Fiora let out a breath as she heard the verdict. They weren't completely partial to it yet, but Demacia would still see that as a small victory. She let out a smile smile, but it was a genuine one.
'Very well,' she murmured, nodding. 'Zee caravan zat accompanied me 'ere can also accommodate an envoy of yours. We can lead 'im back to Demacia for discussions safely. Or if you'd like more time to prepare, I shall return to Demacia with zee dates of a future rendezvous, if you'd be so kind to provide me wiz zee details.'
She ended her short proposal and stood still. The matters at hand was delicate and time-sensitive but Fiora did not think it would be wise to rush the proceedings, hence the second option.

"We will dispatch an envoy with you as you leave here. There is no reason to delay proceedings further." the elder replied. "We only require a few moments to find one and prepare him or her for the journey." "No need to search for one. I volunteer myself. I will bring Hector and Selen as escorts." Leona piqued in. "Very well. That finishes one part of preparation. I leave it to the Sun's chosen to finish the rest." The elder then nodded toward Leona, and resumed his seat. Leona would gesture for Fiora to follow her out of the room. The door would shut immediately upon their exit. "Do not feel the need to rush your preparations to leave on account of us. Take all the time you believe is necessary. We will be prepared to leave as soon as you are." Leona would not linger to hear out the reply, but instead would raise her hand in the air, gesturing for someone to come to her, at the same time shouting out two names. "Hector! Selen!" The rest of what she said would be incomprehensible to anyone who did not understand the language of the Rakkor. Two figures with identical equipment to the guards flanking Leona when Fiora first saw her rushed forward and followed Leona as she took off down one of the temple corridors. Fiora was now left largely unsupervised, save for the occasional armored or cloth garbed figure that would pass by. She could wander the temple freely, or return to the entrance where the rest of her countrymen waited.

Fiora would've been lying if she had said she wasn't interested in exploring the temple. The Solari's proceedings seemed calm and orderly, and the building itself was grander than half of Demacia. They may be sun-worshipping mountain-dwellers, according to some, but they were civilized.
But the Laurent ignored the petty urges and made her way back to the entrance, albeit slower than necessary. As she approached her men, she made sharp instructions for them to prepare to leave immediately.
'We will make a swift journey back to Demacia.'
The soldiers would be ready again quickly and Fiora turned back to look down the entrance for Leona and her guards. She did not know how the Radiant Dawn felt about a Demacia-Solari alliance. But she felt far more relaxed, knowing that she would be not be returning empty-handed. Once they arrived in the capital, it would be all up to Jarvan.

It took only a few moments for Leona to emerge from the entrance with her guards. The sheer quickness of their preparation spoke volumes of the immediate adaptability of the Rakkor and their sheer efficiency. They were all dressed in half of their normal plate armor, the rest of it likely packed away in the large packs that each of them carried. Each of them had a small assortment of pouches and a satchel on them in addition to their pack to carry additional supplies. Each wore a shield on their back, a kite shield with a color scheme to mach their armor, and over the armor they wore they had a crimson cloak and hood. They each had a sword sheathed at the waist, ready for use in case their trip happened to be eventful.
Leona took a glance toward the Demacian caravan, and saw that they were already mobilizing to leave. She stepped down to the base of the temple stairs with her two guards, and then turned her head to address Fiora. "Are we to leave immediately?" she asked.

Fiora nodded in response. "Yes. Zee troops are ready." She eyed their armor briefly. At least she wouldn't have to worry about protecting their backs if they were attacked on the way home.
She called a few soldiers who were in the middle of hoisting the Demacian flag up again over. "Zey will need 'orses. Accommodate zem."
The soldiers nodded and rushed off to fetch horses for the three newcomers to ride. If Leona had no objections, they would ride off towards the west immediately. Fiora grimaced as she thought of the long journey back.

"I think I speak for my two companions here, as well as myself, when I say that we would prefer to be on foot." Leona replied, almost instantly. When it came to horses, all that Leona knew, and all that her two companions knew, as well, was how to bring one and it's rider down. None of them were instructed on how to ride one. Additionally, to Leona, the thought of having to trust in a living beast underneath her that could throw her off at any given moment was not a comforting one. "We should be able to keep pace on foot well enough, but if necessary, we will take your offer of horses."

Fiora paused, already on her beautifully groomed steed. She turned her face away to hide her expression. They would rather walk like the common foot soldiers?
"Very well," she replied curtly. "if zat is your wish."
Once the adjustment was made, the caravan began its journey back. The fact that they were returning so swiftly meant that they could afford to be more lax with the water and food, and the prospect of a heartier meal the next time they stopped invigorated the troops.
Fiora turned back before they turned the corner. She had been born in an insular Demacian culture and had seen little of the world that laid outside it before going to the League. The temple of the Solari was a foreign sight to the Demacian troops and her: a place of beauty in a place outside Demacia--preposterous....yet there was proof in front of their own eyes. The Grand Duelist huffed and turned back forward.
If nothing interrupted their descent down Mount Targon, the troops would be allowed to take a small break to eat and rest before heading on again. Regular intervals of breaks wpuld dictate their progress and every step would take them closer to Demacia.

The Rakkor seemed inexhaustible. Even though they were on foot they managed to perfectly keep pace with the rest, and every time they stopped to break they looked as if they could continue far, far onward. In fact, they seldom even ate, at most, one of them would consume an amount of food that would barely amount to a snack before getting up to continue onward. Additionally, they never spoke. Not even to each other, at most, a single gesture would be given to another. They were utterly silent.

If Fiora or the others felt intimidated by the newcomers, they kept it to themselves well. Eventually, the days blurred together as the caravan tirelessly continued west to their destination.
At last, the city-state of Demacia finally revealed itself one early morning on the horizon. Fiora's breath caught in her throat; she was nearly home. Even from afar, the imposing splendor of the city and its walls were apparent. The others shared the same excitement as the Laurent, and pushed on, eager to return home.
As they approached the gate, Fiora turned once more behind her towards the east. The slopes of Mount Targon could still be seen even from this distance and the Grand Duelist pursed her lips. She could see why the Solari decided the peak was the best place to practice their worship. It was as close to the sun as they could possibly get. The Grand Duelist sighed; Jarvan had better do a good job convincing Leona; it would be good for Demacia to have the sun on their side.
