In the late morning with the trees swaying lightly in the wind and the sun shimmering down through the outstretching branches of it, a sole monkey would lay in its shadow. The sound of the birds spread wildly around them, with small critters skittering about in search of food. Nothing seemed to disturb the Monkey King as he snoozed seemingly endlessly.
A single bird fluttered atop his shoulder as he lay curled up on his side, and began to peck at his fur, picking out little ants that had crawled into the deep brown that covered him. However as it chirped loudly, the monkey's eyes shot open - completely blood shot, wide, with shrinking pupils.
Wukong slapped at the bird, sending it frantically fluttering away from him before his hands reached up to cup around his ears. "Ugh.." He groaned as he curled up a bit tighter, suddenly shouting at the top of his lungs, sending a wave of his voice outward for an unexpected distance.
"QUIET!!"
Everything fell silent as the creatures of the forest scattered at the disturbed monkey's shout. He'd roll, facing the trunk of the tree before slowly sitting upright. ". . .ugh.." He groaned, cupping his head. The world swaying with a small hiss of pain from the primate.
"..feel.... sick.." He crawled towards the tree, and slowly began to dig a small hole near the roots looking increasingly ill with each scoop of dirt. A choking sound touched the air as the poor creature learned just how bad a first hangover could get, emptying what little of his stomach had been filled. The idea of eating was a brutal one, and caused him nothing but discomfort and pain.
After he purged his stomach, he slowly buried the bile beneath the dirt and dizzily climbed to his feet. His staff was right beside him, catching him as he staggered a bit, pinching his eyes to tiny squints before slowly, grudgingly taking his first step back towards the temple.
"M-Master Yi.." He groaned, ". . .where.. are you, Master? I - I don't feel good.."

Wukong's shout startled Corellia awake with a start, she bolted upright from her place next to the fire as it smouldered. She had a worried expression at first, only to notice Wukong crawling to a tree. She frowned as she watched him dig, only to try not to laugh as he emptied his stomach. She felt sorry for the poor Monkey King, it was her fault he had gotten so drunk, she had given him a whole bottle of sake after all.
She stood slowly, unlike Wukong, she had no hangover but did not want to cause to many loud noises. Cordellia tilted her head to the side as he attempted to make his way to the temple, she would quickly scoop up the pack and follow him, eventually making it to his side with a small smile of pity, "First hang over?" She asked with an amused look upon her face.
The look Cordellia got when she asked him that, was pretty unlike the monkey. His eyes were wide initially, bringing out the deep bags beneath them. The whites were practically consumed in deep pinks and reds, blood shot with a ring of red around the vibrant green irises. His lips seemed slightly chapped, and turned in an unsettling frown. A look that someone would expect of a murderous monster who'd been kept awake all night by things they'd rather kill then listen to.
That is until his eyes squinted shut again, and his lips tugged into a deeper frown. He'd stare at Cordellia for a moment, before trying his darndest to find that cheeky smile. But every attempt seemed to fall short, and he'd just start walking again, "Master.." He said weakly, "..the human woman made me sick... I don't like being sick.. Why is she so mean to the Monkey King?"
He sounded so pitiful. He really did. He didn't care though. All he wanted was not to feel so disgusting anymore. The idea of sake alone made him dart off the path to dry heave over some bushes. His tail curled up against his leg as his grip tightened against the bark of the tree, breaking it behind the amount of strength the simian had.

Cordellia backed off at the initial look he gave her, her heart skipping a beat as she did so. Her amused smile was wiped from her face in an instant and replaced by one of worry, scared that he would actually hate her for this. She sighed softly and listened to him speak quietly and rather pathetically to Master Yi, who was in fact no where near as far as Cordellia knew.
Watching as he heaved over a bush, she moved to gently place a hand upon his back in an attempt at comforting him, if he looked at her like he did earlier she would simply back off. If not, she would stay with him and attempt to comfort the poor monkey king.
Wukong remained leaned over a moment, feeling his body ache all over. Nothing in the world had ever felt this awful for the poor creature. He'd have fought the entirety of the Shadow Isles over feeling like this. Wu spit a couple of times, trembling as he used the tree to remain standing.
Feeling the soft touch on his back, Wu slowly turned to look at Cordellia. His eyes half-shut, his breathing a bit heavy as he remained hunched over and simply wrapped his arms around her, burying his face against her shoulder. He'd remain there a moment, but slowly pulled himself away as he pathetically dragged his staff behind him. His tail leaving a trail beside it as it rested upon the ground. He must really be feeling pretty bad. Nothing got the monkey down. Ever!
Except clearly a hangover. He tried to straighten and be jovial and enjoy life. But every attempt left him with a worst headache, and the sensation of nausea overwhelming him.

Cordellia wrapped her arms around the monkey as he hugged her, allowing him to pull away when he wanted to. She walked a few steps behind him, a worried expression upon her features as she thought about what Master Yi's reaction would be to the state of his pupil. Paranoia made her worried that he might simply turn her away and not allow her to train in Wuju because of what she done was irresponsible. She followed Wukong in silence, not wanting to talk so that she didn't irritate his headache further. She felt awful for allowing him to get so drunk, it was just supposed to be a way to relax...
A long period of walking would make their travel seem far longer then it was. But in truth - Wu was just slowed by how bad he felt. He kept trying to bring his chipper self back, but it was a daunting task. He wasn't mad, or angry, he just felt really sick. He'd stumble his way forward, the staff having lifted itself and wrapped over his shoulder so not to drag in the dirt behind the hung over simian.
As they would reach the dojo, he stepped in and quietly moved to a darker corner to curl up, shielding his eyes from any light that might strike him. His gaze settled on Cordellia a moment. A faint smile offered having noticed the worry in her gaze. He didn't want her to feel bad.. Yi did say neither drank. He should have listened.

It was a fine day. Master Yi had been outside, taking a walk and enjoying nature, unaware of what his apprentice was going through. He was musing over what methods would be best to teach Cordellia as he did so. This raised the question of where she and Wukong were. Hopefully they had not gotten into any sort of trouble. They were probably fine, still, he wondered what they were up to.
The door to the dojo opened once more and Master Yi strode in, he noticed Wukong, curled up in the corner miserably. It was not hard to guess what had happened. He gave a disappointed sigh. There was no doubt Cordellia was behind it. He was not angry, there was no need for that, in fact, it was somewhat amusing. Wukong had certainly learned why it is best to avoid alcohol. He didn't say anything, since Wukong didn't exactly seem to be in the condition for conversation.

Cordellia entered the Dojo having been outside giving the poor monkey some space, she felt awful for what she had done to him on accident. She stood with her hands behind her back, on arm clasped the other. She was clearly nervous, but the anxious look on her face faded as she saw Master Yi was not angry. Cordellia glanced at Wukong in the corner, "I'm sorry Master Yi..." She croaked, still feeling awful about the whole thing, "I didn't realize how badly it would affect him. We were just relaxing at the hot-springs and got carried away with the sake."
Wukong groaned again as he curled up a bit tighter in the corner. His head buried in the crevice, trying to hide from the light. "Master.." The monkey whined. He'd never felt this sick before. Ever. His arms curled about his head with an trembling breath, before he'd roll over and slowly climb to his feet. His baggy eyes practically closed, staggering his way towards Yi.
As he got to Yi, he'd drop to his knees, "...make it stop, Master.." he begged, looking all the more ill as time went by. Surely Yi had a remedy of some kind for the poor creature!

Even though it was somewhat amusing to see Wukong in this state, Yi did pity him Though he had warned Wukong against drinking alcohol before, it would seem he had to try it at least once. "There is not much I can do to help here. You are currently having what we call a hangover, it happens the day after you drink too much alcohol. It will go away in time, but the best thing you can do right now is drink and eat, but not too much. Just... find the most comfortable place to rest that you can and I'll bring you something." He really did look awful. Just how much booze had Cordellia given him?

Cordellia moved past Master Yi toward Wukong, a downcast expression on her face as she done so. She felt horrible for making the poor Monkey king feel like trash because of the sake she had given him to drink. She knelt beside him and placed an arm gently around Wukong, "I'm sorry Wukong, I didn't mean for this to happen.."
When Cordellia knelt beside him and placed an arm around him, he'd lean in against her, groaning at the dull ache of the headache. He'd wrap his arms around her, fur pressing to her clothing as he was still shirtless. His eyes closed, feeling a wave of dizziness hit him.
"My monkeys would know.." He commented, "..they're.. so smart." Opening his eyes just a hint to look up at Yi. The idea of food was almost as sickening as the hangover itself. The thought alone made his stomach groan with discomfort. He'd cough a bit, and slowly rolled onto his side. If Cordellia still had her arms around him, he'd bring her with him, just curling into a ball in front of Yi.
A small burp escaped, and he'd seem a little less sick. He'd pull away from Cordellia and crawl his way towards the kitchen, using what he could to force himself to stand before carefully getting some fresh water to drink. He wouldn't move from the faucet, leaning against the edge with his head hung and his gaze distantly staring towards the floor.

Master Yi watched Wukong make his way to the sink. He quietly walked away to go get the monkey some food. Nothing particularly strong, just some crackers and bread. He was a bit worried about his apprentice. He knew that there wasn't much one could do to help humans who were having a hangover, or were drunk, but it was rarely ever dangerous. He wasn't entirely sure if it was the same for Wukong, and hoped it would be. Yi would be gone for a short time while he retrieved some food.

Cordellia watched as Wukong crawled away from her, feeling sorry for the poor monkey as he dealt with his first hangover. She was somewhat amused by his reaction to the hangover, she remembered hers, the symptoms were the same but she just stayed in bed, her caregiver walking in every so often to give her shit for not being able to handle her drink and remind her it was a stupid idea. Though, she felt sooooo much better when she had eaten and ended up hurling the food a while later. She wondered if Wukong's would be the same...
Cordellia picked herself up and stood off to the side, unsure as to what she should do.
