Twisted Fate sighed, "What can Ah say Mai, most women can't resist me. However, yer' playin' a bit hard ta' get." He said as he eyed her from underneath his hat. Normally by this point women were kissing his hands, and often times.....well....yeah they really really liked him by this point.
However, Mai seemed immune or at least resistant to his charms. Which was quite the surprise, but at the same time...he enjoyed it. Evelynn was the same way, very much a free spirit, until they got further along in their relationship, "N' that just makes this game of ours a lot more fun. We'll see what Destiny has in store fer' us sooner or later, Ah reckon'."
The gypsy then turned his thoughts to Ionia, "So is there anythin' in particular Ah need ta' know bout' Ionia? Customs? What not ta' do, sides the obvious." Twisted Fate wanted to know as much as he could about Ionia. Knowledge is power, at least that is what he learned after having to fight off poverty, police, and mobsters in his youth. The more you know the better off you are.
"Maybe we will, maybe we won't~" She trailed the last word out with a smirk, leaning forward with her arms folding across the knobs of the wheel. A glint of her playful nature growing in her eyes, "Nothing beats the feeling of being free. Especially when you're this high up, fresh air blowing in your face, the world disappearing beneath the clouds.. Just.. living on the edge."
When he asked about customs, she'd shrug, "Just.. hm." Pondering at the question, "Not sure. I don't spend much time on the ground.. Everything's a little different up here."

Twisted Fate stood next to Mai, "Ah won't deny livin' on the edge has its perks. N' thanks fer' brin' me up here. Ah gotta say its pretty nice bein' up here, though it must get lonely from time ta' time." Surely it was the same feeling he felt when he was alone on the road. He figured she didn't get much company besides the occasional guest, like Twisted Fate. Maybe she bumped into Corki or Anivia from time to time?
"Well where do ya' often land? Near a town? If so we ought ta' see if there ain't anythin' goin' on or sights ta' see." The Cardmaster suggested. It was often what he did when he was bored or needed to see something funny....such occasions were rare. However, there was a chance that a town would have some information on what there was to do.
"Maybe." She shrugged a bit as she hit another switch to steady the ship's light sway a little. "Plenty of towns to see. Can't say they're very interesting. I make it a point not to piss off the locals." She gave him a smug grin, "Valoran is much more fun for that sort of thing. There's a festival of sorts coming up soon. You could check that out at some point." Shrugging a bit, "Uh.. I could.. Yeah I dunno. Ionia is small. It's beautiful, especially from up here. People are pretty relaxed."
Thinking on the lonely comment, she'd shrug a bit, "The point of being up here is feeling free. I don't bring people around much. It gets.. suffocating to have too many lingering about. This is my sanctuary." Looking up to him with a quick grin, "We could camp somewhere. I got sake downstairs, and plenty of goods if you want to spend the night just relaxing here. We can do some exploring in the morning."

"Ah yes the locals, too bad all of them are wary of me, cause' of mah reputation. N' partly cause' of mah heritage too." Twisted Fate replied, "Course' after a while ya' just get used to it. The comments the glares, all that stuff just kinda rolls off ya'."
A night relaxing without worrying about Graves or mobsters? That sounded nice for a change, after all who would look up in the sky, "Well Ah understand the sanctuary bit, but Ah would be delighted ta' camp out if the fair lady would enjoy mah company."
"Well you have two options then. You can camp up here, or in my cabin - not my room - for the night. Or I can kick you off my ship now and let fate decide the outcome." Smirking as she nodded her head towards the edge of her ship to emphasis what she was referencing.
"Be nice to have another drinking buddy. Last one I got couldn't handle half a bottle of my favorite sake. He was all about putting his hands all over me, and he.. learned to fly.. really quickly." Shrugging lightly. She'd set another switch, and typed in some coordinates before stepping away from the wheel. Circling around, she'd head downstairs into the inner cabin where a smaller control area would sit at the far back.
"So I have sake... Sake.. and... whiskey. What's your poison?"

Twisted Fate did not really need to give much thought to his options, "Well Cheri, Ah think Ah'd rather stay up here fer' the night." The gypsy replied before listening to her story about the last guest she had up here.
"Clearly he wasn't as smooth or as polite as mahself" Twisted Fate said, he was curious if he could withstand the power of that sake...surely he could. He was no slouch when it came to drinking, "Course before ya' often have ta' take a woman out ta' dinner before ya' even think ta' get that personal."
Twisted Fate followed Mai downstairs to the lower levels of the airship looking around as he did, "Well Ah'm much more of a whiskey man mahself, but Ah wonder if Ah could do better than yer' last guest with yer' favorite drink?" Twisted Fate was a little eager to prove himself, and perhaps this was the way to do it.
It'd take a fair bit for TF to 'prove' himself. Mai was no easy catch by any means. She'd plop the whiskey down on the table center of the living area. There'd be two pillows to sit on, and a short table matching that of traditional Ionian furniture. "I got four bottles of whiskey, and a dozen of sake. If you make it through those four, you can try the sake. Though - not sure what mixing them might do." Snickering a bit. It was like mixing hard alcohol and wine, since that was essentially what sake was. Except - not really like the traditional red or white wines.
She'd set two shot glasses down making sure the pair were the same size so not to be outdone by the cardmaster. "Wanna play a game?" Grinning.

"Well we drank a bit back there, so we'll see how Ah'm feelin' after the first two." Twisted Fate replied as he sat down on a rather comfy pillow and poured himself a shot, and gulped it down. "A game?" He asked as he set the glass back down on the rather low table...this would take some getting used to, "What kind of game are ya' thinkin'? Poker? Drinkin?" Call him a little intrigued by this game...what ever game could she want to play?
Mai's grin widened when he started to drink, "Maybe~ Truth or dare?" Smirking mischievously at him with her fingers drumming against the surface of the table. "Ever heard of it?"
If he hadn't, she'd be pretty surprised. That was a pretty popular game aboard her family's airship. And in Bilgewater when they'd land for a visit. People were always a little skittish of her family for some of the things they got people doing. Many involved a certain lack of clothing, and a certain big, stuck up city. Though Mai would refrain from including that little bit into things, thinking about past times only.

Twisted Fate near sprayed his drink upon hearing 'Truth or Dare'. He looked at Mai, after swallowing his drink, and asked, "Yer're serious? Ain't we a little bit over the age of seven?" ....Twisted Fate had the strangest feeling she was, but if one thought about it. This could be used to break the ice a bit more, rather than a simple game. After this little extra thought The Cardmaster reconsidered his first reservations.
"Ya' know what? Sure we'll play it, why not? It might be interestin' He said before gesturing to her, "So Ah propose ya' go first since it is ladies fer' first. Ah'm feelin' rather adventurous, so dare me."
"Mmm let's turn it into a drinking game." She offered, "For every question you refuse to answer, or are caught in a lie about, you take two shots of your preferred alcohol. For every dare you refuse to do, you take three shots of your alcohol."
She pulled this on a lot of people. And she got away with so much stuff by doing it. The Sky Pirate leaned forward with her elbow resting against her knee, her hand curling beneath her chin to support her head, "I understand-" Looking off to the side with mild boredom, "--if you're a bit too scared to try. Nobody has to know you chickened out to a girl."

"Cheri, yer' challengin' wrong man. N' that little bait of yers ain't gonna work." Twisted Fate said, "Unfortunately fer' me. Ah like games so, let's play one. See who gets more out of the other."
Twisted Fate had the feeling she was trying to con...the grand master of conning himself. That is a very very bad idea, and it seems like Twisted Fate is gonna have to take off the gloves, "Well cheri, Ah was gonna go easy on ya', but it seems like yer' askin' fer' mah best hand. So Ah hope yer' ready."
"Oh I get the first question." She grinned as he attempted to essentially shut her down before she even got started. This could get pretty interesting if things went the way she intended them to. Not many can pull a fast one of this particular gypsy, after all.
"I'll go easy to start. Truth. How old are you?" She questioned, drumming her fingers lightly against the table as she filled their glasses with their preferred poison.

Twisted Fate decided that lying on the first question would most likely be unwise and obvious, "Ah'm thrity-one, but Ah still got pep in mah step ta' say the least." He said as he considered his question, and poured himself a full glass, "Well Ah suppose it would only be fair, but...unpolite. As ya' never ask a woman her age." He paused and thought of a new question, and snapped his fingers when he came up with one.
"Uhh..." Mai looked contemplative, "Well she was one of the first models. Just got refined a lot over the years. Ended up having to rebuild her engines." Grinning, "..nice and cheap, too. The way I like it."
"Okay. I dare you to let me wear your hat." She said as she'd take a shot of her sake.
