"Being angry is easier when focused on your rage. Not everything is harder." she stated as a somewhat morbid joke, though she had smiled she was still trying to find away to suppress the irritation she felt. The small peaches in her mind, glowed a soft white. The faces of her slain enemies gone, the rage faded along with it. But the frustration, was still there, she felt she had to protect those she loved. She had to become strong enough so that those around her would not need to risk their lives. She could shoulder the burden and allow them to live in peace. She knew it would eventually kill her, but it was better that the many be protected and live longer in exchange for her own life. Frustration that the world had come to this and there was nothing she could do to change it seared into her mind.
"I see it as a way to get stronger. I don't know if it's a weapon of peace or war, or a weapon at all, an art, a philosophy. It could be all those things. I see it as a way to help me achieve my goal, to help me become strong enough so that those who stand behind me won't suffer from the actions of others."
The blade didn't move save for a slight twitch, a single shard broke away from the side of the blade an floated to eye level, though she could not see, Cordellia sent the shard tearing through the air toward one of the small orbs of light she saw in her mind. The shard tore through the air, slicing the air apart as it moved...
Wukong listened to her with his eyes closing again, "A wise man once said 'Anger is a path to hardship. But harder still is knowing when to find peace." He let out a small sigh as he relaxed beside her, the staff clutched in the hand closest to Cordellia being used somewhat to help him remain balanced. He was observing her to see how she did. "I understand your need to protect others, Cordellia. But you must first help yourself before you can truly begin to help others. Let it go. There is much light in the abyss humans have placed themselves in."
"Breath." He said, opening an eye as he watched the blade, "Relax. Just.. let it go." His voice soothing, and calm, taking on a very zen-like nature. It was perhaps the calmest she would ever hear Wukong be.
As the shard raced towards the peach, he watched as it sliced just the top of the peach, sending it falling to one of his waiting clones. A soft chuckle escaped, "Better. You still cut the top off though." He stood, resting his hand atop her shoulder, "We all have something worth protecting in life. Don't let the past fog your future."
"Again." He said with a nod towards the tree, indicating he wanted her to try again.

Cordellia listened to him, with a nod she inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly, trying to make herself relax. Just let go? She tried to clear her mind of all the thoughts other than the small lights that were the peaches. She remained completely still as she breathed slowly. The blindfold around her eyes had made it so she couldn't see, she wasn't even sure she was picturing the peaches in the right place. Judging from apparently how close she had gotten last time, she was fairly close.
She tried to release the pent up frustration, releasing her grip on it as she heard the soothing voice of Wukong beside her. Back in Demacia, soldiers would fight out in the sparing pits if they were frustrated, release the pent up anger in a clash of steel. But that only ever suppressed it, it was always still there, still boiling beneath the surface. But here, in the peacefulness of Ionia, Cordellia could feel herself beginning to actually relax.
A simple twitch of the sword was all that indicated she fired another shard toward the peach, most would have missed the movement, but no doubt Wukong was observant enough to notice.
Wukong saw the small twitch and smiled as he observed the shard race towards another peach. This time, it was spot on. The peach would fall, and Wukong's clone would catch it. With that, a small nod came, "Again." Not telling her the result, though he was smiling out of her view.
"Two shards this time." He added as he started to pace a bit, eating the peach she had cleanly cut from the tree. He was curious to see how well she might do, and how much energy the calm saved her vs. using rage to control the shards. He'd be observing her closely.

Cordellia didn't know if she had hit or not, when he told her to use two shards she nodded. Two shards broke from the sword, slowly floating upward, stopping as the hovered in the air, on in front of either of her shoulders. She pictured the peaches in her mind, having released the anger and frustration in her mind thanks to Wukong, she could feel the energy required wasn't so violent and wasn't ripping energy from her form.
She smiled at the strange feeling of calm while using her ability without feeling like somewhat was dragging hooks through her. She cleared her mind, focusing more intently on the small lights... A simple twitch of the sword, and the small glowing shards sliced toward the peaches leaving a small thin trail of parallel white lines behind them.
Wukong watched as one shard would clear the stem and drop the peach with absolute ease. However the other would go clean through the peach leaving a shard-sized hole in it. His brow furrowed lightly, before laughing a bit, "Almost." He said, "Try again."
Now he was pacing around her, watching her but always remaining at her back. He wanted to be something of a distraction to her to force her focus more readily while being ever aware of her surroundings. A clone split off, moving in front of her. She would be aware Wukong had stepped in front of her, but not know if it was real or not as the one behind her grew still and silent. Quietly they'd wait, seeing if Cordellia might hit the clone or sense him enough to move the shards around him towards the peaches.

Cordellia frowned slightly as she heard him tell her to try again. Two lights faded from her mind, the two peaches she had just aimed at and was unsure if she had hit or not. With a nod, the two shards she fired gently floated back to their positions in front of her shoulders, one before each shoulder. She began to focus upon the lights in her mind once more, 'don't let the past fog your future.' thought to herself while she focused, though she stopped as she felt him move in front of her... She couldn't tell just how close he was, was this a test to? Was it really him or just a clone? Better safe than sorry.
The shard on her left shoulder shot out sharply on a diagonal direction outward away from her body while moving forward, while the shard on her right done the same, but shot out right instead of left. Both shards the fired toward the peach tree, aiming to free the small lights Cordellia had pictured in her mind in place of the peaches. Free the light from the darkness.
