Eli called over one of the serving girls, when she arrived he spoke to her discreetly, so the others wouldn't notice. "If Botulax has anything that's especially good at making people talk, add that to these guys' drinks." Then he spoke to her more loudly and held up a bag of coins, he had some to spare, and it was worth a shot anyway. "I liked watching these guys' race, get them some drinks on me."
"You might think you've won, but like a cornered animal, I don't give up!"

The server girl rolled her eyes, seeing how Eli was being really bad at fitting in. She decides to be a little helpful as she took the money, and speaks to him through her gas mask, distorting her voice. "Look buddy, you want to make friends with a gang, you do 'em favors, or you mess up their rivals, or pay for a drinkin' contest. Nobody spikes Botulax's drinks here in Botulax. It's a rule. ."
Far above the bar entrance, Taminah watched the people who were entering and leaving Botulax, still bored. She entered her nest to speak with her guest, but he was hiding under the bed. She felt she wasn't ready to talk to him yet. She observed a cloaked character trying to get in, his body language a bit off. She shrugged it off, and rolled over on the catwalk, yawning.
If Eli was bad at fitting in Rudmed must have stuck out like a sore thumb given how he was dressed. He would have to consider a different uniform or disguise in order to blend in here. Furthermore, he was slightly uncomfortable judging from the amount of sins he felt. Normally...he could not do this, but it was thick here. He could smell it in the air. From who these sins exuded from...he did not know, but he would have to ignore it for now. The inquisitor stuck out far too much to do anything violent or to purge Zaun of sin. He looked around searching for anyone who might have information, the waitress said they would have to pay for a drinking contest or do a gang a favor.
He merely shrugged at the waitress' statement, "One would think eliminating the Dark Wings would be enough." It was an off-hand comment that he did not expect a reply to. However, he soon discovered their third comrade was missing in action. Rudmed made his way back to the entrance to discover that Asimov was being held up by one of the bouncers,
"He's with me, I'll pay if he is unable to." Rudmed explained to the bouncer before his tone became meancing, "And I promise...he won't cause any trouble. Less he wants to get hurt for it again, after he is kicked out." He touched his saber and revolver while glaring at Asimov.......He was kidding right?

The bouncer quickly relented, if only because more important clients were arriving. Asimov was quickly herded into the club. The night was still young... what else would the trio try?
Meanwhile, the waitress Eli paid approached the biker circle with drinks, and they seemed to cheer... in a low, depressed groan but it was a cheer nonetheless.

Damn, he didn't really understand how he wasn't doing them a favor by attacking the Dark Wings. Still, he turned back to the group, perhaps giving them an offering would help. "Listen up, I know you hate the Dark Wings, I'm offering to do you guys a favor here. I'm going after them, in exchange for any information you have on them, I'll let you have anything I can get from them after I wipe them out. Do we have a deal? As for why I want to kill the Dark Wings, glory, and a challenge."

The bikers now laughed at Eli and his intentions. They weren't sure if he was being brave or stupid. A few of the drinks he bought were set down on the table.
"Get over here then, and don't talk so loud." They offered Eli a seat, and passed him a shot of each primary colored drink.
"So, you wanna hear about the Wings, huh? Bunch of egotistic pricks... " The raise their glasses, prompting Eli to drink.
Depending on which one Eli drank, The red one burned like swallowing fire, while the blue one felt like liquid nitrogen. The yellow one was painfully sweet and viscous, and clung to the throat like molasses. Each one was powerful and alcoholic and nature, and it took a strong stomach- and liver- to keep them down.

Eli sat with the bikers, when they offered him a drink, he regretfully took the yellow one. He grimaced when he took a sip, and didn't drain his glass. He didn't want to get drunk on the mission. "Yeah, like I said, I'm hoping to take them down a notch... Sorry if I don't drink much, don't want to fight anyone while drunk."

The biker circle was not very impressed with Eli, unable to down even one drink. Then again, neither could they- each glass was an invitation to suffering.
"Who's your friend there? Can he hold down a drink?" One of them asked. It seemed their mood was improving. A little more goading and they would likely speak.

"Hahahaha! These guys are nuts! I like them already!" The biker with the awful hair said, the group warming up to the concept of a small group as they wanting to take on the Wings.
"Suuure. We'll even be your friends if you manage to survive" They raise their glasses to Asimov, before looking at Rudmed.
Rudmed merely nodded to Asimov as a response before following him back to Eli, where it seems he was about to get the gangsters to speak. The inqusitor was just fine with standing close enough to listen, but when one of the bikers addressed him, calling him 'the one in the funny' hat.' If looks could kill the biker would have been dead ten times over from the glare Rudmed gave him, but nonetheless he sat the table and ordered a drink. He wouldn't drink it relying on the others' drunken stupor to not question it at all.
"I wouldn't worry about our survival." Rudmed said confidently as he raised his glass, "I assure you, the trouble they the city state will be over. If any survive they'll have something to really fear." He was of course talking about himself, he was not quite sure what his companions could do, but most likely the Dark Wings would at least fear him.

"We'll survive alright. We've faced worse than than thugs with wings." The "we've" was a bit of a lie, since he hadn't actually been through anything with the others yet. But he alone had surely gone through worse, Rudmed had probably as well. The scientist, maybe, but he probably wouldn't be doing too much fighting.
"You might think you've won, but like a cornered animal, I don't give up!"
It is very unwise to lie around an inquisitor, they can detect a lie from a mile away. Fortunately for Eli, Rudmed has not interest in punishing people who commit a rather small sin in the scope of life. He would however note that Eli did open his heart for sin....so what can one say about the crimes of his past? He might be wise to put his comrade under investigation...for now, until his innocence or crimes came to light.
While Rudmed did not call Eli out on his lie, he did however turn his head and glare at him from under his hat. Eli might notice he drew Rudmed's full attention, and would not lose it until Rudmed said, "So where do we begin?"
