Teemo pauses, realizing he once again almost let something slip. Quickly, he chuckles again and raises open palms in a gesture that usually meant he had no secrets to hide.
"Oh, that doesn't really matter. Just know that there's someone who enjoys getting to see you on your off days, and they'll probably try their best to get you that break you want."

"Right... that is good to hear I guess."
Poppy ponders who could enjoy seeing her back home. She didn't really know anyone there, her whole childhood was spent almost completely within the walls of her father's smithy.
"Well... I guess I shall see you in Bandle City, if I manage to get any sort of time to visit home. I should probably return to work however for now."

Poppy merely nods at Teemo with her usual serious expression and sits down at her table.
"I'll be fine Teemo... do not worry about me. I could tell you to be careful, with the poisons and mushrooms you work with. My work may boring, but I will be just fine."

A few days later...[/i]
A young scout, fairly short, even for a yordle, scurries into the Embassy, holding a helmet on his head that seems at least two sizes too big. He finds the nearest free official and walks up to her.
"Excuse me, but I have a message for miss Poppy? It's from Scout Captain Teemo, courtesy of mayor Jadefellow. Is she free for a moment?"

The young scout nods happily and enters Poppy's office, saluting to her.
"Lieutenant Ceril, ma-am! Though... my fellow Scouts all call me Short-Stack..."
He chuckles, slowly lowering his salute.
"Captain Teemo sends word that the mayor feels things are peaceful enough in Valoran for you to come home for a couple days, if you wish. He says you've earned it, ma'am."

"I see... I'll finish what I am currently working on before making my way back to Bandle City then I guess. It is best not to leave what I am working on incomplete, it would be difficult to pick up from where I was."

The scout scratches his forehead for a minute, trying to remember if he'd forgotten anything. Then a thought comes to mind.
"Oh yeah, the mayor wanted to see you about something the minute you get to Bandle. He said it was important. And private. Also, the Captain wishes you his best. That's all that was in the message, ma-am."

Poppy nods at the scout and finishes what she was working for and placing it in the right file. After she is done, she walks out of the office and looks at the employees there. She goes to an official and says.
"The mayor granted me a short holiday away from work, so you all can take a break and relax, go tour the city or something."
The official smiles and goes to spread the word, causing a large amount of loud cheering while Poppy walks out of the Embassy's front door, and heads for Bandle City.

Life in the Embassy was quite calm and happy at the moment. The Ambassador had left for Bandle City to take a well earned break, and most of the employees at the Embassy were relaxing. There were barely anything for them to do in Poppy's absence, and they were relaxing in the lounge areas, talking, eating baked goods and generally having fun. All except for one...
Malie, the guard positioned on Poppy's front door was walking around the Embassy, keeping watch honorably. She admired Poppy a fair bit, and had taken to herself a fair few Demacian ideals like the Ambassador. Not as many, but she felt like someone should keep watch even if everyone else was relaxing.
Vroomfpt. Something like that, the sound of the exit portal just opening and closing as one steps through. Out behind the embassy, she stood. Annie Hastur, dark child, prodigy, pyromaniac. "Where to today, Tibbers?" She holds him up, smiling. "I think Poppy would like a visit." She says, holding him close. She walks around to the front, and knocks on the door three times, standing there with her hands behind her back, smiling.

The door opens in front of Annie, but the person opening it wasn't Poppy. But Malie, the only guard still on duty while the rest of the employees were relaxing. She smiles at the Dark Child.
"Oh, hello Annie. I suppose you are looking for Poppy? Sorry, but the Ambassador isn't in today. She got a rare break and is spending her free time in Bandle City currently."
