's sword looking rather ragged an pointless. But, that was all part of her plan... If she didn't get killed.

Xin was more then aware of the shards and how they worked. He did not waste time by any means, and was often neck deep in either guarding the Lightsheild family or knowing his allies fighting skills inside and out. Especially those of close relatives to the royal family. When the shards broke off and shot towards him, he snapped the spear to knock one away, another becoming embedded into the grip as the third flew by just narrowly missing his head.
Was that... a smile? No, couldn't be!
The Seneschal spun his spear around, heightening his vigilance to keep an eye out for the remaining shards that were loose and away from Cordelia. He knew she'd be using them against him. As he settled, he gripped the spear forward again with the point aimed at Cordelia, not making a move just yet. He was on the defensive.

Cordellia stood, somewhat shaken by how close he had come to actually puncturing her armor and ripping apart her thigh. She had heard of his speed when it came to combat, hell, she had watched him with great interest when he was present in League matches. But this was something else altogether. Trying to dodge his spear was like trying to dodge a bullet.
She straightens herself, she'd be damned if she was going to be defeated easily. She can see the soft glint of sunlight bouncing off steel, hm... Two behind him, one to the side of him and one embedded in his spear. Her sword was lighter now, but it would inflict far less damage if she actually managed to land a blow.
Cordellia watches Xin very carefully, he looked to be on the defensive. She focuses on one point, the seneschal's knee, the shards, two behind him and one from the side all attempt to shoot toward it. Hopefully aiming to cripple him, should they miss the would continue moving, slicing through the air to reconnect with cordellia's sword. However, if he managed to block them they would simply fall to the sand once more... An idea was forming in her mind for the shard in his spear, but she had to wait first.

Xin's instinct flared as the shards suddenly darted towards his knee, catching one within the grip of his spear while the other two narrowly sliced across the fabric of his pants. Within the blink of an eye, Xin dashed again towards Cordelia but this time instead of running his spear forward, he swung it around intending to catch her upper chest with the bottom of it and force her onto her back. He didn't hold back for this motion, and should it impact it was likely to knock the wind from her, as well as leave a huge bruise where the pole of the spear would strike.
Should he succeed, he quickly would bring his boot down onto her stomach and aim the spear tip towards her neck, letting it be felt without piercing the skin any. His eyes.. those eyes of the hardened warrior were perhaps one of the most intimidating aspects of the Seneschal. But would Cordelia let the fight finish so quickly? Surely even if he got her onto the ground, she had a trick up her sleeve.

The two shards that narrowly missed his knee barely had time to reconnect with her sword before his attack slammed into her chest, Cordellia eyes bulge and her mouth is forced open as all air is crushed from her lungs, spittle flying from her mouth as her feet leave the ground from the sheer force of Xin's attack. A subtle crack would be heard, only to Xin, as her sternum fractured. Gasping for breath her eyes had rolled to the back of her head for a moment, it was clear Xin had won the fight... But Cordellia, gasping for breath finally managed to inhale, only to realize she had a spear touching her neck. Her eyes focus on Xin, something glimmering in her eyes, admiration? But below that... It was that predatory look once more.
In an instant her sword seems to explode leaving just the hilt in her hand as hundreds of tiny metal sharps begin flying around her, if Xin didn't move back, he would likely be torn to pieces. But already the strain of using such an ability was showing on Cordellia's face as she struggled to rise.

Xin saw the predatory look in her eyes, along with the admiration. He responded to neither. It was what she did afterwards that caused his eyes to narrow slightly, "Lady Cordelia." He said in a firm tone as the spear withdraw from near her neck and he stepped back feeling the uncomfortable itch of the magic assaulting his body with the fracture of shards floating about.
"You are injured. When you have healed, we will fight again." He would say nothing more as he simply walked away, knowing that to remain would likely result in her further hurting herself. He would not allow this. Xin glanced up towards a nearby medical team signally for them to come forward only after Cordelia's shards had gone inactive again.

Cordellia's breaths were labored, her eyes barely managing to stay open as she struggled to hold onto her consciousness. The ability was sapping at what little strength she had left, taking a shakey step forward toward the Seneschal as he walked away, Cordellia attempts to call him back. Trying to swear she could still fight. A look of desperation crept into her eyes... She wasn't even near the level of a Demacian champion... She glances to the right, looking at three soldiers in particular, she recognized their armor as those of the Silver sentinels. They had come to watch? And how she had failed them... She drops into the sand utterly fatigued, blackness creeping into her vision, the small shards of her blades simply drop into the sand with her. Unable to focus enough to bring them back to her blade.
She blacks out with one thought taunting her, she wasn't good enough.
