The night was still oh so young, and the Slasher was still on the prowl. Unfortunately, the next lovely young lady didn't know this. She was three years short of eighteen, though she was rebellious enough to sneak out past her curfew to enjoy the night life. She was of a fair complexion, her figure mature enough to make her look older than she actually was, her hair was the color of the sun and her eyes the color of the ocean. She was just the image of perfection, the kind of girl all the girls would drool over. Jaques had approached her as if he held interest in her, offering to buy her dinner and then to take her somewhere nice. The girl was vain enough to accept, though not without playing a bit of 'hard to get' first.
He had lured her onward, towards the nearest restaurant he could find, but just before reaching it he pulled her into the dark alleyway between the last and second-to-last buildings on the way and there he did the deed. His knife gleamed under the pale moonlight, the red life liquid painting its edge, as he had watched her struggle momentarily. There was no hope for her, for he had cut deep into the jugular and made sure that it would be a Fatal Strike. Her voice had rasped, she had gurgled as blood poured unobstructed from the wound, and her short, labored breaths were like music to his ears. It only took her ten seconds to fall to the ground in a heap, dead as a doornail.
A new message was written on the wall near the girl's body, scribed in her own blood. A message that would remove all suspicion from Shaco and place all the blame on a new culprit, the true culprit:
"Death Is Here
Saucy Jack"
------
Not long after the murder, an ear-piercing scream was heard as a woman stumbled backwards out of the alleyway. Her face was pale and she looked like she had seen a ghost. In reality, she had found the corpse of the murdered girl and the message sprawled on the wall nearby. Her terror, however, was due to the shadowy figure that was hidden in the shadow of the alley. A wide grin was all that could be seen of his features, and in his hand he held a wicked knife stained and dripping with fresh blood.
"Oh dear, looks like your curiosity's going to be your undoing."
The Stranger's voice was almost melodic as he slowly emerged into the open street, advancing nonchalantly toward the woman that was now kicking at the ground in a vain attempt to back away. Other citizens saw the scene, one man shouted for someone to alert the authorities, but the woman was beyond salvation now. Jaques no longer cared who saw him now, now all he wanted was to end the life of the woman who was before him.
"But I'm not without mercy. I'll give you a chance to run to wherever you wish, but I guarantee you it won't save you at all. You have a five second head start, starting now!"
The woman didn't need to be told twice, she mustered all the strength she could to push herself to her feet and bolted down the street towards the Police Station. The direction was not lost on Jaques at all, as he sighed in disappointment at the predictable choice the woman made. But nevertheless he immediately gave chase, going a very slow pace at first to allow the woman some distance but after about a minute dashing madly after her.
He almost seemed to fly down the street as he cackled maniacally to himself, looking as if he were thoroughly enjoying himself!

((Now you're killing fifteen year olds!? D: You monster!))
Vi gave Shaco another quick glare. "What was that you said, cracker--" but she cut herself off when she heard a scream in the distance. She snapped upwards, her gauntlets hissing as she got to her feet. "Oi, that can't be good. Corporal!" A younger police officer wandered into the interrogation room, fumbling with a pen. "Yes'm?"
She pointed at Shaco. "Watch after him. Make sure he doesn't escape. And if he tries anything funny, laugh, or he'll gut you." With that, she left the stuttering officer behind, dashing out of the police station in the direction of the scream.
After about a minute, she saw a woman running for her life from a strange man, an assailant wearing dark cloaks. "Oi! You there! What are you doing?" She took a quick hop and made a mad dash for the woman as well, meaning to get between her and the assassin.
((I finally looked at your profile...did I see a Jaykoboy power rating on there? ))

After a few minutes or so a certain Enforcer came into view, as the woman running for her life was about ready to celebrate. Jaques stopped in his tracks as he found himself confronted by Vi, the Piltover Enforcer, a Champion of the prestigious League of Legends, and his quarry continued to run after thanking her savior.
"It's rude to interrupt!" The Slasher's exclamation was followed by a scream that was cut short, as he had vanished into thin air. His laughter could be heard behind Vi, then, and when she turned she would find Jaques standing over the body of the woman who had been running, her throat slashed and his knife bathed in her blood. His grin was ever present, as he leered at Vi ominously with eyes that didn't exist.
"And now, you have my full attention! So, how can a help such a lovely little poppet like yourself?"
Shaco leaned as far as his restraints allowed him to to get a better view of Vi running out of the office, just as another officer did before her. He then turned to the corporal responsible of guarding him.
"Why hello there young man!" Shaco greeted the officer, grinning as always. The officer looked up from his clipboard, grunted, and then resumed examining the rather featureless clipboard, clearly disinterested in his work.
"Why don't we play a little game, hmmmm?" Shaco asked, his eyes blinking a couple of times in rapid succession. The officer again only slightly glanced at Shaco, before returning to his clipboard examining.
The Jester was frustrated, so he continued to sweet talk the man. "If you slip me out, right now, you can be OFF DUTY! Imagine, escaping from this dreary job. You could be doing whatever you wanted right now, but instead you're watching me. And if I'm gone, then you don't have anyone to watch, which means that YOUUUUUuuuuuuu don't have ANY work!"
Shaco smilied, trying to scoot the chair closer to the young officer, but failing after several attempts. "Whadda ya say, pal?" The officer finally spoke.
"Sir, I don't believe you understand how Piltover operates. We do not take bribes from regular street burglars, much less an insane clown like yourself." The officer pointed to Shaco's original spot. "Now, if you please."
Shaco sighed, and tried scooting the chair back to its original spot, but instead fell face first onto the cold stone floor. "Oof!" Shaco grunted, releasing a wheeze as he hit the ground.
"Um... a little help here?" Shaco asked, craning his neck towards the officer. The man finally smiled for once. "Like I said. We. Don't. Take. Bribes." The officer smirked. Shaco moaned, then returned to his old hobby of staring at a crack in the ceiling.

((Really? I thought I made him as incompetent as possible with as few words as possible...
Come! Follow me, oh joker clown! To your DESTINY!))
Vi whirled around just as the woman was killed. She cringed as her body fell to the floor. "Well, that's just nasty." The pistons in her gauntlets hissed into position, working up force. "You know that's against the law, right?"
With that, she crouched down on the ground, holding her gauntlet towards the ground. "And you know that when someone breaks the law, I get to smash them, right?"
With that, the pistons in her gauntlet hissed out with a sudden burst of speed, hitting the concrete and sending her flying with a quick *crack* from the pavement. She flew through the air, her fist extended for the criminal's face.

((Oh please, I always make a fool out of myself.))
After watching the crack on the ceiling do nothing for another hour, Shaco heard tons of commotion outside. Who was he kidding? He had to join in on the fun! After all, he was Valoran's best and brightest jester!
Shaco looked up at the officer, still staring at his clipboard. Occasionally he would look at the jester lying tied up on the floor, and smirk slightly, then continue his clipboard staring. Eventually, Shaco started to see a pattern occur. The officer would look at him, then stare, then look at him, then stare. However, the time in between clown glances was becoming longer and longer.
After the tenth glance at Shaco, the jester began sliding on the floor as stealthily as he could. He had spotted his shivs in a collection bin on the other side of the room. He would need to get across the room before the officer looked at him again. Shaco measured the amount of time to be approximately two minutes after the officer looked at him again.
Silence. The lone clock in the room ticked ominously. More silence...there! The officer had looked at him again. Waaaaaaaait...now! The Jester scooted along the floor as fast and as silently as possible. The clock was still ticking. A minute and a half. Three fourths of the room to go.
Shaco increased his speed, not concentrating on the clock or the officer. He couldn't waste precious seconds glancing at either one of them. One minute. Shaco was more than halfway across the room, and he was under the table, scooting even faster this time. The officer was still staring at his clipboard, oblivious as to what the Jester was doing.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock. Thirty seconds were left. Shaco was out from under the table, and the bin was within sight. He began to hear tiny scraping sounds of the wooden chair legs meeting the stone floor. Shaco winced, however, the officer still hadn't seen or heard him.
Finally, he reached the bin. Shaco realized too late that there was no way the he could reach inside the bin, much less retrieve his shivs. He tried thinking of something. Shaco was not aware that his estimated time was up, however, the officer still had not looked up from his clipboard.
Shaco shook his head in frustration, accidentally knocking down the bin on top of him. This made a huge amount of noise, causing the officer to look up. He finally spotted Shaco, and immediately ran towards him. "Hey!" He yelled.
((Part two of this post is gonna come later, just wanted to get something out quickly.))

Jaques cackled maniacally at Vi's words, but did little else besides simply stare at her. The parts of his knife not stained red gleamed ominously in the pale moonlight of the night, and strangely enough began to let off a few crimson wisps.
"The law? Who cares about something so trivial? Only mortals care for their own order so much that they would hold such shallow concepts above their very own lives."
He spoke, but it didn't seem like what he said mattered to Vi, as she had already begun her assault. Her fist.....collided with nothing, as the Bloodmist Slasher had stepped to the side, gracefully evading not only the huge gauntlet that was thrown at him but also the Enforcer herself as he seemed to dance upon the tips of his boots, carelessly letting her momentum take her out of his immediate person.
"You know, it's been quite a while since I last had my prey struggle and actually try to hit me! How amusing that you think your little toys will help you here, but I don't mind putting in just that much more effort to carve into that pretty little neck of yours!"
And with that, Jaques extended his free hand to make a challenging gesture at the Piltover Enforcer.

((But...but...I NEVER miss my vault breaker!))
Vi hit the ground and rolled, landing on her feet after a meter or so. She looked up at the assassin. "Oh, you are SO going to get it." She stood up and dusted herself off. As he gestured at her, she smirked. "You think you're so hot with that knife of yours and your twinkle toes, but if I can smash a multi-story void monster, I can DEFINITELY break YOU!" She ran at him, swinging with incredible force and precision for his face.

Jaque's mouth curled into a frown as he feigned terror at the former criminal's pugnacious words. In actuality he was quite amused at her boldness and bemused by her sheer power of will which drove her to want to take him down. Well, two could play that game, and unfortunately for Vi, Jaques was an unrepentant serial killer in life. The specter figured that it'd be too boring to just strike a champion like the Enforcer down without allowing her SOME retaliation, even if he couldn't technically die as he was already dead he should give her a chance to fight for her life if only to show her just how insignificant and useless life really was.
This time Jaques was sent tumbling from Vi's gauntlet connecting right in his mouth, the only feature of his face not obscured by supernatural shadows. The Slasher didn't feel any pain from the impact, as he was a ghoul beyond his mortal coil, but that didn't mean his ego wasn't hurt at least a small bit. At the end of his journey he laid face down on the pavement, silent and motionless, and if one didn't know any better they might even he had lost consciousness. But his sinister cackling which soon came made any hopes of all the death being over futile, as he pushed himself to his feet with his free hand, staggering only a bit once he was up as he grinned wickedly at Vi.
"Wow, you've got a mean right hook! You're sending shivers up my spine, and I don't even have one! Let's make this interesting, shall we?" His words were followed by the manifestation of an unnatural mist, which began from Jaques' feet and quickly spread out to cover the block. This mist would obscure Vi's vision, even with technology, as it was supernatural in origin and meant to hide away its progenitor's movements. From elsewhere in the mist, Jaques' voice called out to the Enforcer. "Now then, little girl who's playing with toys, try not to die too quickly!" Immediately after those words Jaques struck out with his knife from somewhere to her right, and if it was dodged or blocked it would vanish instantaneously.

Vi stood still, keeping an eye out as the mist surrounded her. But she wasn't prepared for the lower jab to her right. It pierced her skin right between the slits, leaving a deep cut. "Oi! You bastard!" She whipped around, wincing as she bled. "Why don't you fight like a...a..." She struggled to find a word to describe what he was. "...well, a man, I guess!"
Even though she was wounded, it was mostly superficial. She still managed to raise an arm and slug through the mist in the direction of the blade, if not connecting with the man's head, at least dispersing some of the mist for a moment.

After the knife had retreated back into the mist, it became obvious from Vi's retaliatory punch that the Slasher was no longer even in the direction she had targeted, almost as if he had never been there to begin with. The mist that dispersed revealed part of the street, at least, but only for a few seconds before covering the entirety of her surroundings. Everywhere she could possibly look was just the veil that the specter had conjured, which allowed not a single feature of the environment to be visible to the Enforcer.
"Come now, Dear Vi! Surely you can fight back with more ferocity than that! If not, then I can't fathom how you could have ever become a Champion of the League of Legends!"
Jaques' voice seemed to have come from Vi's left, this time, and sounded as though it were very close. However, as she punched that area she would discover with all due clarity that her assailant was neither there, nor here. Quite the contrary, as the Slasher's knife came down at her from her right side instead - the assassin in black had apparently feinted her, leading her to believe that he was in one spot even though he wasn't. Even though she could continue fighting, even she would come to realize that Jaques held the advantage so long as the Mist obscured her visibility. She would have to realize that she needed to disperse more of it at once, if not all of it, otherwise she might end up accumulating too many injuries!

Vi lunged to her left, aiming to break the assassin's jaw, and was narrowly missed by the knife coming from her right. She grumbled quietly to herself. I can't see a bloody thing in this fog...
She took a quick look around, observing her surroundings. She thought quickly; her punch earlier had dispersed the fog for a couple of seconds, even if not permanently. So maybe, if she tried hard enough, she could get rid of the fog and gain her advantage again.
"You know," she said, "this mist is really getting in the way of our fight, isn't it?" Pulling back her arm, she wound up to release a powerful punch. She wasn't aiming for anything in particular, just the mist. "How about I clear it up for us?" In the blink of an eye, her fist had cut through the mist, dispersing it. Before it could fill back up again, though, another punch, and another, cut through, faster than the human eye could blink. She was managing to clear a sizable area around her of the mist, her arms a blur of steam and metal.

Jaques was actually having quite a bit of fun toying around with his current prey, as he watched her struggle in futility against not only himself but the Shifty Mist that surrounded them. Although she couldn't see him, he could see her, and he was thoroughly amused at her inability to hit him. His own natural ability to manipulate the fog was truly a godsend, although he held no such faith as he believed nothing was almighty.
The Slasher believed that Death was the ultimate end. That none could truly escape it, and even the supposed immortal beings were only delaying the inevitable. Immortality, invulnerability, intangibility - all of these were merely vain attempts to conquer that which holds the infallible tenure: Death. Death was the beginning and the end. Death was inevitable, unstoppable. Everything was susceptible to Death's cold touch, irregardless of ability or stature. He knew that even he, too, was fated to succumb to the cold and emptiness of Death's embrace.
He didn't particularly care about the Ruined King, whom he'd sworn fealty to. He knew that even an individual such as that would fall and meet its final end. Jaques would serve the Shadow Isles' pretend ruler only until he was taken down, then the Slasher would simply continue his work as if nothing had ever happened. But that was neither here nor there, as he needed to focus on the quarrel at hand. And, much to his surprise, Vi had begun attacking seemingly at random. He merely stood there and stared, watching her throw her gauntlets around without a care in the world. But then it dawned on him, too late, what she was doing as he watched the Mist around them quickly dissipate, revealing their surroundings and leaving the two of them standing in the light from the Luna and the buildings near them.
"Well....How clever of you!" Jaques exclaimed as he clapped his hands in mocking congratulations. "You managed to get rid of my Shifty Mist, and now you can see me. I have nowhere to hide now, and it's all because you have those big ol' fists of yours!" He didn't seem to be worried, or even care that there was nothing to keep Vi from attacking him head on. If anything, he was looking more forward to seeing how well she could fend him off from this point on.
Shaco winced as the officer finally busted him. There was a second of silence and pure tension, as neither the Jester nor the officer moved. Shaco, being more experienced then the officer, made the first move.
He had noticed his binds were slashed by his shivs which had fallen on him, however, they weren't completely severed.Shaco backed up against the shivs, and was rewarded with sight of the ropes falling to the floor.
The officer immediately reacted, charging at Shaco, his baton wide. The Jester rolled on the floor to evade a strike, then jumped on top of the table. He needed to get his shivs, and then he would be on even ground with the officer.
However, the young policeman had other ideas. He dragged the table a couple of feet, causing Shaco to slip due to this sudden change in movement. He hit his head flat on the table, and the officer took advantage of this, tipping the table in the opposite direction.
Shaco's body was slammed to the floor. The officer smirked, then grabbed the chair Shaco was tied up in. He took one last look at the Jester's slumped down form, then used all of his force against the Jester, whacking him with the chair as hard as he could.
Nothing happened for a second, then knives burst out of Shaco's body. The officer was hit by a few, but he was more surprised then wounded.
"BOO!" Shaco slammed the officer against the wall, promptly knocking the man out cold. He didn't want to kill the officer, he was rather amused at the sarcastic way he treated Shaco.
The Jester grabbed his shivs, then opened the door, slowly slinking out of the room. The last thing he heard was the baton cracking down on his skull, seeing another officer stationed outside the door. Clearly they had anticipated Shaco to escape.
"Oh, bugger. Looks like the circus is out of town." The last sound Shaco made was a groan of disappointment, before he was promptly dragged back into the interrogation room.

((>.> I hate to admit it, but...help me, Shaco of the boxes. You're my only hope.
Unless I get lucky and break Jack's shiv. Or Caitlyn shows up.))
Vi gave Jack a defiant glare. "You know, you could make this easy on yourself and just give in. The prison serves cupcakes you know. But you don't seem like a cupcake sort of guy, eh?"
She started running for Jack, preparing to throw a right hook that feinted into a left uppercut. If that connected, she'd leap into the air after Jack and throw him back down.
