White scales glistened across the murky sky of the Shadow Isles as a familiar beast made its way back through its darkness in search of the one she had been taken from.
She wanted a fight.
She had to regain her honor, shamed by the decisions of her Master.
Ryuki's wingless body danced through the phantom wind of the Isles, turning and twisting closer to the shores as the salty ocean water licked against its rocky surface.
Honor bound, the dragon-beast lifted her head and let out a roar, resonating across the nearby landscape and through the crevices that made up the multiple isles. Many of the Isles creatures scattered by its sound with a few creeping closer to look upon the undead wind dragon. Her fierce gaze never seeming to find them, only searching for the one she needed to finish her battle with.
Hecarim.
The wind kicked up again and sent her flying into the air however remaining low enough to search the trees and landscape for the centaur.

The King had placed numerous creatures across the coast of the Isles, though the thick choking black fog was usually enough to turn away those brave, or stupid enough to venture here. The King had taken precautions to ensure they would be ready should anyone try retaliate for their invasion. So when the Dragon burst through the fog and swept low across the ground in search of her opponent, word was spread to the King quickly. When a visual was brought to the king, he moved immediately.
The Half-dragon was encroaching on territory that was no longer welcoming to anyone affiliated with Karthus. The King was sitting on his throne when the news was brought to him. In the back of his mind, a paniced voice from one of the sentries sounded telling him of a creature with scales as white as snow flying across the land.
The Ruined king answered with nothing but a growl, his eyes ignited from beneath his helm as he rose from the stone throne. In his hand, black smoke swirled and pulsated as it elongated into a sword-like shape before solidifying. The King marched out of the hall, two hounds snarling as they quickly bound to his side, they would be used to seek out the foreign scent and lead the King to the beast.
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
The dragon beast danced across the gloomy sky, just below its pitch black clouds with hints of wind curling its way across her fur and scales. She was easily seen from the ground, and many would scatter when she drew close knowing the power behind the Seraphim. A beast that lost its heart to save another. A creature that would sacrifice her very life to breathe life into a man she had always loved.
But she knew not of this love. Only remnants of its existence remained a part of her.
The wind dragon gripped upon the tips of deadened trees and tore at them with mighty claws, parting them in search of the centaur. A battle that needed be finished, driving her to do perhaps foolish things. But her honor was at stake. She had to do this.
Ryuki landed in a glade, her burning, golden eyes set upon the area around her. Not far off she could see the King's Castle, and a roar was sent up towards it in challenge. Her claws ripped into the ground, tearing up the deadened grass and phantom foliage that grew there, whipping her tail around violently behind her to scare off anyone foolish enough to try and challenge her.

From the trees near demonic howls and snarls could be heard as great heavy paws thundered toward the dragon. Two pairs of eyes glowing like the embers of a dying fire could be seen now, shuddering as they neared the beast from the darkness. They had the masters prey. The master would be pleased....
The two great beast like hounds darted off to either side of the dragon to keep her at bay, if she cared to observe the hounds that looked ready to rip her limb from limb, she would notice they had no fur. Their flesh was carved with images of tortured souls, screaming and clawing upon one another in contorted agony.
Another pair of footsteps could be heard now, heavy and foreboding. They moved slowly as if they had all the time in the world to get where they moved to. A single pair of blazing cyan eyes met with the dragon's from the darkness, a cloak of shadow trailing out behind him giving off wisps of thick black smoke as the figure moved. In his hand a rather long sword was clenched, his other hand was engulfed in a black fire.
If the King recognized the creature before him or not, he did not show it. He remained silent, unphased by her brutal roar and the lashing of her tail. "..."
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
As the demonic dog-beasts drew into view, the half-dragon in her mighty dragon form would hiss softly to discourage them from attempting anything. She was not here to fight them, and had no desire to do so. The dragon moved with rapid motions as she darted around, raising the fur on her body with the scales seeming to enhance the general size of her form puffed out like an animal threatening their assailants.
But as the King would appear, her focus shifted tearing her claws against the ground with a steady look settled upon his armored visage. She recognized him. The wind picked up around her body as scales shattered from her form and joined in on the rapid torrent surrounding her. As the air stilled and the scales disappeared, Ryuki would stand there in her human form. Her expression neutral, her eyes hardened undeniably making it difficult to read her. She did not reach for her weapon just yet, as she stared down the King in the same manner he looked upon her. Cold, calculating, and passive.
"Bring your centaur." She spoke up, "We have a fight to finish."

The King's helm evaporated into a black mist revealing his long red hair, his dark blue eyes looking down upon her with a look nearing disgust. She was in fact the creature who held the soul that rightfully belonged to the King. The King kept his sword by his side, the black fire engulfing his other fist snuffs out. He speaks, his voice just as cold and devoid of emotion, since Belle had left to visit Demacia many would have noticed any passion he once held had vanished as though taken with her.
He held his gaze upon her, "You will fight me." It was just as much a command as a statement, there would be no escape for her. She had to either fight the king or die running, she would notice something about the way he looked upon her, his eyes truly did look like they belonged to a dead man.
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
This was an image she did not expect of the King. To see his visage exposed; to see his eyes, and his hair, and the color of his skin. The deadened look within his gaze as if stared down by a dead man. Ryuki did not budge. His challenge would not conjure a response from the silent half-dragon as she returned his gaze. Her fire-kissed golden orbs locked upon his, stirring only with that primal instinct that was all too common with such half-beasts as she.
"My honor will be restored." She said, "And I will have my fight with your centaur, Ruined King." Nothing she said was bitter, nor filled with any disdain for the man. She in fact had no qualms with him. He was simply an obstacle standing in the way of what she had come to do.
"If this is the only way-" Slowly the naginata was drawn from her back and raised, her armored body lowering slightly into position, "Then we shall fight. And when this battle is over, I will have my fight with Hecarim."

The Ruined King simply raises his sword, the helm forming around his face once more. As the cyan fire ignited in his eyes, it would almost be as though she could feel his piercing gaze burning right through her. The hounds look to step toward her in order to help their master bring down the prey, but a quiet, "Back." Sounding from the King made the hounds whimper and back off into the trees with their tails between their legs.
"If you live." He let out a long sigh and slowly began simply walking toward the woman before him, "No magic. No running." He stopped, he had realized this woman before him was fighting for honor, nothing as petty as revenge as he had first thought. So, the king bows and takes a defensive stance giving her the opportunity to strike first.
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
The King.. bowed? Yet again, she was surprised to witness this. The hounds played little part in what was happening currently, and were mostly dismissed even before they started closing in. She knew she could tear them to pieces with ease.
As the King bowed, she would respectfully bow in return though her gaze on him was never lost. As honorable as a bow before battle was, many have taken advantage of it and struck when their opponent was not looking. Such a disgraceful move!
No magic.. No running.. As she returned to position, she would consider his words. Her wind affinity was not magic, it was simply a part of who she was. Would he see it that way though? Unfortunately it was also something not always in her control as her passive alone would pick up the wind current around her giving her extra shielding from his attacks.
Ryuki burst forward in an instance, her naginata raised to the side as she came in towards his torso in a sweeping motion using it's length to keep herself at a slight distance as she did so.

The King's eyes followed her movements, somewhat surprised by her burst of speed, though he wasn't expecting it, he still managed to block the sweeping strike with the flat of his blade. He refrains from commenting, deciding it would mean nothing in the end anyway. With near inhuman strength he moves in, keeping his blade locked with hers while he brings his free hand in to drive a punch into her stomach.

The Dragoon felt the impact of her naginata strike against his blade, causing a sharp spark of light the ignite between the two for a split second. That put her in the defensive when her attack had been stopped, causing her to quickly jump back away narrowly being missed by the punch towards her stomach. Ryuki placed distance between them again, changing her starting position slightly as she studied him. It appeared to her he was focusing on just counter attacking her. While fair, it put her at a slight disadvantage if she was forced to initiate. However she had some idea on ways to deal with it.
Again, she rushed in with another burst of speed. The air around her seeming to part, allowing her to move more quickly and with more force as she jabbed the naginata towards his face. Expecting he would move to block it, the naginata suddenly snaps down and forward intending to pierce his chest armor, aimed directly for his heart.

While Ryuki put the initial distance between them, the King simply watched and brought his blade to the ready in order to react to her next move. He stayed on the defensive, gauging just how strong she really was. She lunged this time aiming for his face, be moved quickly to intercept the blade with his own while moving back, an attempt to deflect it away... Only to have her drop her attack, lowering her aim to his chest where his heart was.
He growls as his free armored hand is brought up beneath the blade to push it off course. As the king attempted to this however, the blade connects with his breastplate as the hand smashes into the blade, bringing it up and just over his shoulder, sparks flying from where the blade had scratched along his armor. In retaliation the king brings his blade in a horizontal sweeping motion toward her thighs in order to either cripple her or slow her down at least.
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
Ryuki watched the naginata spark across his chest armor with the motion of his hand as wind picked up around her again sighting the blade coming around towards her hip. As it struck, it would clash violently with a windy torrent that had erected around her, breaking through only as she jerked back. The blade did not miss entirely however, as the blade cut across the armor of her hip deep enough to just draw blood.
The half-dragon didn't seem to take notice of the injury as a burning hunger for battle ignited within those eyes of her's. She longed for this. To feel her blade clash against that of someone else's, to smell the blood and sweat as they filled the air and painted the ground in violent crimson. She did not show it outwardly, but she was excited.
She left little time to react as the blade made its full pass downward, taking two quick steps forward with the naginata sweeping from his left to his right making it difficult for him to block it with his blade given the assumed position. Mid-way through the slash however, she would jerk the naginata upward and jab towards his throat intending to send the blade straight through.

The King felt nothing as he fought, not excitement for battle, not fear for his life. He could tell he had harmed her, yet his eyes still held the dead gaze within them, not even seeming to register as her naginata swept from left to right only to suddenly lung toward his throat. The King didn't have much choice other than to try move out of the way, but her strike was to fast to avoid it completely. Her blade slices through a gap in his plate armor, ripping apart the links of chainmail that protected his neck exposing flesh, for a second it would look as though that were the only damage she had done, until a black liquid begins seeping from the gash.
From her position, the naginata was still over his shoulder as the king retaliated. Not intending to kill the woman, he drives an armored fist upward into her arm, intending to shatter her elbow completely.
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.
Battle was in her blood. She was half dragon after all, and a warrior that had seen many days within the coliseum of the Fleshing. Though her memories of such a place were absent, she could feel the drive to battle flourish within her. The blackened liquid spilling from his neck gave her no pause, only encouragement to keep going. As the naginata went into full swing, she felt his armored fist come upward towards the underside of her arm, catching upon the fabric of her sleeve and tearing at the skin as it ripped it free. Had it directly impacted, it would have impaired her without a doubt. But it missed - if only barely, spilling the still red blood of her deceased body across his gauntlet with a patch of decorative red fabric trailing behind the motion.
Ryuki kept moving however, as she spun and sliced through the wind with a sharp screaming howl as if the wind itself experienced the pain of her motion. The force behind it sending the naginata's blade towards his left arm, aiming for the joint where he was least protected fully intending to outright slice his lower arm off.
