Daichi only made things worse as he challenged Irelia's orders. One could see in her eyes the flames of the rage that boiled deep down within her heart, consuming her iris as it shrunk and left nothing but a few colors and a dark dot lying in her eyes. The Captain took a step towards him, smashing the ground underneath her as she continued to glare at him with her piercing gaze.
She allowed a few moment of icy silence reign in the atmosphere, not saying a single word as she kept on challenging him with her eyes that reflected the state of her soul and heart. The rain tapped on the muddy ground, rising the suspense of the moment while her lips remained sealed. After a moment, she finally spoke, but only a few words slipped out of her throat.

Daichi starred back, ever defiant and headstrong. "I will do no such thing." Daichi crossed his arms with a very deep frown that grew deeper by the second.
She was being irrational, this was not the Irelia he knew and thought well of. Something had come over her and he wasn't quite sure what.

It was it, Daichi has crossed the line and Irelia's fury erupted from her heart. Her blades let out multiple steel growls that echoed around in the empty plain of the ravaged village as they pointed towards Daichi, threatening his life as he remained stubborn. She was furious, angry, eyes full of rage as they glared deep down into Daichi's orbs. If she has to kill him, then be it, one does not simply decide what to do with the past of Irelia, and whether they have to bury the people of her village or not.
She was the last of them, the only one left, and she would not allow any stranger to decide what to do with them. Not even her friends, her allies would be allowed such thing. The voice that slipped out of her lips was filled with rage and hatred, showing Daichi the thirst for vengeance that lied deep inside her heart and all of the rage she has kept hidden ever since the massacre.
"You... have one more chance to leave Daichi... Just one, not even more, not even less. "

"You're turning your blades on me Irelia. You are not thinking clearly." He insisted. Would she really strike him down over this? Ionia wouldn't stand for something like this unless she intended to sweep him under the rug or blame Noxus for his demise.
"Just calm down and take a few deep breaths. This isn't worth killing me over." Fear seeped into his eyes, the thought of her striking down an ally was frightening.

"My thoughts, are clear Daichi. No one, and I mean no one alive would be allowed to decide what to do with my village! But you.... You trespassed that line, and I'm giving you a chance to turn your back, walk away, and leave this place be."
She said as her tone's aggressiveness slightly decreased, although the hate kept flowing out of her lips with every word. He was backing off, which was a good start for himself. Irelia did not want to come to this point, but his stubbornness irritated her to no end and it was simply insulting.

This was not a situation Jon was accustomed to dealing with, in spite of all of his life suggesting otherwise.
He had seen arguments heat up, tempers flare, relations temporarily frozen as emotions took over, but this. This was something else entirely.
As the discussion turned into an argument and only worsened, Jon could only stand a bit back, offering neither resolution nor fuel to the debate.
The threat of violence over such a thing as a temporary loss of respect, however, convinced him that it was time to intervene.
"*Ahem*... Daichi, I believe you owe Irelia here an apology. While you may have good intentions, it is clear you're only aggravating the situation."
"Irelia, while this is only just my humble opinion, I can only but wonder: if Noxus were truly devious, surely they would have tried something more... blatant, by now? Especially as they are no longer part of the league."
With that, he fell silent once more, not sure how either would receive his intervention.
"There's only one thing that I know for sure is true: 'Truth is relative.'" -Jon
"What side you're on isn't of concern to me. What is of concern is that you're hurt, and I need to treat you for it." -Jon
"Contrary to what some believe, violence does not solve everything. In fact, it solves nothing." -Jon

Silence fell over the young man and then he bowed deeply to her.
"...I was out of line. My sincerest apologies to you Irelia. I will do my best to never upset you so greatly. If you desire it still, I shall leave but if you permit me to stay I will say nothing more of the discussion. I can only hope you find it in your heart to forgive me."
Daichi accepted the fact he had crossed the line, however he was still largely put off by the fact that Irelia was willing to gut him.

Her eyes continued to glare at Daichi as he apologized and backed off, though her rage slowly faded away from the mirrors of her soul as the flames that shrouded her heart were siphoned away. Her blades hovered by her side as she ordered them to hold back.
As the rain kept washing the ravaged plains of the old Nightblade village, Irelia looked away from Daichi, her eyes focusing on the picture she found earlier under the burnt debris. She carefully picked it up with her soaked hands as she knelt down and tightly held it against her chest. The Captain darted one last glare at Daichi before pulling herself up and leaving the desolated scene, her mind clouded by her will to avenge the fallen and all of the innocent people who fell victim during the war. Noxus may be gaining power, but Irelia hasn't said her last words.

Silence and then she stood and left. She was willing to kill over this slight, Daichi feared the worst of what would of come. The tensions were going to strain and break any day now and he could only sit and watch.
He rose and watched her leave in solemn silence. War was coming, whether by her hand or someone else's.
