"No... not really." Luxanna replied "It's too hard to tell through these masks." She began to sip her punch once more, she saw someone staring at her through the corner of her eye.. and curiosity spiked. She wandered over to the on looker and curtseyed to him. "Hello, I couldn't help notice you staring at me." She said, wondering what his reply was... wondering if he knew who she was.
The sun had nearly finished setting when Ray arrived in front of the bouncer. He had left all of his weapons with James before coming to the party. After the bouncer frisked him, not finding anything, Ray proceeded into the estate. Still wearing his traditional skull mask, he tapped the side of his head and mumbled a few words before joining the majority of people. Having a few hours to kill, he wandered about the party, looking for any familiar faces in his home-city.
Liam Kain was a man of the road. A man who was without worry and always positive in his outlook. This late afternoon was one of the more exciting things to happen to him thus far. He was given an invitation to a party, something he always wanted to experience as a small child, and headed off to attend. Quickly acquiring a black face mask that covers his eyes, the young swordsman makes his way towards the estate where the Bouncer removed his weapon and placed it on the table nearby. It was no trouble for him beyond that as he makes his way in, dressed in his usual attire that has been washed and cleaned as to not stand out too much. Immediately his nervousness around some of the female guests causes his more suave side to take hold. The swordsman converses with a few guests in the midst of the party enjoying it significantly.

Razie took a break from the group of people he was entertaining and went for a drink of punch, while drinking he looked around the scene and spied the small group of Elody Lux Xenos and Kin. He decided to people watch for a bit, wondering what a girl like Lux could be doing at a party in Piltover he spoke out aloud to himself.

Vincent was just about to talk to Lux again as she walked away, he followed her and stood by her side. When she spoke he looked at the man closely, memorizing his mask, and when he'd speak, his voice.

After a few minutes of watching, Kevin decided to avoid the crowd a bit. Making his way near the punch bowl, greeting everyone that recognized him on the way. He stood next to Razie for a moment before introducing himself. "Hey, you look sort of familiar? Whats your name?"
He lowered his mask a little in case Razie did know who he was.
Elody pointed to her mask. "Oh, this old thing? I thought it was normal enough, just picked it up on the way here. I think it was a bit of a ripoff." She leaned in closer to him, whispering as if what she was saying was a national secret. "I paid at least seventy valors for the thing. I would've made my own, but the time crunch..."
She went back to her casual pose, tugging at her hair slightly. "So, got a name, or are you really far into the masquerade thing?" She giggled slightly. "It's fine if you don't want to. Some of the people here really like staying under wraps, if you catch my drift." She gestured over in the direction of Kin at that word. "Like her, but some do it better. Oi! You don't have to take all the food home with you!" She smiled warmly at Kin and gestured for her to join the two of them.
XenoS nodded slowly, face twitching as if in pain. "Yikes... That does seem like a rip off." He said. 70 valors for a mask? Damn. His fingers tapped against the cup, making a small sound as if he was trying to think of something. A name? Crap crap crap crap, a name, he has to think of a name! "It's Sam." He said so suddenly, saying the first name that came to him. He extended a hand out, willing to shake hers if needed. "It's not something I'm too heavy about. First time coming to one these parties anyways." He said with a shrug. "Not sure if I DO catch your drift though."
He turned to who she was talking about, raising a brow slightly. Well she certainly was Ionia, that was a dead giveaway. Pretty, but she's not the reason why he's here. Someone else is. Then again he wondered why she was stacking so much damn food in the first place. XenoS chuckled softly as Elody brought her to the group. Of course on the inside it was upsetting. He was starting to draw attention, having people see him up close. That wouldn't be good if something were to happen. Authority would have people to contact for details about a murderer.
He had to play it cool though, and gestured along with Elody. "We don't bite... At least she doesn't." He said with a small smirk to himself... Stab would be a better word... And shoot... And hang... And decapitate....
A lot of words would be better than bite.
Kin had almost finished her third shrimp when a relatively loud exclamation startled the food from her fingers and back onto the plate. She eyed the offending delicacy for a moment before sighing, turning to the source of the noise. Though she expected to mostly blend in and avoid much conversation, she supposed that avoiding people would be the last thing she'd want to do. Balancing her plate, she walked a little bit closer. A small smile broke her face, awkward and polite. "I know." Her response was a little too firm and her smile faltered briefly before she continued, "I mean, everything tastes nice so why not?"
It still sounded wrong and Kin resisted the urge to slap her own face - mostly out of fear that she would spill her plate of food. Her nose wrinkled briefly, her thoughts racing for a second before she decided upon the simplest course of action. That was, take the shrimp from the mountain and nibble at it as quietly as she could. Though Kin knew that she had been wolfing food down as indiscriminately as possible not mere seconds earlier, in front of people, she knew how to exercise some restraint.
She observed the woman in between bites before turning her attention to the other that seemed a little less than pleased. Had she unknowingly pried into something she shouldn't have? Perhaps the man was conducting some shady business and she had rudely interrupted them. Well, that was no concern of hers. Kin simply nodded at the male, the same smile tickling the corners of her lips as she let out a cordial laugh. "I'm not scared of bites." She glanced over the woman, spotting a familiar mask milling about in the background.
That makes two. Kin thought grimly before her expression brightened and she brought her golden eyes back on her temporary companions. "I'm Kin, by the way." She dipped her head and shoulders into a short, customary bow as greeting. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Elody chuckled. "Oh, the pleasure's all mine. I'm Elody, and this man is Sam." She smiled innocently at the both of them. "D'you need any help with that plate? It doesn't look too stable. You may want to put it on a table or something." She leaned forwards slightly, her arms extended slightly to catch any food that may fall.

XenoS looked to the woman as she approached the slowly growing group. He had caught eye of someone staring in the corner of his vision, and THAT he didn't like. Spying as an assassin? No big deal. Having someone SPYING the assassin? COMPLETELY different ball game. He ignored it, doing his best to act casual.
He looked back to the woman that now joined the group, noticing the large portion of food as well. He noticed her uneasy posture, forced, awkward. Suppose she wasn't one for parties, and she was perhaps invited to come by some friends? At her sentence, XenoS chuckled. "Well, that's good to know." He said with a nod, reassuring her that he was a friendly... At least for her. Then he turned back to Elody for a moment, a small brow raised. "Oh, so THAT'S your name?" He asked. It WAS her! That same girl he had met on the rooftops, before they both ran away from enforcement. X was just the name that he gave her. At least she didn't see any part of his face. Sure they were the same height, but that could be merely coincidence, not to mention the suit covered his body shaped that was fitted so perfectly by the armor her wore.
"Hello, I couldn't help notice you staring at me."
... Shit.
He turned to Elody and Kin, giving a small smile. "Excuse me ladies." He said in a calm tone. He turned around to find that blonde girl from before. He gave a bow in return, doing his best to be polite. A small smile tugged at his lips, more of a mask than the actual one on his face. "Sorry about that, I just couldn't but get a familiar vibe from looking at you." He said, before looking up to the rather unnerving man next to her. Boyfriend perhaps? A bodyguard maybe? "No offense sir." He said to him before looking back to the Lady of Luminosity. "I'm Sam, you are?" He asked, putting a hand out for her to shake..

"It's nice to meet you both," she nodded, her mouth moved to repeat the names silently almost as if to aid her memorization. Though she doubted she needed to remember who they were by the time this night was over, it never hurt to put in some effort. Kin did, however, start when the brunette almost seemed to (in her eyes) lurch forward as if to take both plate and food. She grimaced lightly, resisting the urge to bare her teeth. Though the Ionian was not barbaric by nature, years of training with the Shadow Order had taught her to be very territorial. There was no point in keeping something if someone was just going to come along and snatch it right away.
"No, it's alright," Kin managed to respond, her body tight as she attempted to maintain some semblance of cordiality. "I'm quite talented when it comes to balancing things," the laugh that emerged from her lips could only be described as short as she peered at Elody. "Would you, er... like some...?"

Elody backed off, a smile still spread on her face. "Fine by me. Just don't want you hurting yourself. And thanks for the offer, but no, I'm not hungry." She waved her off slightly. "But it's nice to meet ya too. You in town long? Don't look to be from it." She adopted a casual stance.

Kevin turned and looked around, not identifying Lux in the crowd. "Lux? At my party? Where is she? Are you sure its her?" Turning to Razie he continued. "I didn't think i was popular enough for a champion to show up, especially Lux considering how long it must have taken..."
