Morgana smiled as Marcy looked at the display of sweets. She looked so much like a child and she couldn't help but give a rare wide grin. Marcus loved his sweets just as much it seemed but she thought he tried to act more manly and responsible. They quickly gave there requests and Morgana started to take the sweets out of the display and prepared to put them in a box for them.
She suddenly stopped what she was doing when Marcy asked her to visit them for dinner. They had been friends for awhile but the topic of dinner had always been one that made Morgana a little uncomfortable. There was always the question of what would be on the menu and if she herself would wind up there somehow. She trusted the siblings but they were vampires so it always made her feel a little awkward. Marcus's words made her laugh on the inside and made her feel a little more comfortable about it knowing he was just playing with her.
"I would love to but I am afraid I have several errands I must do tomorrow evening. Perhaps another evening?" She felt bad about denying her friend but she did in fact have several things to do tomorrow night.
She laughed at Marcus's comment about not visiting her and just coming for the sweets. "Here I thought you loved me Marcus. You have gone and broken my little heart into thousands of jagged shards. I shall never be the same."
