"I don't feel bad." She lied, "It's just this injury that's annoying me." Cordellia looks around her, with a heavy sigh she looks to Lux, "So what am I supposed to do? Sit here for who-knows how long with nothing to do?" She slowly slides down, pulling the covers up to her chin, "Having nothing to do is going to kill me."
"I can sit and talk with you." Luxanna replied, she had a feeling that Cordeilla was lying, but it didn't feel right to press the subject. "Besides... everyone needs a break now and then." She said, smiling warmly, feeling a bit more comfortable now that Cordeilla covered herself up

Cordellia lay flat on her back, her eyes staring up at the ceiling as she let out a quiet sigh, "What's it like?" She asked curiously, "Being a champion for Demacia..." Jarvan, Garen and Lux had all become champions, as they grew up Cordellia had wanted to be one too, to fight for her city... To protect them from opposing forces without having to lead people into mindless slaughter. Yet she was the only one out of them to not become a champion. Her fight with Xin clearly showing her she was no where near becoming one. How long would it take to achieve her goal? Was it even possible?
"It's... different." Luxanna replied, sighing a little. "But Cordell.. you don't need to be a champion to fight for Demacia." Lux went on to say, Lux looked about her room... she sighed, the League was nothing more than more war and death... the only difference being is that people didn't stay dead. "...Do you need anything?" Luxanna then asked, flickering her eyes to Cordellia once more and smiling.

Cordellia didn't respond for a few moments, her dark brown eyes slowly moving look at Lux, "It's not about fighting for Demacia... It's about saving the soldiers from needing to risk their lives in needless slaughter." She moved her eyes back to looking at the ceiling, "I'm just not strong enough. My father was content with serving in the military. Look at where that got him, slain in battle with the Raesdel."
A flicker of sadness shows in her eyes as she remembered her father, always so kind, loving... He would have done anything for Cordellia, "Lux, do you think it's possible, to think I could be with you, Garen and Jarvan again?"
"I do." Luxanna replied, frowning slightly... she sighed sadly, placing a hand on Cordeilla's shoulder. "You can do anything you set your mind to." She let her hand sit there for a moment before pulling it back. "War.. is not an easy thing..." Luxanna then went on to say. "And the League is not so different... it's still death... it's just not permanent."

Cordellia smiled at Lux, "I know what the toll of war is, I have fought, killed and survived many times in service to Demacia. But, if I can fight on the fields of the league instead of soldiers on the field of battle, it's something I would gladly fight for." She eyes Lux curiously, "Maybe you could put in a word for me at the Institute?" She smiles half-jokingly, yet still half hoping she would. She doubted it would matter though from what just happened she didn't have the skill for it. Maybe if she struck a deal with the summoners..

22nd of June 23CLE
Vincent walked towards Lux's room, he knocked three times at the door"Atcho, Atcho, Atcho.." he sneezed three times and then stood attention waiting for Lux to open the door. "Crap, I can' t become sick, not now." he thought. He felt he had to sneeze again "Atcho, Atcho..."

Lux sighed and smiled a little. "I'll see what I can do, Cordell." Luxanna said, standing up and walking over and fetching the other glass of water before bringing it to Cordeilla. "But I cannot guarantee anything." She then said, folding her hands in her lap.

Luxanna wandered over to the door and opened it, dressed in her blue suit, she tilted her head to the side. "Hello Vincent, is there anything I can do for you?" She said.

As Lux opened the door he bowed, "I was wondering where we'll be going today, if you have planned on leaving the mansion that is, I've heard rumors of Kayle being Demacia, and I thought you'd might want to know." He turned away for a second. "Atcho, Atcho..." he turned his attention back at Lux. "Sorry about that, Miss."
Lux pondered the thought... while the Judicators appearance in Demacia did warrant some interest, she knew other Demacian champions could look on her. Luxanna then smiled a little as a thought crossed her mind. "I heard that there was a ball in Piltover... do you wish to accompany to it?" Lux said, tilting her head to the side slightly.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little cold." He said with a small smile "Of course I will follow you to Piltover, I'm in your service after all, when are we leaving and what do I have to bring?" He asked.
Lux sighed and smiled a little. "I'll see what I can do, Cordell." Luxanna said, standing up and walking over and fetching the other glass of water before bringing it to Cordeilla. "But I cannot guarantee anything." She then said, folding her hands in her lap.
A night would pass, Cordellia would be missing from her bed. A single note left in place;
"I cannot protect Demacia and her people at my current skill. Heading to Ionia. Seeking Master Yi. Tell my cousin and King Jarvan that I do this for the good of Demacia. I must strengthen myself if I am to protect those I care for. My defeat to Xin Zhao has shown me I am not strong enough. Please forgive me."

Vincent knocked on the door and entered the room, he was looking for Lux. She wasn't in there, instead he found a note, he read it and then rushed out of the room "MISS. CROWNGUARD, CORDELIA IS GONE!"

July 21st, 23 CLE Step. Step. Step. Lucas was slowly walking towards the front entrance of the Crownguard Mansion. He felt downright out of place near such a massive home, not to speak about the owners. But being nervous wouldn't help him, he had to speak to Lux, if even for just a moment. The blue and yellow cloak following his feet with every step, until he reached the entrance, where he simply knocked. Here goes hoping nothing complicates the matter. Particularly, explaining to Lord Crownguard would be quite problematic.
I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.
