Gillam wasn't paying much attention to the summoners and councilors, but instead was focused on the Noxian delegation in their green and gold attire. Swain was still sitting in his seat, calm as always. Then, he saw a little girl walking near the Noxians.
Who in the world is this little girl? Gillam wondered to himself. He took a quick glance at the Demacia representatives, and spotted the Iron Ambassador. Gillam breathed a sigh of relief. At least there is one familiar face here... Gillam strolled over to his fellow Demacians, stopping when he reached Poppy.
"Who is that little girl near the Noxian delegation?" Gillam whispered to Poppy, studying the girl very carefully.
"No matter the era, I am Demacian, through and through."

Poppy turns to look at Gillam, nodding at him.
"Greetings mister Dunwall. That little girl? That is Annie Hastur. Don't let her looks fool you... she is one of the strongest magicians on the land already when it comes to fire-based magic. She is a League champion, and more than a match for the strongest beings in the League itself in power.
You see the teddy bear she's holding? That is actually a being called a 'shadow bear' that she tamed. An extremely dangerous creature that a regiment of troops would have trouble against, and she tamed it and turned it into a teddy bear named Tibbers. All this... while being a toddler. She is of Noxian origin... but her family from what I've researched fled Noxus due to danger on their lives."

Vladimir sat in silence watching as the meeting progressed, but something caught his eye, something rather small moving towards the table. Annie Hastur. What was she doing here? A better question, why was she making her way to the head table? Swain had not mentioned her being apart of the meeting. Vladimir would then stand up and begin walking towards the little girl, only turning back to quickly speak to his apprentice. "Stay here."
The Blood Lord would walk with a decent pace to intercept Annie from making it to the table. When he reached her, he put a hand on her shoulder and waited for her to turn. "Ms. Hastur, may i recommend perhaps a different seat? The table up there is for Swain and his delegates only. Here, why don't you come sit next to me and my pupil?" Vladimir kept one hand on her shoulder and then used the other to point back to Carmilla, a smile crept across his face. He really did not wish for her to ruin the gathering for The Grand General.
"If anything interesting is going to come up, I'm more likely to miss it." Titus thinks to himself. He doesn't know when the entire negotiation table will blow over, like it always has. He only waits for the time that it will.
He notices Poppy with the Demacians. He has always trusted Poppy in everything political but he's growing concerned that he's relying on her way too much. "Maybe...I'm coming to her..." Titus concluded in his mind.
He stealthily maneuvers between the crowds and finds his way into the location where the Demacians are seated. His dark robe prevents anyone from seeing who he actually is. He stands next to the group of Demacians. Then he would get near to Poppy, asking for...well whatever is happening on the table.

"Wow...such a child would not be commonplace in my era. The power she wields is certainly not meant to be in a child's hands. And a shadow bear? That is beyond insane." Gillam noticed a figure in dark robes moving towards where he and Poppy were situated, however, he didn't pay too much attention to the person.
Gillam glanced at the girl, as another man in crimson robes gestured to her. He did not look like a person Gillam would want to fight against. "And Poppy...who is that man that is talking to her? He looks...pale, to say the least."
"No matter the era, I am Demacian, through and through."
"Im not sure if Im was exactly invited. My mommy and daddy had someone in the institute put me on the.. dig something list just this morning." She eyes the other Hemomancer at Vlad's table. "She the one who's going to kill you for power later?" She giggled, it was obvious the studious little prodigy knew enough at least to read the histories of who would be her opponents.
She follows him back to the table and sits, once he does move back, of course. "I'm supposed to be negotiating against Noxus looking for our colony. Im not sure I can though."

Vladimir was surprised she knew of the final ritual that hemomancer's had to take. How would she know of such a thing? Had the league given away the information of what he did in the past? If they did then to who, and why? He pondered all of this while walking back to his seat, little Annie following. Perhaps Swain was right to withdraw him from the League. He decided he would discuss the matter with Swain after the meeting.
He would first introduce his apprentice to the girl before taking his seat. "Carmilla, this is Annie Hastur, a prodigy to fire magics as well as a champion of the League. Annie, this is my apprentice and the future of hemomancy, Carmilla."
After the two were introduced he would address what Annie had originally came to accomplish. "Ms. Hastur, this isn't the appropriate time nor place to sort such a thing out. Perhaps after the meeting is over, you can speak to The Grand General and discuss it to with him in private. It is currently out of the Leagues jurisdiction to have any influence over Noxus."

Poppy looks at Vladimir for a moment, disgusted on the inside by his magic but not showing it on the outside as she answers Gillam.
"Vladimir... the Crimson Reaper. Currently last of the 'hemomancers'. Think about magicians. Then ones that control the very blood of living beings, and you have the type of power Vladimir controls. It is... distubring to say the least."
(I figure that champions get like, open references on everything known about other champions of they care to look)
"I think I was sent here because everyone else was here, so there's less of a risk for me being kidnapped or something, and because it's gutsy." She shrugs, sitting back in her chair and eying the rest of the people present. She didn't really care, but she figured her parents knew best when it came to what was good for their colony.

"Hemomancy...such magics are dark and dangerous to meddle in. That man is a fool to dabble in such power." Gillam looked at Vladimir, then back to Annie. "From what I have seen so far, Noxus has been utilizing questionable magic. Back in my era, if such things occurred, I knew little of them. First with the longevity of Darkwill's life, then these Noxains named Vladimir and Annie... They do not change my impression of Noxus one bit."
Gillam frowned once more at the Noxian legation, then turned back to Poppy. "About the Ionian representatives. I feel like I learned little of this city state in my era. Since they are our allies, after all, I want to become more acquainted." The knight pointed to Irelia. "First of all, who is she? She seems to be a person of importance with the Ionians."
"No matter the era, I am Demacian, through and through."

Poppy looks at Irelia for a moment after Gillam points her out.
"Irelia, the Will of the Blades. Daughter of a legendary swordsman I believe. Her father was said to have been able to stand on a roof in the rain, not letting a single drop of water hit him. No one saw him move either. Blades were said to have breathed in his grasp.
Irelia is the captain of the guard in Ionia, and she had vowed to protect her land until her brother returned during the Noxian invasion. She was put under some curse by the Noxians, and almost died. Not even godlike being, the Starchild, could save her. But... somehow, unwilling to lose her homeland, she rose up from a state most have died in, and the blade you see with her rose up as well. It seems to have... linked itself with Irelia, and is an extension of her body, levitating and moving to her will. She slaughtered the Noxian invaders until the rest fled and is a respected hero of the Ionian peoplke for that.
It is remarkable how her weapon seems to have a mind of it's own and she can use it expertly without ever even touching it."

"A very good ally to have, I must say." Gillam finally elected to sit down in his seat, still eyeing the Ionians. "Well, we should probably just listen to what the summoners have to say about this Varus fellow."
Gillam craned his neck around, noticing the prince and his father sitting side by side. He stood up once again, and walked over to where they we sitting.
"Your highness." Gillam greeted King Jarvan Lightshield III, bowing. "I am Gillam Dunwall, sir. I am grateful to be in your service at this time."

Nulla placed his right elbow on the table in front of him and then rested his head on his palm. His eyes started to slowly close, and then he started mumbling sleepishly "Stupid Varus... Noxus... Third war... Mrghgh..."

He knew what he did and he clearly understood the causalities that resulted from his assault on Noxus. The summoner spoke to him about families losing their fathers, about children looking up to him as an example. It seemed as if he was trying to get to Varus' cold heart and try to find some sympathy in it. However, what he said back was that off his true emotions. He needed to speak his mind now, even if he knows that others will never understand.
"Do you not think I don't know what it's like to lose a family? I only took the lives of armed men, spared those of women and children. However, I cannot say the same for what happened to mine. The only reason why I am alive right now... was because I made the foolish decision of having hope that the helpless will be spared. It seems though that lions do not leave scraps. As for the children who you say will take arms? Can you not agree that it will be their choice instead of mine? Besides, will they be not be put into the same position as adults? Being hired into the army? Then again, that is of a different matter."
He did not seem to be fazed at all throughout his whole speech. After that, he gave out a hearty laugh. Not that of a madman, but that of a man filled with amusement of his own folly. After that, he looked back at the summoner.
"However, I do know that vengeance will not bring back what I have lost. Nor will taking mine bring back the lives off those I took. It will all be a never-ending cycle, and I have accepted that fact readily."
There was a girl that he saw in the dungeons, however. There was also his conversation with Sivir during his attack. It made him question his actions and there he was, realizing the fruit of vengeance. He then concluded his speech. There was a bit of a small satisfied smile on his face.
"Although I know that everyone will not agree with me, I consider myself and Noxus to be even. There have been ones who have made me question my path of vengeance. So, now I expect that as long as Noxus lays not a single finger on Ionia, neither will I towards Noxus."

The pause it took before Ethan finally surrendered an answer hung ponderously in the air around them, the intense focus drowning out much of the stimulus of the world around him. The catch of his robes against his body, the grain of the wood under his fingers, and the sound of Varus' voice were all that occurred to the gold ranked summoner. Something about the way Varus spoke was almost personally insulting but it wasn't anything that showed on his face, more a serene mask than anything else.
"Admirable. Truly admirable. That does not excuse your actions, however, does not justify that you killed them." Ethan paused momentarily to internally calm himself, continuing, "Your actions are still require punitive measures. I am certain you understand that if you double back upon your commitment there will be further action taken to detain you under the Dangerous Champion's Act."
It was an offhand remark, overall, as he felt that there was no need for such harsh actions in the near future. Varus' choices were rash but surely he was not stupid enough to see himself imprisoned twice for the same reason. A blink dispelled all but the last of his thoughts, a sense of finality coming with them. "Not important now. We'll catch him if he intends to escalate."
He turned his eyes to the hobbled man standing at the table bearing the Noxian delegates, an expectant look in his eyes. His initial distaste for the man had subsided, viewing him now as more of a rival than an obstacle. He knew what he was after and how to get there, even if it did not agree with Ethan's own perspective in the slightest, seemed that way at least. The stack of letters currently held by a low ranking summoner-turned-servant tugged at his mind, eager to be delivered, but it could wait until after the proceedings.
"What of Noxus' involvement in this, Grand General?"
