July 1st, 23 CLE
Teemo comes to a halt at the opening to a decently sized clearing in the woods. He and the other scouts, along with captain Titus, has trudged since dawn through the forests of Ionia in search of the location of the Noxian assassin, and the sun was finally starting to set. They will have to set up a small encampment for the night, and possible mark this location as their temporary base of operations. Of course, they still appear to be Ionian farmers, and as such won't be able to stay long.
The scout captain turns and gives the others a small wave to come closer, gesturing for them to roll out their mats and blankets. Most give small nods or exhausted "alright"s as they move into the clearing to set up. There would be no tents, just a small fire for cooking and large mats rolled out to be slept on. Teemo turns to Titus as he approaches.
"Alright, Ty, time to set up our mat and turn in for the night. You remembered to bring a blanket, right?" Without waiting for a response, he grabs the other yordle by the wrist and drags him over to a flat enough spot, then removes his bamboo hat and sets it down, starting to roll out their straw mat.
The mat rolls down and... all there is just a mat. A mat without a blanket and the captain will get cold tonight. The scouts wouldn't steal his blanket, or at least planned to snatch it from him. And he wouldn't leave it on the temple grounds... unless Kennen stole it but that is way beyond and behind him. Point is, he forgot it and he might slug out in the cold in the middle of the night.
"No... crud. I might have... left it in the temple..."

Teemo grits his teeth and extends a finger angrily, ready to prod Titus' chest for calling him captain. However, the missing blanket makes him pause and sigh. He sets down his backpack next to their mats, then starts to lay one slightly over the top of the other. "Remember, Ty, stay in character. Call me Tee or something, just not my name or title. Oh, and since you don't have a blanket, that means we'll have to share. Luckily mine is big enough for the both of us."
This news seems like no problem for the scout captain, and as soon as he finishes laying out the mats he unrolls the large blanket he'd packed. Things like this seemed to happen often enough.
"Wait what? I think I'm better off without one, Cap- I mean Tee."
Maybe he'd be better off sleeping out in the cold. Two guys sharing the same blanket feels awkward for him. For Titus, maybe he can deny the blanket and just rely on his fur to keep him warm. The wind seems calm for the night (-seems-).

Teemo shakes his head, getting to his feet and putting an arm around the other yordle. He plasters a false half-smile on his face, obviously still pulling off his character, though his voice is still low and serious. "Nope. Farmers wouldn't leave each other to the cold. They've gotta stick together and work together to keep the crops alive, and the same goes for keeping each other alive. Don't tell me you're afraid of me, Ty."
He raises a brow and smirks, gently nudging Titus' chest with his fist. For a moment he's tempted to do it again, surprised at the bulk of the other's muscle, but instead he starts to determine the best uses someone of the other captain's strength would be.
"But us farmers don't cuddle together in the same blanket!" Titus hiss at Teemo in a quiet voice so that the other scouts don't catch wind of it.
He's a bit paranoid that he might have to sleep with the same scout that might do weird things while dreaming. The captain's the type of person that wouldn't be willing to share a bed with anyone. Now if Teemo's a girl... and a nice looking one at that...

Teemo frowns at this, folding his arms and tilting his head in slight annoyance. Something the other yordle said makes him feel that those previous rumors had had some effect on some people. His voice becomes a low hiss as well, accusing the other captain. "I never said we'd be cuddling, Titus. Why would you even think that? I was just offering to share the blanket like any good friend would. You don't have to be so defensive about it."
He narrows his eyes a little, gritting his teeth. It's obvious now that this disobedience is upsetting him, though the reason is still somewhat unknown.
"Just give me the damn blanket, you. As soon as we're done with this trip, we can forget about this!" Titus quietly fires back as he forcefully tugs the blanket close to him. His eyes dagger at the scout captain beside him. A slight friction heats up between the two captains and Titus isn't willing to back down, even if Teemo's the superior.

Teemo rolls his eyes, then huffs. For the first time he's starting to regret accepting the General's orders. Titus is just too dense to reason with. "Listen, Ty. Remember what you said back at the clothing store? About us having fun on this trip? I want to have good memories of this mission as well, and in order to do that we're going to have to work together and trust each other. You getting emotional is not going to help with that, so can we just set aside our differences and work as a team? I'm trying to help you."
He reaches over to place a hand on the taller yordle's shoulder, turning him so that their gazes meet. His is solid, yet shows there's truth in his words and a hint of compassion behind them.
Titus initially frowns away from Teemo's sight and extended willingness of compassion. But the captain cannot ignore that the scout wishes to be a fellow friend. He slowly turns his face towards the scout, revealing a guilty face.
"Sigh... alright. Maybe I didn't go off into a good start. I... I don' t know. I'm still angry at my father for shipping me off to this trip. And you leading it... it was..." Titus pauses while scratching his head in embarrassment. "...worse. I mean you're not a bad leader! I... I just thought that I can be the best... and..."
As he kept rambling on trying to directly avoid that word, at the same time he couldn't help but sometimes be jealous of the scout. Simply put prior to this moment, he thought that he deserved way better than Teemo truly had.

With a faint sigh, Teemo leans forward and gives the other captain a warm hug to stop his rambling. He isn't sure why at the time, but later he'll come to the conclusion that he chose to use a hug instead of a fist as a more peaceful way of telling Titus to shut his trap. "Alright, alright, no need to get worked up over it. I'll forgive you this time. Just... remember, if you show respect to your superiors, they'll respect you back. And, to be honest, I'm more of your equal than your superior, though until your father says otherwise I expect you to treat me as one. If you can do that, I'll make this as quick and painless for the both of us as I can. Deal?"
He pulls out of the hug, putting his hands on his hips and giving that cute, signature smile that he uses when wanting to confuse foes into thinking he isn't dangerous. Only this time it is genuine.

Teemo playfully nudges his fist into Titus' chest again, rolling his eyes. "Hey, it's a real smile this time. Besides, I'll need those fat arms and... body of your to carry a lot of the weight around here." He chuckles for a minute, then catches himself and remembers that farmers aren't supposed to be -too- happy.
He lays out the blanket with Titus, throwing down his extra gear next to the mat. For a moment he pauses to rest with hands on his hips, turning to watch the rest of his troops set up and pull out jars of various travel foods. Bought back in the city, of course. Teemo turns to Titus once more with a small smirk, giving him a thumbs up. "Looks like we're all set for tonight. How about we eat a bit then head to bed? Gotta get up early so we can really start looking for 'some good land' right away."
"I am getting hungry. So what'd ya bring?" Titus asks as he pulls out a meal of his own. He opens the jar and takes a small sniff inside. Unspoiled and still good to eat, the captain sighs in satisfaction. As he takes the first bite using a fork, his eyes shoot wide open from the amazing taste.
"This," he points to the jar. "This is what my father used to make me when I was a kid. Even if you let it sit for months without touching them, if you know how to preserve it then you can eat it. And my father is really keen about it."
((Assuming the scouts brought their own food, as well as Teemo's and Titus'.))

Teemo sits and opens a jar of his own, pulling out a pair of chopsticks he'd purchased. He'd personally gone and found a traditional noodle salad for him and the other captain, jarred to perfection. However, unlike Titus, he'd never had the pleasure of trying it before. He plunges his chopsticks into the mix of noodles and veggies and lifts out his first bite, but before it reaches his mouth he pauses to turn to Titus, a little confused. He keeps his voice low, just in case, but chances are there are no others in the area to see the disguised scouts at this time.
"Really? From what I understand it's just a peasant dish made with boiled noodles bathed in oil and a variety of vegetables mixed in. We don't have veggies like this back home though. I guess your dad is really a cool guy, huh?" He smiles a little, but sadly, and turns his attention back to his meal. The first bite is just as delicious as Titus made it appear.
