As the day went on, Diana had felt that someone's eyes were upon her throughout her trek within the city. She had noticed Melanie, only by chance as she turned and her gaze fell upon the woman's rather own fruitful one. She could see that the woman was interested, but possibly to shy to approach. As Diana continued her walk about the famous area's of Zaun, she would choose to "Disappear" whilst within it, to test the womans resolve to follow her... even if she herself was not familiar with Zaun. Other than the couple of encounters earlier in the day, Diana would choose to wait...and become the one who followed Melanie, rather than allow the woman to follow her again.
"Who might you be, my child? I've seen that you have followed me for nearly the entire day, and even look for me within the night... are you one who truly wishes to learn of the Lunari, or... simply me?" Diana cooed out softly, close to Melanie's ear as she turned just opposite of where she was watching, and was to be immediately upon the Zaunite. Truthfully, it would startle anyone if Diana appeared next and/or behind them with such a question, but her curiosity was now met and it had grown dark.
Melanie who had just been on her way to leave and head back to Adal's apartment got quite scared as she heard Diana's voice right next to her. Twitching rather heavily as she was scared she turned around to see Diana. At first her mind kept telling her to run away, until she realized who had scared her, Diana herself. She relaxed and placed her hand on her chest. Breathing rather heavily at first she managed to lower it a bit. "D-Diana!" She stuttered, turning around fully and standing up from the bench she bowed quickly. "I-I-I... I w-wanted to s-speak with you."
Melanie was at a loss of words, not knowing what to say, her favorite champion was in front of her and she was talking to her. What had Diana said? Something about Lunari... OH That Lunari. She nodded, "I wa-wish to know more about y-you and the Lunari."
Melanie's reaction would've been a common sight anywhere else than Zaun, it seems. Even if Diana had good intentions, she wouldn't find a woman who was so... adamant upon meeting the Lunar knight herself. Perhaps it was only shyness, or fear, but Diana would find out everything tonight, if not enough to sate her own curiosity.
"Don't be shy, I've all the time in the world right now.....especially tonight~" Diana cooed softly, folding her arms and eyeing the woman. She wore garb that seemed finer than most of Zaun, especially within this area.
"And who might you be? I am of course Diana, it is only wise to greet another with the same intentions..." With a smirk, she'll wait.
Diana would be seen walking with Caerys, and truthfully herself & her member seemed to be of those who were unapproachable by normal means. They would be walking along, Diana talking as if she were preaching, but only to Caerys herself as they walked. Lavin would notice that people would come to Diana, and find themselves turned away immediately, almost as if she was sending those who begged away.
Lavin's eyes were suddenly caught as Diana and Caerys came into his field of view. He smiled. Definitely lucked out tonight. Fixing his hair quickly, he approached the two, regardless of all the people being turned away. "Eey, beautiful night, innit? Shame it don't look good as you two." He gave them a wink and fell in step besides them. "That said, why're you out so late? Zaun can get dangerous, y'know? You shouldn't be out on the streets like this."
As the man approached the women, Diana blinked, eyeing his garb and attempt to be suave for them... or at least that's what she thought.
"You, like many others are highly misinformed of who I am, and I would wish that you did not walk so closely. State your intentions before I make you leave." Diana said rather coldly, almost sick of being harassed for herself or Caerys' beauty whilst on the hunt for those who wish to learn of the Lunari.
Diana's starting to grow impatient tonight, and her own anger would begin to manifest sooner if she was not so driven to bring more into her order. One small misstep is all one would need to set her off... even if she seemed rather neutral for the moment.
“I would require of you to not call Zaunites for violence in history we have always been providers of what the masses ask for….sadly being mostly weapons.” He said his voice sounding deeply sad “I would ask of you what do you really know about Zaun’s past and story before judging it’s population after only meeting it’s champions that sadly represent the worst qualities of the city exaggerated?” “I ask of you nothing more than the opportunity of chat for mutual benefit without any true masks and all I get is suspicion.” He said starting to calm down “I didn’t came here for guidance from above as I have to keep my feet firmly on the ground to achieve any positive change in this city…but an alliance that would help me guide those that still have a chance of believing and having hopes…I want to gift that to my people…hope…”
With a blink, Diana would continue to gaze upon the man. It seems that she had offended him in some way, but then again, a cold woman does that alot whilst in business. His question would ring within Diana's mind for a few moments, as he continued to speak on. "Hope? What will hope do if none of its matrons partake within it? What will hope do if those blinded by false truths bring?" Diana thought, remembering her past. "...Hope does bring change, doesn't it?" Diana said softly, before turning back to Magnus.
"What I know of Zaun, is what I've heard from other citystates, the Institute and its own Summoners. A city that more-or-less takes pride in technological advance, with little to no disregard of others. That may apply to most, but surely as I gaze about this city, and the clouded sky... much would be needed to change this into what you envision. If within this chat I find something that can benefit us both, I will strike upon it, if not... I'll simply arise and leave."
She was to the point, and would regardless of what others say, agree to the small dinner date.

Lavin held his hands up defensively as he backed away slightly, still smiling a bit. "Sorry miss. Didn't mean to be a bother, aye? But honestly, I'm just starting a conversation." He kept walking in line, just not as closely, merrily keeping up. "Don't seem to mind having people interested in what you have to say nearby. If I'd listen, would you let me stick 'round? Have little better to do. And the unsavory folk would bother you less if I was around." He made a motion like weighing options. "So? You sending me home down a kidney, or letting me listen in? I can be quiet, I swear."

Melanie was quite stunned at the moment, she didn't really know what to say or how to act. The very presence of Diana seemed to make her nervous and fumble for words. She swallowed several times, what had Diana asked? Ehm... Ehm... Ehm... Who I was!
"M-Melanie H-Hazelwood, ma'am! But my girlfriend and most of my friends call me Mel, so I guess you can call me Mel too, but only if you want! It's not like I'm forcing you to call me Mel or anything like that, or you can just say Melanie."
She had managed to say, but she was still really nervous and it showed. She blinked a lot and spoke rather fast.

So, it seemed that Dianna and her acolytes had come into Zaun to spread their faith. However benign their intentions seemed to be, far be it from Girard to be caught flat-footed. Furthermore, he would be expected to formally greet the Lunari champion herself...Why not kill two birds with one stone?
The Zaunite Military Barracks were not far from Singed's laboratory, given the champion's close ties with Noxus. It was a simple matter for Girard to track down a Lunari acolyte and have her direct him to where she assumed Dianna would be at the time. As such, Girard was quickly able to track down and intercept Caerys and Dianna. As he approached, he bowed respectfully before offering his hand out to Dianna first, then Caerys. Should they accept his handshake, they would find his skin as cold as ice - after all, years of cryomancy had their aftereffects.
"Lady Dianna, it is an honor to meet you. I am General Girard Laurentine the Third, acting-commander over Zaun's military effort and High Command General of Noxus. I hope everything is going well for you?" He asked, a pleasant smile crossing his otherwise unemotional visage

Magnus did a respectful reverence if a little exaggerated as a gesture that he would be parting now “I will be waiting for you in the Iron palace café tomorrow at 13:00.” He said taking his leave and leaving the direction of a shelter big enough for the Lunari faction nothing too luxurious but way better than the streets “I hope it is of help” was written in the back of the map showing where it was.
Sometimes a man does not sell his soul for profit. Sometimes it’s just to not lose everything.

I can be quiet, I swear."
Diana furrows a brow as the man grows defensive, and continued her walking as her mind remained focused upon the task before her. Soon his own inquiry would make her stop, facing him as he continued his manner of speech, piquing her interest. The option of simply scaring him off was nice, but he didn't seem to bad enough to have it happen... not yet at least.
"Even if you remain quiet and follow us around, the people here don't care much about women being accompanied by men, as I've seen to many being hit on whilst with their partners as I walked by... so that option wont do much."
She'll then lift her blade and poke him with it, before placing it back down and holding it by the hilt as it stayed firmly within the ground; and after her next statement she'll wait for his response.
"What says you about the Lunari? If you wish to learn, then you must not be lead astray by the lies of others, and only find the Moon's light as a guiding factor within your life. I can easily end your life here, but since you have choosen to give me such options, it only seems fair that I learn your intent...just as I asked earlier.

She had managed to say, but she was still really nervous and it showed. She blinked a lot and spoke rather fast.
Diana's brow would raise as the woman stuttered & fumbled around her words just to simply introduce herself. This was truly an odd experience, because she seemed to be much more of an admirer than someone that feared the Lunar knight. She'll fold her arms as well as smirk until Melanie had stopped speaking, then finally tilt her head in response.
"Melanie, is it? Calm down, I'm not going to kill you since you seem to be an admirer perhaps?" Afterwards, she'll motion to a bench nearby, so at least the woman could sit and gather her thoughts. " What are you to me, or my cause...and what do you plan to be if I hear the right things?" She asked curiously.
Whether Diana wanted to or not, the simple fact that Melanie's interesting to her, Diana would attempt to convert her if not immediately, or at least put that option within her mind to think upon. It was truly rare to meet someone who acted rather shyly & rather quick to speak in nervousness in front of her.

((ONE N DAMMIT. I edited ur initial post from the quote :3))
This day was becoming long, and the smoggy air was at least starting to bother the Lunar knight. She's well enough fine though, and Girard would find that both Diana & Caerys resting at a small cafe near singed's laboratory, so he'll approach her as she drank some tea.
"...And now we have a Military commander coming to us?" Diana said, although not shaking his hand. Caerys however, would have and test his grip, if only a little bit given her past experiences with commanders.
"I would suppose everything is going as well as it usually does. No-one wishes to listen to me, and only those who have truly lost all purpose in life have come begging, which I do not tolerate. The Moons sight may watch overall, but even I cannot save those who have lost that much purpose within their lives." Diana said rather coldly, discontent with today's efforts.
"And why did you seek me out, General? Surely you have much more time on your hands than to deal with my affairs?"
With a blink, Diana would continue to gaze upon the man. It seems that she had offended him in some way, but then again, a cold woman does that alot whilst in business. With a nod, she'll take the directions and gaze at them curiously. She would get lost, even with these for a while, unless she searched through the night for the place. Gazing at the shelters location as well, Diana smirked.
"We'll see how this goes then, Magnus." Diana said softly, watching him walk off rather quickly before putting the directions & map away to continue her day.
Diana furrows a brow as the man grows defensive, and continued her walking as her mind remained focused upon the task before her. Lavin swallowed slightly as Diana poked him with her sword. He knew the wrong word would get him into a lot of trouble - the permanent, you're-dead-now kind of trouble too. "Oi...uh...I don't got anything against 'em. The Lunari, that is." He scratched his head awkwardly. "And to be honest, I came over to flirt. Because that can't possibly go wrong with a sword that big." He gave a sigh of relief as she lowered her sword.
"But that's not why I'm sticking around. Honestly, now that I know you're Lunari, it might be a mite interesting to learn." He crossed his chest like he was swearing on something. "That and there's a difference between 'partner' and 'armed guard.'" He pulled out his shotgun slightly from its back holster, showing it off. "Trust me. Folks don't enjoy bullets in their chest. But you probably don't need it, so just remember that's what I can add up for now."

"Yes, I am a rather busy man....But anything that may better Zaun's well-being is worth my time to investigate." Girard smiled lightly, and placed a hand on the back of an empty chair. "May I....?" Assuming she says yes, he would take a seat and then turn to face Diana. "Now....Would you tell me more about the Lunari and their beliefs?"
Diana's brow would raise as the woman stuttered & fumbled around her words just to simply introduce herself. Melanie nodded and sat down on the bench, she was still pretty nervous. After all, it was the first champion she had met in person. Unsure of what to say she began to think a lot at the same time. How would Adal react? What would Adal say? Adal. Melanie looked up at Diana and took a deep breath.
"I'm just excited to meet you, you're my favorite champion. And I just wanted to say hello, but then I remembered something." Melanie stood up and took another deep breath. "I mentioned my girlfriend, right? Well... I was thinking of.." She then looked around to see if Adal was near by. When she couldn't see her she looked back at Diana. "... I want to propose to her! I'd like you... if possible that is.... to do the ceremony? It'd mean a lot to me, you're a champion and Lunari."
Diana furrows a brow as the man grows defensive, and continued her walking as her mind remained focused upon the task before her. Diana kept her gaze upon Lavin, although she didn't truly have a response to being told that someone legitimately wished to flirt with them so seriously. She would let off a small grin as he knew well enough what would be his end if his little experience went awry.
"Yes, flirt with the women who have swords that cleave through bodies, although Caerys here, has her knives instead." Diana replied sarcastically, just to mess with him a little more.
Until Lavin mentioned himself of attempting to be a guard of sorts to the women, she would gaze upon the shotgun and shrug, overthinking his statement. "A useful weapon, but I prefer knowing that my enemies or attackers have been Silenced. Perhaps I'll allow you to stick around, and if you prove yourself worthy, I could also see how far you seek for the knowledge of my order.
Diana watched the General as he spoke, and once he placed the hand upon the seat, she simply noded, but keeping her cold gaze upon him as he began questioning her order. She'll simply choose to give the simple answer, and if the man wished to inquire more, he'll really have to prove it. She'll lean back, folding her arms in a stalwart position, and rest against the chair before she spoke.
"The Lunari, my order, holds the Moon as both their guiding light, and what drives them to live. Driven by instinct, nature, desire, whatever you wish to call it... that is what the Lunari stands for simply. The history does not concern you unless you wish to know, but I assume that even a General knows what's been said by the summoners at the Institute, when it was still active?"
Diana's brow would raise as the woman stuttered & fumbled around her words just to simply introduce herself. This was truly an odd experience, because she seemed to be much more of an admirer than someone that feared the Lunar knight. "I have never met one who's ever been as excited to meet me then, I suppose." Diana said as Melanie continued on with her statements, only nodding when Melanie mentioned her girlfriend, as it slipped past her mind if she did or did not.
At the end of Melanie's rather...strange request, Diana's brow would be as raised as high as it ever could be. Just because she was simply the leader of the Lunari, and working upon their revival...didn't necessarily mean that she was all to fitted to be a priestess of sorts to commence a ceremony, be it marriage or otherwise...at least not just yet.
"I may be a leader of a religious faction that was cast away in the past... but as of right now, I do not believe I could even do a ceremony like that unless it was joining someone of my order, with someone else." Diana replied rather bluntly, as if hinting towards Melanie thinking of what she was proposing.
Diana kept her gaze upon Lavin, although she didn't truly have a response to being told that someone legitimately wished to flirt with them so seriously. She would let off a small grin as he knew well enough what would be his end if his little experience went awry.

"It's settled, then." Lavin slid the shotgun back into its holster, securing it with a smile towards Diana and a tip of an imaginary cap. "Gonna stick around, learn what I can, and maybe even join on. Except for the poking and the thinly veiled threats..." He made a small gesture in the air and laid a hand on his chest, chuckling for a moment to himself as if he was remembering a small joke, "...only occupational hazard might be Solari. But for the sake of temper," he noted with a calming wave, "let's leave them out of it, aye?"
He gave Diana another smile and walked besides her. "So, while we walk, how about you tell me about the Lunari? I'm dying to know all about 'em."
Melanie smiled a little as she waited for Diana's answer, she had been thinking about proposing for Adal for a while now, she just had to get some money for a ring and someone that would make the ceremony special, maybe her brother.
When Diana said that she was unable to do a ceremony Melanie frowned a bit, she really wanted Diana to do the ceremony. Melanie sighed and looked down on the ground. "Well... I'm not sure if my girlfriend or I want to join the Lunari right now... or even later, but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for your time." Melanie said and stood up, bowing a little and turned around to begin to leave.

"Actually, there was not much said beyond that the Solari had erased nearly all record of the Lunari's existence. To be frank, until your arrival, there was little to no knowledge of the Lunari that was available to the public. All the more reason why I'm seeking this knowledge firsthand." Girard replied.
Diana's gaze rose from the shotgun being holstered as the man gave himself a small chuckle, as she looked around, locked upon her surroundings as she felt the man's attempts were fine enough to allow his presence for a while longer. She'll wave her hand in a peculiar way, motioning him to follow nonchalantly as they began their walk once again through the city. It would only be several minutes later when Diana finally decided to answer his query, and so she began to speak, breaking whatever silence was within their small little group, as two seperate acolytes who were scouring the city rejoined up with their leader, both to give in reports and to show some promise.
"The Lunari is simply my order, one that was lost to the past by the betrayals of the Solari, the Sun's worshipers upon Targon." She began, giving the most simple of answers to respond in, throwing the true struggle that her order has to deal with first, to test his nerve. Her statement was venomous when she mentioned both the Solari & Sun, showing her tolerance to hearing either mentioned immediately. "We follow the Moons light, our guidance, and keeper of our resolve. I am her avatar, and I follow her word...even if others cannot see or feel it, I can... just as her light shines upon this dirtied city and its rather...colorful inhabitants."
The small groups walk would continue about, but come to a halt at a crossroads between the slums of the city, and the laboratories that were now behind the group.
Diana's brow would rise as Melanie's rather soft smile turned to a frown, and even more so the disappointment that was practically shoved into the Lunar woman's ears as she saw the scene. This was something she did not expect, and with a heavy sigh, she'll grasp Melanie's arm just as she began to walk off. After stopping the woman, Diana grabbed her nose's bridge and with a sigh, thinking about the situation before her and her...as it was stressing to be denied
"Just what kind of ceremony, be it a small proposal or wedding are you actually proposing to have me...overlook?... I have a feeling that if you leave before me now, I'll never see you again. She asked softly, knowing full well that it'll make her trip to Zaun even more tasking, but she needed people who even actively seeks her out...it'll be worth it...and possibly shed new light into the city.
"Actually, there was not much said beyond that the Solari had erased nearly all record of the Lunari's existence. To be frank, until your arrival, there was little to no knowledge of the Lunari that was available to the public. All the more reason why I'm seeking this knowledge firsthand." Girard replied.
Diana's brow raised as she had never heard this firsthand, at least from someone who was supposed to have a military backround, who would learn of these things about people. She sighed somewhat shaking her head, seeing as she had seen to it herself to show the world, especially through the institute.
""The Lunari, just as I've said before if people ever listen to me when they ask questions, they would already know that it's information is simply being revealed more and more as I explore and uncover more about the past itself. I've consistently updated the Institutes personal library along with my own at my temple with more knowledge from uncovered text, along with the various artifacts that are duplicates...are stored there as well. Asking for knowledge firsthand is admirable, but I would prefer it being disclosed either in a private setting, or perhaps even not where the prying eyes and ears of those who I do not trust as of yet, including you, reside.
Diana would take a sip of her drink, then place it aside. Feeling as if she had only one more question for the man, even after she revealed her intent.
The small groups walk would continue about, but come to a halt at a crossroads between the slums of the city, and the laboratories that were now behind the group.
Lavin nodded thoughtfully as she led him on, listening carefully. Occasionally he'd add a 'Mhm' or 'That's interesting,' but otherwise was fairly silent. He felt her hostility towards the sun was a bit extreme (The Solari may have killed off her religion in the past and tried to kill her, but not everyone in the Solari must be like that...right?) but at least found her brief history intriguing.
When they came to the crossroads, he glanced back and forth and paused. "Ay, a bit dark, innit? Any clue where we're going next, 'cause being lost isn't good in this area, weapons or no. That and I want to hear more - you really caught my attention, aight?"
