"And, with all due respect, I don't believe many would tend to trust a trickster such as yourself if you were to make such claims." Riven sighed. She was still curious as to Shaco's strange personality shift. He'd always been the trickster assassin, playing jokes on others that turned out deadly. It didn't sit well with her that he suddenly seemed so...noble.
"If I may, Jester...why are you here?" Riven turned to face him, raising a brow. "What does helping our cause possibly gain you, other than possibly my trust or the trust of others?" She crossed her arms. "You're an assassin, one who plays games and enjoys his work, finding humor in death and chaos." Her head tilted ever so slightly to the side. "I do not mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but something here does not add up with your personality on the fields..."

Astrid turned to see Sivir walking up to her. "Sivir...? Why are you out here...?" She asked, as her arms remained wrapped around the little cub.
"Yes, I'm fine... I just... got into a little spat with this one's mother and well... it didn't end as I would have liked. SO I've decided to take it with me." She said, looking down at the bear. "How long have i been gone anyways...?" She asked, realizing she had no idea how late it was.
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."
Sivir blinked at the little bear cub.. then she looked at the dead big bear and shook her head "You haven't been gone too long.. I thought you had gotten into trouble." Sivir replied, scratching the back of her head as she looked between Astrid and the dead bear

"I suppose you could say that..." Astrid said, standing from the rock and keeping putting the bear down beside her.
She walked over to Sivir and placed a hand upon the Battle Mistress' shoulder and nodded. "Thanks for worrying." She said quickly, then moved to retrieve her poleax. The small bear cub seemed to follow her every step.
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."
Sivir's muscles tensed as the other woman touched her.. it was strange to Sivir, she was not used to being touched outside of battle. But, she allowed it, letting her crystal eyes follow Astrid as she left, the bear cub following her as she walked away. Sivir then hefted the giant cross blade from her back and began to follow her, shaking her head slightly
The Jester's signature smile flickered back to his face. "Yes, of course. You seem to know my personality well." Shaco chuckled. "In all honesty, though, I am in this with the rest of you because I don't want to be ruled by a tyrant."
Shaco glanced at the fire, then back to Riven. "If I learned anything from Renekton being released from the Institute, it's that Noxus has something big planned. And I am not sure about you, but I would not want to be on the bottom of that boot..."
Riven still didn't trust the clowny assassin. He was simply not the type in the slightest to be as honorable as he was letting on. He had just admitted to trying to find her weakness as well, and dealing with LeBlanc. Even if he was not acting on that initiative presently, the fact that he had taken the woman up on the offer didn't exactly make Riven trust him. She'd keep a close watch on the jester until he proved beyond a doubt he was worthy of her trust.
"I suppose that will have to be good enough for now." Riven sighed and looked around at the other people sitting around the fire. "So, what do the rest of you have to offer as far as information or expertise?" She glanced to the champions among them. "Excluding those I already know."

Well, guess I'll start off. My name is Lune, Adeptis Lune. I'm a... battlemage, I guess. I've been in service for a while, and specialize in electromancy and channeling spells through the constraints of armor, given enough time. I was going to warn you about Swain and Vladimir when I returned to pick up my armor, but you people already found out.

Rose raises an eyebrow in slight surprise- she's never heard of an armored mage, though the concept interests her, given the armored corset she near-constantly wears.
No kidding, we found out... they effectively crushed the rebellion in a lot of the crowd with that little- demonstration.
"Ah- my name's Rose Sonder, but just Rose will do." She looks at the rope in her hands, and begins to unravel it. "I'm studying magic on my own time, but I'm not very good at controlling the power I have. I can make explosions with failed spells..." A small, self-deprecating smirk marks her face before she continues.
"I'm not well-trained, but I can fight if I'm needed to, and I'm smart. My parents- my fathers, at least- were both summoners before the General put them out of work, and I'd like to have them back in business." When she mentions Swain's withdrawal of Noxus from the League, her anger is visible, but she maintains a friendly tone.
One the rope is undone from its chain, she starts to weave it in a bracer around her arm, keeping her eyes on the knots.

"So Sivir... what brought you out here? Looking for me?" She asked the Battle Mistress who walked nearby. The small cub continued to follow close behind Astrid, much to the woman's slight discomfort.
"Think it'll keep following me...?" She inquired.
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."
"We were discussing things.. and you needed to hear them, so I sought you out." Sivir replied.. her eyes shifting to the bear cub "..Most likely, it probably has an attachment to you now."
((Well then, I think we've waited long enough. Time to advance things.))
"I see. It seems you're both mages. I suppose that works in our favor, as the Battlemistress, myself, and Astrid are all skilled in physical combat." Riven ran a hand through her hair. "However, we cannot act further on our goals until we have some concrete proof. Assuming the Jester's words are true, we still have no proof that Swain released the Butcher. We have no tangible link that he has done these things." She rose a hand to her chin and stared into the fire.
"What we need is physical evidence of his actions, something to show to the Noxian people that will prove our words are true..." She was silent a moment, pondering until her brows rose. It was so simple. "We must head to the Institute come tomorrow. If my memory serves, they hold two persons that should be able to tell us the truth behind Swain's involvement in Kalamanda." She crossed her arms, her face determined.
"Former Editor and Chief of the Journal of Justice, Ralston Farnsley, and Former High Councilor of the League of legends, Heywan Relivash..."
Shaco grinned. "Yes, to the Institute it is! I bet Swain will be RAVEN about this when we are finished with him! Get it???" Shaco's smile slowly faded as he looked at the faces of his comrades, all of which were stone cold serious.
The Jester cleared his throat. "Ahem...yes...let us make haste..." He stood up, and gazed across the cloudy horizon. Sivir and Astrid were out of sight, but he was sure that they'd catch up to them shortly. He didn't doubt the Battlemistress's skills. Then again, he didn't know much of Astrid, but she seemed worthy enough too.
"What are you guys sitting around for? Let's get going!" Shaco turned to Rose. "We don't want Swain to be a BIRDen on Valoran! GET IT???" Shaco quickly realized that jokes probably wouldn't help lighten the mood, and slumped his shoulders. "Sorry." The Jester apologized sheepishly.
