Riven did not respond as she thought over the comments made by Sivir. She didn't know how much the people of Noxus adored her, or hated her. All she knew was that she was counted as an exile, a traitor for her actions in Ionia. She abandoned her post, was thought dead, and wandered for years looking for answers she could not come by easily.
Now, she would have to face her homeland in a way she had never attempted before, going against the grain, rather than with it. It was easy to do such a thing on the fields where she fought hard. But, the political arena was something she had never dealt with before, and the challenge it presented was truly enormous.
She sighed and sat back down on her bedroll. "Hero or not, all that matters is having our people see the terrible things in store for them if they continue to follow the Grand General." She slipped under the thick furs and attempted to find a comfortable position. "I don't know how I'll do it, but it must be done... That much is certain..."
Sivir simply remained silent, but nodded in agreement. She then cut off a piece of wolf meat and began to slowly cook it over the fire. Her thoughts were.. troubling her.. but she did not show it through any of her feature.. a mastered skill a mercenary needs.

"Well, all that I know, is I think Sivir is right here, Riven." Astrid finally spoke up, stretching her arms up and groaning. It was growing later, but the smell of the roasting wolfs meat managed to keep her up now.
"In Noxus, a lot of younger soldiers... like myself, did see you as a hero... and even afterwards, with you against Swain... I think a lot would rise up to support you." She shrugged. "That's my thoughts on it at least."
"I just hope that I can aid you two somehow... Haha. I certainly, didn't expect to be working with my two biggest idols." She grinned, at Riven, then Sivir. Her blue eyes seeming to gleam in the light of the fire.
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."
"I just hope we can make a difference without resorting to the need for more violence and bloodshed..." Riven sighed and rolled over, closing her eyes to try and get some sleep. She had a long day ahead...
Sivir glanced over at Astrid, blue eyes meeting blue eyes. She didn't exactly know the woman.. and she didn't know why she looked up to Sivir.. that's the last thing the Battlemistress heard about her.. than someone actually looked up to her. The woman was just as beautiful as Sivir, her ferljordian features a little more dominate.
Sivir simply nodded in silent agreement before turning her attention back to the wolf meat she was cooking, eying it before taking a bite, and sticking it back in the fire.. a few more minuets, and it would be finished.
Sivir's foot steps echoed in the sand as she had followed Riven from Noxus.. her sapphire eyes flickered to the sky for a moment before they rested on the warrior in front of her. Sivir hefted her massive cross blade up on her shoulder, furrowing her brow in thought.. "Indeed.. this isn't over.. but the Exile has came out on top this day.. that much is clear, her influence has done more than enough to claim this day as a victory.. but of course Swain realizes that." she simply thought to herself.
More importantly.. what were they going to do from here? Sivir could no longer return to her estate in Noxus.. and she didn't very much care too, seeing as she owned property throughout the entirety of Valoran.. they could certainty use it has a hold out, and if they were charged upon.. could easily relocate. Not many curve balls were thrown at the Battlemistress during her time with Riven in Noxus.. though she was surprised at one thing
She did not have to fight her way out. For the time being, she had been walking a few steps behind Riven, mostly to collect, and roll over in her head her own thought's at least for a while. But now, she quickened her pace, catching up to the Exile and walking along side her, keeping her eyes forward into the dark veil of night. "So, how do you feel?" Sivir asked, she couldn't help but feel the two were similar in a way, as they both left Noxus at one point.. though for different reasons. Though, it was strange that now the two were leaving at the same time. At least, to Sivir it seemed to be, fate had a funny way of working..
Shaco was following right behind Sivir. He was debating whether or not to reveal that Swain had released Renekton. Out here, it would be much safer, and no member of the group would let this secret out until the time was right. However, if they failed, Leblanc would have his head on a silver platter. Probably literally, too.
Shaco shuddered, not electing to say anything at the moment. As Sivir hustled to catch up with Riven, he did not quicken his pace. He would catch up to them eventually, but for now he needed time to think.

Adeptis had shown himself within the crowd, and decided to follow Sivir since he would no doubtly be recognised now. He would introduce himself later, for now he would just keep quiet until adressed to.

"I'm not sure how I feel, really." Riven spoke as she hefted her sword, the full size of the weapon dissipating in a pulse of green light and energy, leaving the typical remnant behind. She left loose a sigh as she lifted the weapon to the sky, admiring the cracks along the inner surfaces silhouetted against the setting sun. "I suppose I should feel accomplished." She dropped the sword from the red and orange backdrop and looked to Sivir. "Few people could walk into Noxus and openly defy Jericho Swain, only to walk out unscathed. And even less could have done so after speaking of such change."
Riven sighed a long sigh and set to work dumping a few logs into the fire pit from the night before, taking them from the pile she had constructed previously. She reached into her pocket and pulled free a small vial of something. She then shook it a few times to mix the two fluids within it before it began to glow red, then orange, then white, and Riven tossed it into the center of the pit. Soon after, a faint shattering sound was heard, and flames engulfed the logs. "Something we used to use to start fires in the military... It was my last one, and I was saving it for a special occasion."
"I suppose this is enough to count as one, for better or for worse." Riven took a seat near the fire, pulling a whetstone from her person and began to drag it along the blade of her sword. She used the firelight to find any nicks and imperfections in the blade, and set to work honing them away to keep the edge keen and sharp. She paused in the activity for a moment to glance to those that had followed her.
"Take a seat, warm yourselves. It gets down to freezing out here at night, and we've much to discuss..."
Shaco flashed a brief smile at Adeptis's comment, but then changed back into a neutral expression. The flames of the campfire were reflected in his eyes. He began to sharpen his shivs on a nearby stone.
"I have some important information I may be willing to share with you." Shaco finally spoke, still very engrossed in the sharpening of his weapons. "If I tell you this piece of information, it must not leave this campsite until the time is right."
Shaco tossed the stone to the ground, satisfied with the state of his shivs, then looked at Riven. "It will help our cause greatly, but we must be very careful not to use it in the wrong way."

After the incident on Main Street, Rose heads first to her apartment, then to the Deadlands, after Sivir, Riven, and the rest who had stood with them. She's never been this far away from the city before; the only traveling she's done has been to Zaun, with her parents. A bag strap sits on her shoulder, and she's bundled in a coat and scarf against the cold.
When she arrives to find Shaco sharpening his shivs, she looks a little apprehensive, but, remembering what he'd said during the stand-off, she relaxes a little.

"Ah... may I join you here, or would you have me not know the information?" the student asks, shuffling a deck of cards from one hand to the other.
Shaco turned to the newcomer, then stroked his chin in thought. After a bit of thinking time, he replied "I suppose so. If you followed us all the way out here, you must have some considerable dedication for Riven and our cause. As long as you don't say anything about this until the time is right, I shall allow it." Shaco looked at the others. "Do I have everyone else's word on this?"

"Of course," answers the young woman quickly, dropping the deck of cards into a coat pocket. She looks a little awkward for a moment, and seems uncertain where to place herself before sitting cross-legged on the ground, across the fire from Riven.
