Slowly, Teo crawls forward and squints at a circular, red piece of metal. The only thing he'd ever seen similar to one of these was in the shower room during the music festival back in Bandle, but it was enough for him to guess what the valve might do. He grips it tightly with both hands, grunting as he turns with all his strength. Eventually, after an agonizing minute of slow turning, the yordle feels a small clank and is unable to move the valve any further.
The water quickly drained out of the pit as fast as it had appeared. A panel of the wall slid open, revealing a long corridor. Shaco's voice came crackling through the speaker.
"Good. Now that I know you can work together well, I will actually challenge you! That was only an icebreaker, after all..." A faint laughing sound can be heard down the corridor. "Now, come on...the gauntlet awaits..."

Fiora got slightly annoyed upon hearing the Jesters voice. She silently swore he would pay for doing this to her after she got out of his little game. As Teo turned the valve, the water quickly rushed out and a entrance to the rest of the gauntlet appeared. She strode forward towards the hallway and stopped near the door.
"Bein?...(Well?) Are v'ou gentlemen coming or not?"
She asked in a resigned tone. She turned her head back towards the corridor, staring into the darkness which seemed to stare back mockingly. Fiora glared into it as if ready to confront whatever would lie ahead.
Teo crawls back to the edge of the small inlet, speaking as he pokes his head out to inspect the room.
"Did...did that work?"
When Fiora speaks, he inches forward a little. His fingers dangle over the edge, and the yordle leans forward a little, not paying attention. If he leans a bit too much he'll be in for a long fall.

Andrei looked around the room as the water began disappearing, he turned his head to Fiora as she spoke then to Teo, noticing leaning a bit too much. He puts out his arms and catches him.
"Hey kiddo, make sure you look before you crawl." he said and put him down on the ground. He turned his head again to Fiora, "Aight, let's go, I call dibs on stabbing that fucker first."
The corridor forks after a short distance, leading down two very distinct paths. To the right, an eerie red glow originates from the hallway, although it is too far away to discern what the source of the light is. To the left, a deep thundering sound can be heard, and a faint rumble can be felt at the party's feet.
"Oh, how silly of me...there was one more who was supposed to join you on your adventure." It seems as though Shaco has set up speakers almost everywhere within the dungeon. "Let me just transport him here right now..."
A panel slid back in the wall to the group's left. It was dark and cramped, but there was a noticeable incline to the shaft, leading upwards. A few moments later grunting and scraping could be heard, and the quick rustling of something moving towards them.
A figure spilled out of the hole into a crumpled heap on the floor just before the group. It was roughly the size of a man, but more minute details were hard to come by. The figure was wrapped in equal parts shadow and crimson.
The shadows clung to the figure like the thick mist of a morning fog, and the crimson was noticeably a leathery fabric used as both a hooded cape and garments. Armor was also clad to the figure, wrist guards, chainmail vest, shoulder guards and thick leather boots.
The figure didn't move from where it had landed, but upon closer inspection for the more brave, they would find that he looked like a natural man under the light, alive and breathing. It would be a good guess to assume that Shaco had drugged this man as well.
Teo had been skittishly walking beside Andrei down then corridor for not much time when the voice returns. He jumps a little and presses against the man's leg initially, but quickly wraps his arms around himself and steps back, shivering. The panel opens behind the yordle and Teo tenses with fear. The bard soon realizes though that there is no movement coming from whatever is behind him, and he turns around to see the creature.
Cautiously, the little yordle steps towards the limp figure. When he gets fairly close his ears can pick up the sound of faint breathing. A little closer still and Teo can make out some clothing. These little discoveries make him worry a bit more for the figure, if it were indeed a member of their party. The yordle gets onto his hands and knees and crawls up next to Balmung, using his flute to nudge the man's shoulder guards from a safe distance and leaning in a little to sniff around him a little.

Andrei looked around the corridors as they walked, trying to see if there was any hidden traps. He noticed the little yordle stuck close to him, he didn't say anything and kept walking. As soon as the voice came from some speakers he didn't notice he stopped and activated his blade. "YOU LITTLE SON OF A BITCH COME DOWN HERE NOW!" he yelled after the voice disappeared.
He turns around as he notices a panel sliding behind him, he turns around and sees someone there, he points his blade towards him, "Hey Kiddo, he awake?"

Fiora was about to head down the corridor but the jesters voice rang out and foretold yet another companion. Although she would have preferred to journey without another, her attention was captured by the prospect of another companion. As the newest member fell to the ground, she loosely turned her attention to him.
"Mais oui.(But of course.) Leav'e it to ze Je'st'er to think up such 'a thing." She muttered shaking her head.
There were a few minutes of silence as the figure lay unmoving, but slowly the man came to life. Groggy and sluggish, Balmung awoke. He was on the hard floor in a cramped hallway. He rose to his knees, still unaware of his surroundings, confused. The last thing he could remember... he was on the road, traveling to another undetermined location. He must have been abducted somehow... but why?
Balmung clinched his fist as he thought of the many harms he wished to inflict on his captor. It wasn't until he heard shuffling that he took notice of his surroundings. There were three others with him in the hallway. A rather attractive woman clad in some minor armors, a man... that didn't exactly look like a man. His face looked mechanical in nature, and beside him, clinging his leg, was a small creature that Balmung somehow knew was called a yordle.
Balmung had not yet met one personally in his adventures, which led to believe it was an old memory of Serren's bleeding through. Their attention was on him, and although he felt threatened, he didn't think the danger was from them.
He had but a simple question to ask the three. "Where am I?"

He looked at Fiora when she spoke then turned his head to the person or the thing on the ground as it moved. He crouched and took a closer look at him, still his blade in his hand. When he heard him speak he realized it wasn't a thing, it was someone.
He stood up again and put out his arms like a television host, "Welcome! To the Jester's Gauntlet, where some son of a bicht drugged us and almost drowned us, my name is Mask, we have kiddo and pretty face with us, now tell me, who the fuck are you?" He asked after the brief introduction.
Teo, startled, backs away from Balmung a bit when he moves and speaks. He holds his flute close and eyes the new man cautiously. Would he be dangerous, or helpful? Either way he was in the same situation as the others, so they would have to work together.
"U-um... hi. My name is Teo. But... I... don't really know where we are..."
The yordle's ears fold back and he glances around, fearful of what may be coming next.

Fiora was still standing near the door way and made no move towards their newest companion. When he stirred, she waited for the others to make their introductions before making hers. "Je suis Fiora, Fiora Laurent. Zis is "un jeu", a game, of ze Jesters."
After the party introduced themselves, Shaco's voice began to tease once more. A yawn crackled through the speakers. "Booooooooring! Come on guys! Hurry it up! That was heartfelt and all, but I only have so much time in the day..."
