Kennen walked a bit ahead of the group of Yordle Scouts thst he was leading to the Placidium. While they were here for business, he still intended to let them enjoy the sights. He stopped and let the group catch up.
"Gentlemen..." he began somewhat dramatically, "I present to you... The Placidium." Kennen stepped aside and let them gaze upon its splendor for a moment before continuing forward. As he walked along, he pointed to a spot along one of the walls. "That spot over there is where I ran up the wall, which is what got me to where I am today." He was eternally proud of that accomplishment, and even in the midst of his walking he smiled at the memory.
As they stepped through the main entrance, Kennen stopped again and turned around. "Any questions before we get those papers?"

Teemo brings the company to a halt at the same moment as Kennen. Though glancing around would have been tempting, many have gathered their wits well enough to maintain a perfectly military persona about them, poised and proper. This is something Teemo immediately notices as they stop, realizing that once again his group is sticking out like a sore thumb. He blinks several times, bewilderment at this realization apparent on his face as he glances back at his troops and then again to Kennen. None of the scouts budged a centimeter.
"I think... we need to loosen up a bit if we're going to blend in well."
Titus follows up behind the company, seemingly hidden from view. The view of the Placidium is breathtaking. And it's seems impossible to believe that Kennen RAN up those massive walls.
He felt out of place from the other yordles. Kennen is different from them, but he's an Ionian and a champion like Teemo. Titus isn't from the scouts and wears a different outfit from them.
He moves up to meet with Teemo and Kennen, wondering about what Teemo said.
"Well what do you have in mind, Captain?" Titus asks.

Teemo folds his arms, a previous idea coming to mind.
"Well, for starters, a change in uniform could do. But first thing's first, we've got to go inform someone that we're here and what we'll be doing."
The scout captain smirks and nudges Titus casually, in a very normal yordle-like behavior. "Maybe afterwords Kennen can train us in acting like normal yordles again, huh Titus?"

Kennen chuckled. "Yes, you'll definitely need some training in casualness before you can go out into the field." he said merrily. While this hsdn't been what he expected, he was happy to give lessons on his own country. He quickly scanned the group before continuing. His voice dropped to a more serious tone as he said "For right now, let's just focus on what we're here for."
Kennen proceded to lead the group through the city, pointing out various landmarks along the way. Finally, he came to a stop in front of a particularly ornate building. "And this is Irelia's office. She's who we need to talk to."
He walked up to the door and knocked a few times before shouting "Irelia! I've got a little surprise for you!"

It was another day at the office for Irelia, dealing with the recurring crimes throughout Ionia and the other political issues. Her mood was rather down lately due to the Noxian intrusion and she surely won't give a smile to whoever showed up in-front of her.
Her pen scratched the numerous papers that never seemed to end, and her hand was rather sweaty and exhausted. Suddenly, she heard Kennen knocking the door and announcing that he had a surprise. If he expected that it would put up a smile on her face, he was definitely wrong and it actually made her look angrier. With a loud and harsh voice, the Captain said as she put down the pen on her desk and glared at the wooden door that stood in front of her.
The harsh sound from the office mentally drops Titus to his knees. Well he might be exaggerating but for Ionians to be spiritually sound, that booming voice questions otherwise. He takes a quick look to the scout and then front again, thinking to just say nothing and let the two speak anyways.

Kennen was somewhat startled by Irelia's seeming anger. While she had always been somewhat curt, this was a new to him. It was scary having to face an angry government official who could slice him in half.
Kennen mustered some courage, opened the door wide, and gestured behind him. Smiling and in the cheeriest voice he could muster, he said "Say hello to the Bandle City scout force. It's a rather long story and I'm sure you'll want all the details, but right now they need papers allowing them to snoop around the forest for..." he turned to Teemo, an eyebrow raised, "what was it again? A Noxian assassin or something, right?"

Irelia's voice sends a shudder through the scouts, a flurry of ears pulling back and eyebrows raising. Several start to whisper between one another about how their presence might not be as welcomed as they'd hoped. Even Teemo nudges Titus again and whispers, "Whatever you do, don't upset her. Something tells me things won't-"
He cuts himself off as Kennen opens the door, immediately signaling for the others to get back into place as he does himself. The scout captain allows Kennen to finish, stepping forward to confirm his information.
"Yes. He is the only living assassin from the group that murdered the blacksmith Bomgrun, Poppy's father. We've managed to piece together enough information to assume that he is currently located in the southern forests of Ionia. Poppy requests that he be returned to her alive so she can see to his fate herself. It's also my understanding that he is marked a traitor to the Noxians."

Irelia stared at Kennen intently, letting a brief moment of silence weigh down in the office as her emerald eyes never left Kennen's gaze. When he introduced the Bandle City scout force, the expression on her face went from angered to neutral as her lips adopted a blank posture.
The office was bathing in the rays of the burning sun, and the only possible way to cool down the room was the window located behind Irelia, which couldn't do much since the wind was absent in the whole area, hidden from the heat that struck Ionia. However, Irelia wasn't bothered at all; she was more focused on her work and Ionia's well being rather than her body's temperature and health. She towered over Teemo as she took a few steps towards the group of yordles, staring at him as her ears perceived his words. "This is quite interesting..." She thought to herself before she spoke to Teemo in a very formal tone, holding her shoulders up as her lips spoke the following words.
"I see... And what is the reason for your presence here? Do you intend on capturing him?"
One could not tell what Irelia was probably thinking right now, but the fact that he's considered a traitor by the Noxians and is an assassin surely is beneficial for her in every possible way, however, she had to find him and bring him to the Placidium, which wouldn't be such an easy task.

Teemo gives a firm nod, his gaze steeled and void of emotion. "Yes ma'am. We wish to capture him and return him to Poppy. Doesn't matter what happens, so long as he gets back to her alive. We came here first, though, to make sure we aren't gonna be intruding or anything."
The other scouts have all returned to their place by now, poised and ready.

"I see..."
Said Irelia as she walked back to her desk, and stood behind it with her arms crossed behind her back. Her eyes suddenly shot a sharp gaze at Teemo and his scout as she continued to speak with her icy voice.
"Unfortunately, I can not allow you to do such operation in Ionia right now. We are having a political strife and if any of this is revealed to the public, things could go down and something bad might happen. However, I can send my top men to fetch this person then bring him to you as soon as we are done with him."
Irelia wanted to make sure to lay her hands on the assassin before the Scouts could retrieve him and send him to Poppy. She isn't protecting him, but he may know things that could help her in her own endeavors against the Noxian intrusion she tried to find a way to get rid of.

"Well now hang in a second," Kennen blurted, a confused look on his face, "you're concerned about the public noticing one of the masters of stealth?"
He took a step further into Irelia's office. "We were going to take every precaution. Kennen brought his hands together and started counting, "Casual farmer's clothing, mannerism training, and uhhhh..." he trailed off. "The point is that you're concerned about something that does not require concern!"

Teemo stares blankly at Irelia through the entirety of the conversation. There is somewhat of a serious, stony glint in his eyes. Thinking to himself, the scout notices how Irelia speaks as though the Ionians would have use for the assassin as well. Perhaps this is why she refused? Does she want to get her hands on him first? Of course, the Noxians are a threat to Ionia so perhaps...
Suddenly he calmly steps forward and places a firm hand on Kennen's shoulder, passively sending the message 'shut up, now, I can handle this'.
"It's alright, Ken, no need to argue," he coolly states with a hint of a smile before turning to Irelia. "I fully trust that you're capable of capturing this assassin, ma'am. Being an ex-Noxian he could very well provide valuable information to you. But as you've said, you have a political strife going on here, and we wouldn't want our sudden intrusion to cause more hardships. Are you sure you wouldn't like us to go in and bring him to you instead, while you can stay here and focus on your own disputes? We are an enemy of his from far off, an enemy he probably won't be expecting. Not only that, but we have obtained records of his previous scandals and have learned much about him and his tricks. I assure you we are also very capable of capturing him unnoticed and bringing him here for you. It would be an honor serve Ionia in this way."
The scout captain, though he is already much shorter than the female captain, gives her a low bow as a sign of respect. His troops follow suit shortly after.
