The Master and the Broken Blade

Cordellia's anger was slowly beginning to boil, as it always had when in a fight since her parents death. There was an improvement on how she managed it though, instead of simply giving in and going all out, Cordellia used the anger to focus. Focus on the things she could not force to change, the death of her parents, the suffering of the families that felt the loss of the small scale skirmishes that still broke out between Noxus and Demacia on occasion. So many things she couldn't change, such as Master Yi's movements. She simply had to focus, not on what she could not change or what had happened, but simply on reacting so that she couldn't be hurt by any of it. Not the loss, not the suffering and not the attacks of Master Yi.

A grim, determined expression came across her face as she focused intently, channeling the anger into focusing solely on the fight. She moved to intercept the jab at first, only coming to realize it was a feign at the absolute last moment, barely moving out of the way of the sweep. In retaliation she ducked and dropped her left shoulder before raising her right fist and kicking off toward Master Yi's right in a sudden burst of speed, her fist aimed toward his chest in an attempt at winding him.
