"Do not thank me yet. You have an alliance, but if the Elders decide that you are to get anything out of it is a different matter. Leona replied. The actual terms of the alliance still had to be ironed out, and if certain Elders were as crafty as Leona would expect them to be, they would make the alliance one in name alone. However, it was a step forward. Leona would do what was in her power to make sure that their agreement would be more than superficial. "We must wait some time while the Elders work out how the Solari and your order will remain in contact, as well as other things. Is there anything you would wish to see here or is there something you wish to do?"

"Hmm... So we're not out of the water yet." Lucian knew they could get something going, the more the better. Just a question of where to next, the main idea was to stick to smaller organizations. Who knows if they would all work together, but that was the point. They don't need to like each other, just have a common enemy that poses a larger threat. As is the Order was still being careful about this, before the invasion and Lucian joining the League they were nothing but an obscure group of people that was rarely talked about or even known about for that matter. "I wouldn't mind doing some sight-seeing, this place seems to have interesting history, just like the Temple back home."

"Very well, then. There are quite a few things of interest here, especially if history is a subject which you enjoy. Come, follow me." Leona gestured for Lucian to follow, and then started off through the temple, headed in the general direction from where they had come. They passed by the entrance, the large bronze doors now sealed shut, and went straight forward into the temple. After but a bit of travel they came into a large chamber. The most prominent features, by far, were the statues which occupied its center. A mass of thirty men and women, their marble forms armored and wearing winged helmets, each of them holding a sword perfectly vertical with both hands on the grip, stood in perfect formation behind a single man, in an identical pose, wearing armor that could only be described as what Leona's would look like if made for a man, and carrying a blade identical to hers. The structures were so eerily lifelike it was as if every one of them were there, in person. Their countenances each held a powerful gaze, and at first sight it might seem as if every one of them were identical. It would take but a moment of observation to note the subtle differences in each and every face, each was modeled after a different person, a person who achieved such a reputation in life that they became the subject of legends, and their forms were carved into marble to be forever preserved, even after death. "These thirty one you see before you are the statues of the first Avatar of the Sun, the founder of the Solari, Anatolios, and his company of thirty elite warriors, the Sunlight Guard. It is Anatolios' sword and blade that I wield, and it is his armor I wear. The man was a mighty warrior in life, and a virtuous and noble one. He was chosen by the sun, given the same power that I now wield, and with it, he purged the world of evil where he could find it. The soldiers that followed him became the Solari, and he was their sole leader, other than the sun itself. He passed, eventually, as almost all great warriors do, when his luck ran out in combat and he was struck down. However, his legacy still lives on, with the Solari, and with myself. It is truly an honor and immense responsibility, to carry the title and mission of such a man." Leona spoke of Anatolios with such unmistakable reverence. It would be so very evident to Lucian the immense regard in which she held him. She paused for a while, smiling slightly, her eyes still fixed on the thirty one statues before her, giving Lucian ample time in which he could ask questions.

Lucian would nod and follow the Radiant Dawn as she led him to a temple and a massive chamber. His eyes would look over every statue, they appeared to be wielding the same armament as Leona, interesting. Were they each an avatar at one point? He knew his temple had their own way of showing their history, of course most of it was in paintings or on the stained glass, as well as the Order's book, not many got to see any of it of course. It was then that she started explaining the history of the statues. His eyes continued to slowly look at them. As she stopped he would look at her and ask solemnly. "Who struck him down?"

Leona exhaled slightly at the question. She had hoped for something slightly less grim to be asked, but nevertheless, it was a question, and she would answer. "A better question might be not who, but what. Truth be told, I do not know. None know, save for him and whatever could have struck him down.". Leona paused. Her expression was more somber than before, the thought of the death of the legend whom she held in such high regard was no enjoyable one. "It is better, I think, that the question remains unanswered, even if it is just so that some can hold in their minds the unlikely belief that he may yet be alive, somewhere, and take hope from it.". Leona's eyes met that of the statue, and they held there for the next few seconds, whatever emotional response she had to the statue was indiscernible. She broke the statue's gaze, and then turned her head to Lucian, who she had not faced until now. "Do you have any further questions, or should we move on?"

Lucian hadn't expected her reaction or the answer. Of course the question was fueled by his own revenge. He'd remain silent though, his eyes on the statue of Anatolios. Wonder if he would one day have one, not anytime soon though. Almost ironic though he was fighting death in some way. As she spoke about her unlikely belief. His own mind would go back to a certain someone, he saw it happen but... Part of him had some hope, even if it was buried deep in there.
His head would turn back towards her, gazing at her eyes and shaking his head. "No questions."

"So be it." Leona replied, running through the list of locations in the temple that she could yet take Lucian to. There was the chamber beyond the one in which they stood, but that was reserved for but a select few. Several other options popped into mind. Being unable to decide herself as to which would be the more interesting for her visitor, she asked him. "Would you rather see and learn more of the legends you saw earlier, or view the Order of Iron as they train?"

Lucian thought about it for a few seconds, it would be interesting to see how they train, who knows it could be in some way like how they trained Purifiers, but at the same time learning more about their history might be interesting. Maybe they'll get to do both? He answered her. "I wouldn't mind seeing more of these legends, and maybe at one point if we have time we could see this training."

"Very well. If you will follow me." Leona gestured for Lucian to follow her as she started off down one of the corridors, one that Lucian would likely find familiar, as they had passed through it earlier. Leona carried on a bit further, until the two reached a point on the wall from which carvings began. Not much further down the hall was a room adorned with numerous statues, their forms rather similar to the mass of statues seen earlier, and yet different, but the same in their extraordinarily lifelike representations of the individuals whose countenance they sought to preserve for all history. "There are, of course, more legends and more episodes of history in this temple than these few walls and statues portray, but I will show you these for now. You will find both Rakkor and Solari history and legends here. If you wish for me to elaborate on any of them, do not hesitate to ask." There was such a multitude of scenes it was almost impossible to choose one with which to start. There was one legend which seemed to feature a man fighting against a fire breathing monster that was part lion, snake, and goat. Another seemed to feature a man fighting a woman with snakes for hair, but only looking at her by means of his shield. A long, prominently featured tale was one of a man, perpetually illuminated by sunlight, and his many endeavors across the land. There were many, many more tales etched into the walls, and Leona looked as if she would be more than glad to narrate each and every single one. All Lucian had to do was ask.
