Lulu notices the birds with an almost childlike curiosity. she points her finger at said birds
I DEMAND YE TO CHIRP!!! CHIRP FOR MEEEE!!!
You find us funny, do you not? A source of amusement. Is that not so? With our pretty clothes, and our convoluted circumlocutions and our little silliness of manner and behavior. And perhaps we are funny... But you must never imagine, that just because something is funny,it is not dangerous.

The birds that Veigar trains are eagles, some of them are big enough to carry yordles on their back ((Aka the eagle from his Greybeard Skin)), Veigar gives a order and a eagle lands between Lulu and him.
"Those are MY eagles follow MY instructions, and only will chirp if i tell them to do it"
He sighs and makes a movement with his hands, then the eagle begins to chirp. He looks at the sorceress and says.

Lulu smile grows wider by the second

The eagles fly around the yordles while Veigar is talking. "I'm not "fun"! I'M THE MASTER OF EVIL!! The only thing that i can show you is PAIN!!" A thunder is heard in the distance
"...AND NOW, LEAVE MY LAIR OR I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER!! Veigar's eyes shine angrily
See as there was still no motion outside of the base, the two scouts decide it was safe enough to move up next to the door. Once there, they put their well-trained ears to the door in an attempt to listen to the conversation.
Core made his way up the path, trailing the scouts quietly. He watched from some brush as the third, the more official looking one scurry back the way they came. As he waited, he saw the inconspicuous lab of the Tiny Master of Evil.
"What is he planning now?" He thought to himself, looking the base over for a potential weak point of entry. After a few moments, he noticed the two remaining scouts quietly move up to the door of the labs. "Hmm...maybe I can use them to exploit Veigar. Get a man on the inside."
Core crept out of the brush and whistled to the scouts as he approached. He held his hands out, showing he meant no harm.
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."

The scouts both tense their muscles as they hear the whistle, but silently signal to each other who would stay and who would go. The scout on the right keeps his ear to the door and hand ready on his combat knife, while the other moves over to Core's position swiftly and silently. He gives him a stern expression with crossed arms.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?"
"I'm that freelance mercenary that you hear about in Bandle. You can relax, I'm not here to hurt you. As you can see, I'm a yordle like you."
Core kept his hands visible, showing he meant no harm. "I'm here tracking him, on a contract. I think we can help each other out here."

The scout raises an eyebrow, turning his head slightly.
"Tracking the wizard, is it? Well, it's a likely story... and yes, I've heard of you. Currently, however, we're only here to gather intel and possibly map out a framework of the structure here. Everything is currently under control, but your offer is... interesting to a point. Elaborate?"
Occasionally the younger scout would glance back at his elder companion at the door, who was still keeping an open ear on any sounds he might pick up from the inside with little success.

"Help me help you." Core pointed to the sign that read "Now Hiring Evil Assistants". "You help me get in, I'll help you get whatever intel you're interested in."
He looked at the door the other scout was at, showing some frustration in trying to listen. "Your friend there knows those doors are designed to be sound proof, right? I imagine he's only picking up shrill shrieks and cackling."

The young scout glances back at his partner with slight sorrow, sighing ever so slightly and nodding.
"Yes... he's always been a bit melodramatic. I suppose, since you're willing to put yourself in harm's way for this... we'll help you in. But understand that we won't be entering with you. However, you'll have a full squad of scouts out here in no time if you need the help. Just whistle like earlier. I'm sure one of us will hear you from out here. In the mean time, we'll try and find another entrance."
He signals for the older scout to come near, whispering something to him when he arrives. The older yordle nods and slips off his backpack, sifting through its contents. After a couple of seconds the scout pulls out a cape and a pointed hat along with an aged book, and hands them to the mercenary. The younger of the two simply rolls his eyes, obviously having expected something like this from the elder.
"Here you are. This book has a few parlor tricks in it, but nothing major. Only use it if you're questioned on magical ability, which I find would be unlikely but... just to be safe. We'll stick around in that bush near the door in case Veigar does something rash before allowing you entrance."

Core raised a brow as he looked at the disguise. "A magician starter kit? Simple..but clever." He took the disguise and put it on, tilting the hat to hide his face and keeping the cloak over his left arm to hide his trademark weapon.
"So..what tricks does the book have anyways? Just so I know what I got." He held the book in his right hand and looked at the senior scout. "I'm sure Veigar will require some sort of induction."
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."

The older scout scratches his chin, trying to recall the last time he'd had to use the book.
"Well, as I said, there are a few parlor tricks in there. Levitating small objects, creating sparks with your hands, changing paper into flowers... simple things like that. I'd suggest using minor levitation or creating temporary doves out of thin air. They seem to work the most and have the least amount of side effects."
He smiles and places his hands on the book, opening it for Core to a page describing the levitation spell. After speaking the magic words with a strict tone in his voice and pointing at a nearby twig, the stick floats off the ground and up to the two. The scout makes the twig hover over on the open pages, guiding it with his finger, and then closes his hand to let it softly drop onto the book.

Core clapped his hands slowly, impressed. He picked up the twig and eyed it before tossing it to the ground. "That could work...wait. What did you mean by side effects? I'm not worried or anything, but..." Core looked down at the tome. "What if levitation or sparks aren't enough?"
He kept his facial expression calm as he wondered about the possible side effects. He didn't know the Scouts were using magic. Was this something experimental? He took a deep breath and closed the tome.
"I always liked to find trouble, but I never asked for this."

The younger scout had returned to the door, leaving the elder to converse with Core. The older scout chuckles slightly, pointing at the twig again.
"Well, if you read the back page you'll see the list of side effects. The very beginner spells have very little and only a small chance of acquiring them, but the more advanced ones, like teleporting, can have some fairly painful ones. That twig for example, if you used levitation on it too much, might be permanently weightless or only a portion of it would be, like one of its leaves. It's only a beginner magician's play book, so I wouldn't expect to find anything fairly powerful in there, but since we just got it recently for our disguises I haven't had a chance to dig further into the later pages. Be warned though... using an excess amount of magic from this book will probably have so many negative side effects it could kill you."
The scout gives the mercenary a very stern look with this last comment, being sure that the consequences of using the book could be quite lethal for some spells.
