Just a thread for people who'd like to brainstorm and go into in-depth on their character's abilities and their possible applications. Some shurelia profiles may only have been generalized, and this might let you have a better chance to think of ways to use your powers that you didn't originally intend.
We can also to let others comment or make suggestions. This will assist in the process of balancing characters in general and set character's limitations, to make them more interesting and stand out.
for example, fire magic- does it automatically imply control of fire, creating fire and turning into fire? Does it automatically mean immunity to fire? does magical fire need oxygen to keep burning?
Spooks for example, has retrocognition/psychometry, essentially letting her watch a youtube video of a person, place or object's history. The farther she goes, the longer the video needs to buffer, and mana cost begins to skyrocket-so she can't cheat and go back to see the beginning of time.
There's also the potential to use powers inappropriately, like... clairvoyance :P

Just sorta bumping this and noting that as soon as I have more time I'll be posting here a little about Teo's magical power's. His musical magic seems to confuse people sometimes, but I've got a few pretty good ideas on how to explain them here.

Well....I would do something for good ol' Victus....but the guy is about as blunt as a sledgehammer. his fighting style is similar. He is going to hit you as hard as he can, when he can.

Not just mages. I can imagine a few martial arts tactics customized here. I might make a technique list here for KenSou (Including items she's currently learning)
Don't do this. Magic is not something you can learn on a whim. It takes years of study and dedication to master something as simple as a magic missile. Even the smallets of cantrips have to be thorougly studied and practiced over months. You can't jus simply go to a magic school, stay one week and learn a fireball.

You see this is an issue I have. As a champion I'm suppose to be powerful, but how much can I actually stretch? I had a shurelia profile to keep track with this stuff, but I may just post a few examples.
Personally I see TF's strong suit being his versatility, and this is promoted with a variety of decks and cards he has at his disposal. As well as skills like Pick-A-Card. I'm just gonna post what I'm thinking and let others comment.
Stacked Deck: I've actually made this useful imo...unlike it's sometimes useful counterpart in the game. If TF uses a different card other than his normal deck cards. For example a 5 of clubs. Rather than throw a card that explodes the card splits and the image on the card attacks. For example, if I were to mix a 6 of diamonds with stacked deck. Rather than have the card explode 6 large diamonds would propel themselves at the target.
Destiny: Oh boy this is a debated one. The first issue is does TF have actual foresight over all that is going to occur? Or just tiny bits and pieces. I have always been a few images, and to give a general idea of what may happen. Though part of me speculates if he wishes to foresee his own well-being Destiny often throws him a bone. Otherwise, he would have been caught so many times by guards, I understand he was a criminal before his powers..so how was he not caught? Gypsies often believe they can see the future, what if he had a little foresight before he got his magic powers?
As a general rule he can only teleport to places he has been to. So no I cannot pop in and rescue the damsel in distress from Swain's evil clutches, if you are in his dungeon. Why, because I haven't been caught.
Tarot Cards: This is part of the versatility, I was talking about earlier. These work often in a way that is described by what some traits of the tarot cards are. For example, The Devil card is often associated with acting on one's impulses, and sometimes with violence. If this card were to be enchanted then it would act like a charm spell in an RPG. In other words, whoever gets hit..is gonna act violently and most likely punch the closest person in the face. (Makes for a perfect distraction too.)
Now there is a Death tarot card, and no it does not cause instant death. That would be incredibly OP, though it would be fitting, to be more effective than the Grim reaper often means that the character is broken.
Mixing cards: I'm The Cardmaster, I figure it would be possible for me to throw more than two cards at a time. Furthermore, if I were to mix cards they would share one effect, but lose another. For example if I were to mix a red card plus The Devil tarot card, it would lose one or two effects. For example rather than slow and deal damage. The mixed card would act more along the lines of an AOE charm spell. That is anyone hit by the red card's splash will get the great urge to injure whoever is close to them.
Other decks: Now granted the traditional playing cards and tarot cards have seemed to make it over to Runterra just fine. However, chances are other cultures have created their own kinds of playing cards...because....well that is just what culture does. For example if I were to get a deck from the Shadow Isles, which most likely would have a grim and necromantic theme, it would work close to the tarot cards. Let us say a card is a banshee. So enchant the card and what do we get? A blood curdling scream that acts like an AOE silence since it drowns out everything else. A grim reaper? Maybe a flying scythe? IDK I'm just brainstorming here.
Loaded Dice: Sorry guys you aren't going to get two gold every kill this time around. Rather I say that anyone who crosses TF will end up feeling a little off, like a little misstep here and there. Nothing fatal, but just enough that an wild blow, rather than clip TF, would miss. Stuff like that.
Now I understand some of this stuff seems to be pushing it, but that is why i posted it here. For feedback, so....let's hear it.

@tf: Another thing, what cards DO Runeterrans use? I guess it's easy to assume the same 52 card decks as us, but think about it. What if the Ace of Shackles, Swords, or -I'm going to assume this- Eyes Are actually the suits on Runeterra? The only other cards I see on any of his skins are Tarot, or the ones in Jack of Hearts. Also, interesting fact I just read: Apparantly, since his graphics rework, TF has one of the darkest skins the humans in League has. From a pale complexion. Obviously, the fields are good for your skin.
I'd like to make only one more OC to use on this forum, and then that would be it. Specifically, I want to make thisguy if at all possible.
As you would see clearly from clicking either of those links, Carpus is an Ionian who has become the physical representation/retainer of Vice/Sin, which has warped him into a twisted beast that must feed off the vices/sins of others.
His abilities would all be tied to that in some way, or specifically to the Seven Deadly Sins themselves as well. The only issue I have is coming up with the most viable skillset. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'd really like to get him out as a fresh, new character!

I feel like Rose's abilities could use some work- what do you all think? I've tried to make them as clear as possible, but I'd like to seek feedback from you fine people. ^^
Rose's abilities are very...broad. You're a fighter, a rogue AND a a mage... a generalist? you're either a jack-of-all-trades, who beats everyone, or can't beat any specialist at what they do.
When making a character it's usually best to set a theme or identity and build towards that, rather than a generalist who does everything and thus comes off as... bland.

Viktor, as a Champion, with his kit, kinda seems to lean towards "master of none" IMHO. He seems to have the potential to fend of everyone, but depending on how he builds (his Augments/Upgrades hint at him intended to be able to fit various roles on a team).
