It had been a while since the Gravedigger had been visited, or rather interrupted twice, while working. First by the Widowmaker and shortly after that, the Spider Queen. He despised both of them, cutthroats who sneak around and stab you in the back, but what made him dislike the Spider Queen even more was that when she talked to him, she kept asking about the Widowmaker whether she was leaking information about them. It made him quite suspicious, "Why did she want to know what I think about the Widowmaker?" he thought. No, everything seemed quite odd if you asked him. He was sure that the Spider Queen was up to something and he intended to find out what. After finishing a grave he moved away from the graveyard and stepped into the dense forest that surrounded the plain field, filled with crumbling tombstones. He walked for a few minutes into the forest until he felt that he was far away from any prying eyes.
His hand was slowly raised into the air, "Rise, my minions." With that a group of six ghouls came crawling out of the ground, varying little in size. The ghouls hovered four feet above the ground, their dark toned bodies made them hard to see in the dark. Their eyes had a weak yellow glow as they looked at him. "Go to the Spider Queen's realm, listen to what she says, stay hidden and only come back when you find out something." He commanded the ghouls before dismissing them and returning to the graveyard. He saw the group of ghouls passing him as they flew towards her part of the Shadow Isles. For the first time in a few decades a small grin could be seen on the Gravedigger's face, he knew that his ghouls would do what they had been told, and soon he'd know what she was up to.

Elise had a great deal on her mind both good and ill. She was becoming quite intrigued by the dark summoner. He would make a strong ally but the risks were high indeed. She didn't want to think of the costs if they failed and found themselves in the hands of the king. It was such thoughts that caused her to miss the eyes that had been on her since she had entered her lands.
When she arrived at the cave that was her home. While some would call it disgusting to live in a cave filled with spiders it was paradise to her. Dark, quite and filled with her beloved children. What more could a girl want. She noticed the agitation in her lovelies but didn't think on it. She was weary from the boat and walk. All she wanted to do was relax. "You would not believe what has happened my lovelies. Azazel is a very interesting man. I think I choose wisely to side with him instead of staying loyal to the king. I think he will appreciate me and not seek to humiliate me by choosing other females when I am obviously the better woman."
Elise continued to speak to her children but nothing of import. Before long she was resting her eyes and dozing in her chair.
The ghouls sent by the Gravedigger had reached her domain just before she had, they had taken some hiding spots inside and outside her cave. Some of them were really close to being discovered by some of her children, but they managed to stay hidden.
When the Spider Queen began talking to her children that filled the cave, the ghouls payed even more attention to their enviroment, listening to every word she uttered. The ghouls that hid inside the cave managed to slip out, just barley slipping past some spiders that entered the cave.
The Gravedigger was busy finishing a grave when the ghouls came back to him, he looked at them as they made their way up to him. "I assume you have gotten some information from her." The Gravedigger said and waited for the ghouls to tell him what they had witnessed."Spider... Azazel... Betray... King" the larger ghoul uttered. "Ha...Ha.. HAHAHA... I never thought the Spider Queen to be so foolish to do so, maybe I'll pay her a visit." Yorick replied, stepping away from the grave he began moving towards the Spider Queen's domain. As he walked, he was joined by some ghouls that came out from the forest and moved across the graveyard.
The same grin from earlier appeared on his face again, he had threatened the Spider Queen before. But this time it was not a threat, he was going to bring her to the Ruined King and explain what he had learned.
A few hours later the Gravedigger moved across the Spider Queen's domain, his ghouls following him closely, the group had started out at around three when he left the graveyard, now when he was in her domain, the group had increased to seven. He knew that she kept a lot of spiders in her cave, unlike her, he could raise new minions without having to wait for them to mature.
The walk took longer than he had expected, during the walk to the cave he noticed quite a few bodies hanging from trees, completely wrapped in webbing from a spider.
He eventually appeared at the entrance of her cave. The tapping sounds from spiderlings moving around in the cave revealed the amount of spiders she had in there. He lift up his shovel into the air and slammed it against the cave wall, the sound of metal hitting stone resonated throughout the cave. "KNOCK KNOCK ELISE...!” Yorick shouted. He looked at his minions and made sure they were prepared to fight the Spider Queen when she came out.

Only moments before she had been relaxing and had her eyes closed trying to forget all the stresses that had occupied her thoughts. Then she heard Yorick. She had no idea what he was thinking coming to her domain. Everyone knew how much she detested people coming to her inner sanctum. Her home. He had better have a damn good reason or she would not be happy.
When she arrived at the cave opening and saw Yorick and behind him scores of ghouls it felt like she was sinking. This wasn't good. But what could he possibly know? She had been very careful. She hadn't been off her guard until she was safely in her cave. Still the sinking feeling persisted. "What do you think you are doing here Yorick! With an army no less! The king will not be happy when I tell him what you have done."
She approached with as much confidence as she could muster considering the position she was in. Her spiders fanned out around her as much as the confined cave entrance would allow. "Leave this instant and I may just forget that you so rudely invaded my home."
Yorick stood there and waited for a few minutes before he saw the Spider Queen emerge from the cave. He kept grinning as she talked to him. His ghouls looked at each other then back at Elise and her spiders, waiting for Yorick to do something. "You know very well why I am here, Elise." He said and gripped his shovel tighter, "No, the King will not be happy when /I/ tell him what you are /doing/."
The Gravedigger's tone was quite serious as he confronted Elise. He could see that she was a bit nervous. He chuckled at her and turned around and walked a few steps, turning around again once he was behind his ghouls. Surely Elise would understand what this meant "You are coming with me, Elise, whether you want it or not!" He said and raised his voice, "Minions, attack, don't kill the Spider Queen, our king will want to have a word with her!"
The ghouls looked at the Gravedigger and smirked before turning their attention to Elise and her spiders, rushing forward with their hands stretched out ready to claw at anyone or anything in their way. Meanwhile the Gravedigger stood behind them with an evil smirk, "Haha... HahAH... HAHAHAHA... What are you going do to... Spider Queen?"

He knew! She didn't know how but he somehow knew! It was all she could do not to curl into a ball right then and there. It was only her anger at Yorick for somehow finding out her plans as well as the feeling that she hadn't done what she was supposed to accomplish yet. She had no idea what it was but she was almost certain it involved Azazel. The thought that she wouldn't see him again was surprisingly the one thing that she refused to accept. That is when she thought about it. The calling stone. She subtly pulled it out and pushed a small amount of magic into it to make the call. The signal she put into it was urgent. She wasn't stupid. With this many ghouls and her obviously unprepared he held the distinct advantage.
She knew he wouldn't try to kill her. No, he hated her far to much to let her get away with a simple death. No, he wanted her to die in as much pain as could be. The king would torture everything out of her and then her death would be as terrible as possible. She couldn't allow that to happen. "I hate you Yorick." That was all that was left to be said.
As the Ghouls rushed her she cast a spell and one of her spiders rushed forward to greet them filled to the point of exploding with venom. She quickly transformed into a spider and Repelled to the top of the cave ceiling,
He looked at her as she transformed into her spider form. The rest of the ghouls began attacking the spiders that filled the cave entrance. The ghouls were simple beings, but they weren't stupid, they knew how to fight, lifting up the spiders in their legs before trying to finish them off.
Not all ghouls were able to do it though, out of the six still alive, two failed at this and was instead ripped apart by the spiders.
The Gravedigger looked at the walls in the cave, noticing bodies hanging embedded in webbing. He raised his hand and aimed at a few of the corpse sacks, "Rise, fight those who killed you!." He commanded. Two of the corpse sacks began twitching a little and soon two gray-white ghoul crawled out of the stomach area and made it's way to it's brethren.
Meanwhile Yorick looked up at the Spider in the roof, "Come down here you filthy coward. Face your faith, traitor!"

This was a real mess. She hoped Azazel came quick. She couldn't help but worry that he wouldn't come at all. They hadn't known each other that long. While she knew she would come for him if he called she wasn't sure if he felt the same. He wasn't exactly known for his compassion or loyalty. She had no choice but to put her life in his hands. She hoped it wouldn't be her doom.
She saw the ghouls crawling out of webbing. God damn it. The last thing she needed was even more ghouls. If he continued into the cave this would get really ugly. There were a great deal of the dead in her cave. She looked below and watched for an opening to attack Yorick directly. Despite the amount of her children in the area they weren't a match against the ghouls. Without there greatest weapon, there venom. They simply couldn't defeat the amount of ghouls that Yorick brought with him.
"You have the nerve to call ME the coward?! Send the ghouls away and lets have it out gravedigger! Ambush me in my home after spying on me?! Truly brave Yorick. Truly. I always knew you were weak but your tactics show me that not only are you weak but you are cowardly!"
Despite the fact that she knew this was a ploy to get her down from the roof so he could overwhelm her with his ghouls she refused to let her children die for her without her fighting at there side. She repelled down at the grave digger with her sharp legs and fangs ready to rend the undead flesh from his body.
The gravedigger had moved his attention from Elise to the ghouls and her spiders. Everywhere he looked he could see his minions ripping through her children, yet the spiders showed no fear. He knew that it was little the spiders could do against them, especially now that the one thing that made Elise deadly was ineffective against his minions.
He had just raised his head when he saw the Spider Queen repelling down at him. He rose his arm to protect his face from her sword like legs as she landed upon him. With his right hand be began hitting with his shovel above him. Her leg had penetrated the skin on his left arm and left a wound that would normally cause the wounded to fall down in agony, but as undead you aren't as receptive to pain as mortals are. "Ahahahaha... The moment I turn away you attack... You. Filthy. Wench." He began moving backwards out of the cave. If Elise didn't prevent him or jumped off, his ghouls would move out of the cave as well and attack her instead.

She zeroed in on Yorick as he turned away just before she started her attack. It was far to late by the time he turned back toward her and tried to defend himself. Her legs dug deep into his flesh. The attack would normally be a crippling blow that would mean her victims death shortly after to her venomous fangs. Unfortunately all her usual attacks held no real threat against Yorick being that he was already dead. His counter attacks with his shovel on the other hand were quite potent. He was stronger then he looked and it took a good deal of tenacity to keep from being knocked away.
She saw what Yorick was trying to do in trying to take the fight outside. If she allowed it to happen the fight that was looking grim for her would become even more one sided. She attacked at his feet and tried to trip him up in webbing attacking with several spiderlings in skittering frenzy. The frenzy of the attacks gaining her a small amount of strength back. She had to survive this. She couldn't let him take her to the king.
The gravedigger felt a spiderling getting crushed under his foot as he stumbled towards the exit of the cave, he could probably win against her inside the cave too, but close quarter combat was not his specialty. The ghouls began to return to Yorick, pulling in Elise's legs to get rid of her. Attacking her limbs and her children around him.
He felt his strength decrease slightly from the constant attacking from both Elise and the small annoying excuses for spiders. Yorick got closer to the exit, but just as he was about a meter away from the exit his foot got caught on another spiderling. He tipped forward and just barely had time to brace against the hit, using his shovel and his left arm to break the fall.
He was getting really annoyed with the Spider Queen's 'children'. He got up on his feet again and stumbled outside, still having Elise in her spider for attacking his back, making him wince a little. "You annoying little harlot." He growled and grabbed her closest leg with his two hands. For the first time in a long period of time he let go of his shovel and started to pull Elise off him. If she was unable to keep latched onto him, he'd toss her onto the ground before grabbing his shovel again.
Azazel sat in the darkness of the room he had rented, though he had no need for sleep and the cold of the night did nothing to affect him, he was feeling confused and needed somewhere he could think in silence. The wild had the constant howls of the animals, they did not welcome such an abomination as himself in their territory. This particular in was secluded and had only a few guests as it was on the outskirts of a simple farming community. The Undead Summoner had requested no one disturb him, and noted he would be gone before morning.
Azazel held a small seemingly ordinary stone in his outstretched palm, his cyan eyes stared at the stone, but he paid no attention to it. Lost in the thoughts of her, the Spider Queen. Such an intriguing creature, something about her put the Summoner on edge, yet he was drawn to her at the same time. His memories flickered back to the coast of Noxus where he met with her, the way she moved, the smile she held. He closed his eyes and frowned, this was not part of the plan. His hand closed around the stone before he stood and began to pace the room. A piece of him he had buried long ago stirred, it was met with anger. This was not supposed to happen.
Azazel hissed as a sudden heat flared in his hand, his eyes snapped open to look at the stone as it reacted to its sister being touched by magic. "Elise." He hissed under his breath, she was upon the isles last he heard. Had someone found her? His eyes flared brightly with cyan spiritfire as he immediately began to channel his magic. He had told her to only use it in an emergency when there was no other option, and he would come.
He began whispering the incantation, weaving the magic around himself order to transport himself to the place he had betrayed in front of not only the king itself, but in full view of many others. There was no doubt in his mind he would be killed on sight should he be seen by anyone loyal to the Ruined King. The magic began to crackle loudly about him, sickly green sparks of magic could be seen swirling around Azazel's form. It felt like it was tearing him apart as the incantation drew to a close and he disappeared from the Inn leaving no trace that we was there other than black scorch marks upon the wooden floors.
Some time later upon the isles:
Azazel dropped to one knee in a flash of dull green light, pain racked at his body as the spell took its toll on his undead body, his hands shook and a near blinding pain crashed through his mind causing him to stay in place to recover for some time. He stood with a grunt, still clutching the burning stone tightly in his hand while he took in where he was, somewhere near the coast by the sound of things... Which coast he was unsure as of yet, but he could hear the ocean and feel the dead air, an indication he was indeed upon the isles. Shadowy trees could be seen off in the distance. Azazel was standing in a field of dead grass, no sign of life (or unlife) anywhere to be seen.
The stone pulled ever so softly toward the north, toward Elise's domain. The robes around Azazel began to quiver while his body dissipated into the black smokey form, who ever had caused Elise to summon him would pay dearly. Into the sky a pillar of black smoke would rise and shoot off toward Elise's territory.

Elise was just about to start gouging out pieces of Yorick when the ghouls pulled on her rear legs and prevented her lunge at him and made her fall forward for a moment. She shrieked in anger as Yorick made for the exit once again. She would not let him escape. Not for this. He had both invaded her home and he and his ghouls had destroyed so many of her children. They littered the floor with there bodies. She would have her revenge for this.
She tried to make her way towards Yorick but the ghouls proved that they could be just as annoying as there maker. The two ghouls that held her legs started to do there best to pull the legs right out of there sockets. Elise screamed again. This time in pain. In her current form it was very difficult for her to get into a position to get free. In some ways she wasn't as flexible in her spider form and it took far longer then she wanted to get free from the two and a great deal of the damage was done. While not pulled out of there sockets her two back legs were greatly damaged and both hurt greatly and hampered her mobility. She forced herself to leave the ghouls and make her way back after Yorick.
At Yorick's words her own temper flared. "You are just angry that no female will touch you, or even look at you if they have a choice you rotting pile of bones!" She really did wonder why Yorick seemed to hate females so much. Mother issues perhaps? She had gotten close again and Jumped on him and tried to gouge out his eyes but this time Yorick seemed to be ready and knocked her off and onto her back. Without her back legs she was struggling to get back up. This was not good. Not good at all.
Azazel descended feeling the presence of the sister stone nearby. The pillar of darkness spilling onto the ground from the sky like a waterfall of black smoke that seeped forth silently. Tendrils of dark inky smoke crawled along the damp earth, flooding around the trees of the dense forest that surrounded the area they were in. A pair of cyan glowing orbs appeared to emerge from the black smoke to observe the scene before them, Elise in a desperate grappling match with Yorick and his ghouls. Confusion flooded Azazel's mind, what had happened here? This was not part of any plan, this was compromising everything.
The black smoke pulled in upon itself, solidifying to create the physical form of Azazel, the cyan eyes usually held no emotion, but now? Now they flared brightly, the cyan energy ignited causing it to look like spiritfire had ignited within his eyes. The black summoner's hood he wore disappeared from his head to reveal the midnight black hair that fall across his shoulders, his black lips pursed together. As he watched the scene before him, yet as he drank in the scene before him, something else stirred within him, something he had no felt since being alive. Something he felt he had buried along with his humanity, Elise was in danger... And it made him feel.
Rage.
The black summoner robes tore themselves away from Azazel's form as he began to advance toward Yorick from behind. His hands balled into fists and he released the disguise that made him resemble what he was when human. Azazel made not a sound, his jaw tense, the black robe that had torn away from the Dark Summoner pulled back behind him, spreading wide creating the image of wings, the cyan energy in his eyes dissipated, revealing cold black wells of nothingness that bore into Yorick. The cold rage consumed Azazel, it was all he felt now. All he could think of was destroying the creature that had dared to harm Elise. The dark summoner knight raised his right hand and stopped his advance, "Yorick." he stated, his tone was cold yet the underlying rage was evident, "Release her. NOW." A swirling forceful blast of black magic erupted from his palm, crackling forward with thunderous force toward the Gravedigger, Azazel did not care if he killed the ferryman the Ruined King employed, he didn't care if he even had enough power to do so, but he would be damned if Yorick would take Elise from him.
Regardless of if the spell connected with Yorick or not, Azazel began to channel a spell he had learned long ago, it was unrefined and channeled through a want to harm the target through mind tricks, Yoricks vision would flood black, everything, every detail, every sound would escape his senses other than those supplied by Azazel. All Yorick could see would be the reaper, even at the range he was to Elise, the Gravedigger would be unable to see her or his ghouls, only capable of seeing Azazel's reaper appearance in a void of black.
As the Spider queen laid before him on her back, he grabbed his shovel firmly and was just about to strike at her with it when he heard his name getting called out from behind him. Azazel... The summoner's spell arched out towards him just as he turned around to face him. Missing him just barely, scratching his shoulder. The Gravedigger smirked and looked at Azazel and noticed how his surrounding began to fade away.
The only thing he could see, was the Summoner that he had helped a few centuries ago. Yorick's smirk didn't fade, "I can see you are using your powers well... Azazel." The lantern that was hanging just above Yorick's head was well lit, but it didn't help him see anything else than the undead summoner before him. The darkness that engulfed Yorick did little to him, he was no stranger to the dark, let alone being by himself.
The lantern that moments before had been well lit flickered out as Yorick prepared a spell of his own. From the lantern came it's light into Yorick's palm, the pale light moving from him and out into the air before him. The light transformed into a revenant, created by the souls that resided inside Yorick's lantern. It took the shape of Yorick himself. "You may be strong, Azazel... But remember who made you what you are!" The Revenant grasped it's ghosty shovel and looked at the Summoner before him, as did the Ghouls that had been attacking Elise."Attack." Such a simple word, yet so powerful in the right hands. The Ghouls charged towards Azazel, followed by the spectral gravedigger. Even though Yorick couldn't see his minions, he knew they would obey.
