Kiersta allowed a deep frown of thought to show on her face. The Stewards of the Institute were a force to be reckoned with, trained in teamwork through their combined daily effort to run the institute. But was it worth the risk of placing them on the battlefield? “That I require two of your number already is a great risk to the running of the institute. Our first priority must be the protection of those in Demacia who cannot defend themselves, but there will be losses to our forces, and our aid may be needed elsewhere both while we’re gone and once we have returned. It will be the task of the Stewards to serve us by remaining stalwart in their continued service here in the Institute.”
Kiersta paused, a hint of hesitation showing for the first time since she stepped before the assembly. She reached forward and placed an open palm carefully, if not somewhat brusquely on the overwhelmed summoner’s shoulder. She spoke quietly and calmly, “The League has come far under your direction. Your expertise and familiarity with the champions will save many lives in the coming days, and then you will have the chance to give your Stewards the oversight they need in this time of crisis.”

Seeing the frown on the High Councilor's face, Tybresa flinched a bit startled, unable to hide her growing surprise and concern from showing on her features - her blue eyes widening as her eyebrows shot up. Was the situation so grave, then? She felt her heartbeat slow down in anxiety as she awaited Mandrake's words.
She seemed to relax a bit at her words, nodding curtly in acknowledgement at her orders.
Yes, High Councilor. As soon as I arrive to the Steward Meeting, I will make certain to have them all prepared to carry on their duties while we are away.
The Senior Steward would tilt her head slightly to show her perplexity at the High Councilor's hint of hesitation, only to straighten her posture at the shoulder-touch. Hearing her speak ... Tybresa swallowed lightly as she would bow her head, her gaze lost in thought. Has the League truly come far in the four years of her reign...? The following words, however, she could not deny - she has grown quite familiar with most of the champions of the League throughout her time as a summoner ... indubitably it will prove useful, in one way or another.
Tybresa would raise her gaze to meet that of Mandrake, a solemn expression on her face that was slightly dulled by the hopeful smile playing on her lips.
Thank you, High Councilor. Your words humble and embolden me. Even if ... She paused momentarily in order to swallow the lump that gathered in her throat. Should I fall, on the field of battle. I am more than confident that the Stewards will continue to persevere and work as diligently as ever - if not more. I trust their capabilities with my life ... and I am more than certain that my second in command will uphold our duty far better than I ever could.
