Also, I've been thinking of a News Reel (such as the 'News' at the top) which I can use to convey random plots and threads that people are having. Such as Nocturne being released, or Cho'Gath on the loose or whatever else is going on. Though I'm not sure if people want to consider that 'canon', but I thought it'd be a nice idea.
That is a damn good idea. I'd be happy to maintain it. Both of those events are major forum cannon.

Oh, apologies. Well, let me call one of my best friends to determine how much one dollar is worth in Valoran - MATH.
We know that the item referred to as Cloth Armor is worth 300 gold (three-hundred). Cloth Armor happens to be a shirt sewn with cloth.
Shirts' pricing ranges widely in "The Real World" (from now on referred to as TRW) - going from a measly 10 (ten) dollars to 100 (one hundred). Since the item in question seems to be rather plain, it would be appropiate to consider it one of the cheapest. However, it is capable of enduring sword slashes and balls of magical fire without tearing, burning or even getting dirty. We will fixate its price at somewhere in between, say 50 (fifty) TRW dollars.
With a simple division of 300 / 50 (three hundred divided by fifty) we come to the conclussion that 1 (one) TRW dollar is worth 6 (six) gold coins.
