Thud.
"One of the steps need fixing." The Blind Monk said to himself, the echoes of his foot hitting the ground giving him a mental image of the towering walls before him. The Shojin Monastery. A magnificent place, home to peaceful monks; Lee Sin's brothers. The walls of the large Monastery stood tall and proud, unlike the stone steps laid out across the path leading to the large doors whom many have traversed over in order to approach the Shojin Monks in seeking guidance or to learn of their ways.
Lee Sin took in a breath, having not been in the presence of his home in so long after being called away to the mainland. He approached the Monastery, taking each step as another way to catch the details of the area. He neared the doors which would lead inside to the outer grounds, where it led to various other areas of the Monastery such as the garden, dwellings, refectory, and Shojin Temple. Many times people came to give alms, and on several occasions people have come simply to meet Lee Sin on the off-chance he would be willing to mentor them. After his long journey, he didn't expect anyone else to come visit him that morning, but he knew the monks would welcome anyone seeking him, and he did not mind.
The Blind Monk turned to his traveling companion, Vha'Xath, and smiled, "Are you ready to enter, my friend?"

Vha'Xath was a little bit distracted looking around at the area, but still payed attention to Lee Sin. "Yes, but are you sure this is a wise decision?"

Lee Sin nodded, "Rest assured. The Monks will take you in, and I will be in your defense should anyone be suspicious of you, from here or outside otherwise. You are my new pupil, and you shall be treated as such." with that, The Blind Monk opened the large double doors leading to the grounds within. There was already a group of monks passing through on their way to the gardens when they saw Lee Sin and Vha'Xath. "Lee Sin, you have returned. With some...company?" the man at the front of the group, a balding short fellow said, as he bowed to the Blind Monk and took a glance at Vha'Xath. "I never would have thought a voidling would approach without harming someone first."
Vha'Xath followed Lee Sin in, trying to look normal. He wanted to just let Lee Sin do all the talking, but figured he would be better off speaking for himself. "Unlike most of my kind, I am competent enough not to blindly follow the path set for the Void. I do not attack unless in defense." Vha'Xath hoped his words would be enough to assure the monks he was not a danger.

Recent affairs have been somewhat out of his hands. The movement of Zed and Swain's unexpected alliance have died down, as if the two man had plotted and schemed quietly without a single man bearing witness, would he be presumed capable of being the sole man to bear such witness? That is a no, for he has not received any information, either from his scouts, or through his personal journeys and investigations.
Kennen has been dealing with the Bandle city task force while Akali is still waiting for the fish to take it's bait, which so far, has not occurred.
Shen, who hoped to gather more information and also to clear his mind of the shallow shell of a feeling called anxiety, had walked to the Shojin Monastery, home to the Blind monk Lee Sin himself, Perhaps as to expose himself to such ancient atmosphere of a different practice.
The Eye of Twilight had walked through the door to discover Lee Sin accompanied by a denizen of the Void, a strange sight to behold, but if his observation served him correctly, the air that surrounds him is not one of cold blooded murder, but rather something a lot more... Subtle. Nevertheless, it would be of an appropriate time to give a greeting. The thought jolted through his head as he approached Lee Sin and his companion, speaking two simple words.

The group of monks gave mixed reactions, a few of the newer brothers giving anxious, some fearful looks. The eldest of them, the balding monk, simply nodded to Vha'Xath. "I hope you find strength in your character, then." He commented, before leading the group away to the gardens in the eastern part of the monastery.
The Blind Monk was about to take Vha'Xath off to take a tour of the grounds before he heard his name behind him. Turning around and feeling the reverberations of the air tell him that someone else was in his presence; a fellow champion of the League.
"Greetings, Shen." he said. "To what do I owe the honor of the Eye of Twilight visiting our humble Monastery?"
Vha'Xath didn't say anything to the balding monk, though he was listening to the monk's words.
At Shen's appearance Vha'Xath stayed silent. Lee Sin had told him the monks would not attack him, though this man did not seem to be a monk, so it seemed wise not to say anything to him.

The sense of alarm within the creature's eyes betrays his silence. The azure ninja sees this as a form of self protection, for perhaps if in the Void everything is categorized as fight or flight, this one would certainly be the later.
That makes everything clearer, it also explains the aggressive tendencies within Void denizens that in this one is evidently lacking. Through that is just partly observation on his part and not something he is putting his mind to, through Shen would be mindful.
"Greetings to you as well, the Blind Monk"
Shen would response to the man before him, giving off a slight bow.
"your monastery's establishment was an occurrence that had taken place long ago, I had thought that a visit by the Kinkou is in order and I would ask if you would allow it as such."

"Of course." Lee Sin bowed himself. "Come, I was about to take my newest pupil, Vha'Xath, to the temple." the Blind Monk gestured to the voidling with him. "I know it may seem out of place, but I have no regrets in taking him in."
Lee Sin stepped aside, allowing Shen to walk with them up the path to the temple. "So how are your affairs, my friend?" he asked out into the wind, listening intently to the voices that surround him.

"Matters have been going through at a most steady pace I would suggest, through somethings are perhaps better off left unsaid. The longer the wait before Noxians started moving their fingers behind the curtains, the more complicated Ionian's situation will become."
For the man beside him had committed himself to the most injuring of cruelties in protest, the azure ninja holds no concern over the Monk's will and determination in protecting Ionia's interest and related to this matter indirectly, balance's interest.
Shen would observe the quiet surroundings around him. Sounds seemed non-existent, but vibrations existed. It had felt like a quiet ocean, through the currents that courses through it and the hidden waves makes such an impression a deadly misinterpretation.
Should Lee Sin hold no regrets in letting the denizen of the void within his own temple, then Shen would bestow upon him respect worthy of such a position.

The trio continued on upwards on the path, the Blind Monk in earnest silence and contemplation, before arriving before the large Temple, weathered and old from the countless decades it has stood. Through harsh winters and wars, famines and floods, the Shojin Temple has stood as a venerated santum of Inner Healing for pilgrims who travel from all over Ionia seeking the Temple.
Lee Sin stood before the steps of the Temple. Several of the older monks were outside with the young ones watching them play. A few of them ran and approached Lee Sin excitedly, who promptly smiled and knelt down, bowing his head to the child who approached him. A few of the others were just as eager to see Shen, ninja of the Kinkou. They were all a rabble of enthusiasm, "Lee Sin is back! Lee Sin is back! Look, a Kinkou Ninja wow!"
They all seemed to ignore Vha'Xath in the back, until one of the much younger children approached the voidling, "What are you, sir?" he asked naively, his eyes bright with curiosity.
"I am...." Vha'Xath didn't know how to answer the child. Telling the truth may scare the child, but he didn't come with Lee Sin to tell lies. He thought for a moment, deciding what to say. "I am not from this world....I am from the Void. I came here to learn your ways."

((SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG OHGOD ;^)
The child cocked his head inquisitively, "You're gonna learn too?" he said innocently, before one of the older monks hurriedly took the child away. Indeed, there was a stark contrast between the elder monks wariness an the innocence of the children. Lee Sin walked back to Vha'Xath and Shen, "The monks have allowed me time in the Temple. Vha'Xath, are you ready to begin your purge, and start on the path of Inner Healing? Shen, will you stand and watch the balance of this creature shift?" he asked, before turning to begin the walk up the steps into the Temple, leading the way for his new pupil as the children and other monks watched in curiosity from afar.

Shen watched as a few of the adolescence addresses him with curiosity and sparks within their eyes. Such expressions are tempting to the human mind perhaps, to rarities.
He bears witness to Lee Sin's interaction with his familiar kind, his people. Those monks who had left their mark on the land of Ionia for times that are now considered runic and ancient, they are as predated as the Kinkou, perhaps to an even longer extent, but both have continued to this very day, both managing their own difficulties and flourished as a result.
As the blind monk transcends the steps into the temple, the azure ninja followed, quietly and steadily behind him. It was quiet a while ago that he had observed the "purges" and it would jolt his memory once more of their traditions, the fact that it was a voidling however, makes matter even more complicated and valuable.
"Then let me once again be shown the way of the monk, if such intent is your will."
