Considering there was still some room between herself and Titus, a good eight feet, Caerys looped the chain around his shield arm once, intent on entangling his limbs in heavy chains, making it take too much time to get himself free. She went over to a post in the wall where a large iron ring was nailed to, pulled on Titus once and looped the chain through and around the ring, securing it with the unusually designed weapon handle.
She picked up a barbed net and standard flail from the rack this time, and, gliding along the long flail chain, making her way towards him, swinging the net menacingly.
Titus reacted to his arm being chained to a post in a rather disgruntled manner. He yanked the chain only once before he got the idea it would take too long. Titus glared at Caerys, he moved forward so he had a little slack and let his arms fall to his sides. He glared death at the woman coming at him, although she would not be able to tell from under his helmet. She was slippery, exactly what he hated in people, the ones who never stopped moving, but never engaged in a head on fight. He stood motionless, waiting for her approach.
Thus far Caerys seemed rather indifferent to Titus. She shook her head in disapproval at how he simply stood still. With superior reach she swung her flail at him with a few attacks meant to distract him- but ignored they would still hit- before tossing the net over him. The barbed net likely wouldn't harm him through his armor, and she counted on him to ignore her attacks thus far. But the net served another devious purpose.
Even if he dodged, or Caerys entangled only a limb, The barbed net's handle had a switch that, when activated, caused the metallic net to suddenly begin constricting. Titus's mobility and ability to defend himself would likely be reduced to next to nothing, and Caerys could wail on him with impunity.
Titus was done trying to fight this woman fair, she was gonna be a coward and throw nets and chains around, he was going to throw stuff around just as much. In a matter of a second Titus' helmet was off and in his open hand, his armor stopped the blows from the flail easily, his enchantments holding firm.
As the net came to him he hurled his helmet into it, the force sending it falling back and wrapping around the helmet instead. He reached over with both hands and tore at the chain, the ring on the post ripped out, leaving cracks around the surrounding area. Titus was not angered easily, but holding him down got to him, his anger fueled his already massive muscles and he whipped the chain around at Caerys.
Caerys rolled out of the way of the chain, its movements familiar to her like a dance partner. Though others may wield such an exotic weapon, only a gladiatrix could make it dance. The chain touches her though, barely, the force causing a bruise on her arm and her to wince in pain. She did not anticipate that any human could be so strong as to break through forged steel chains and structural members, though.
Well, at least she forced him to lose his helmet- another move she wanted, make the man lose a piece of his armor. The net fell to the ground, coiled around the helm.
She decided to give him what he looked for, and began attacking head on. She launched the flail at his shield wailing against it repeatedly, trying to wrap about his arm and cause his defense to be lowered, so she could move in for her real attack- her sharpened nails swiping a shallow cut just above his brow.
On the Balcony...
Sylvia winced when she saw that the armored man destroyed a small part of her gladiator school. She sighed, understanding that these mercenaries would be capable in their own way. Still, for Caerys's sake pitches a sale to the Mercenaries.
"As you can see, while Vermilion lacks the... brutish might... of your companion, she fights with her wits and experience, adapting to her foes as needed. Truly, describe to her the foe she is to fight and the place where she fights, and by her training she will come up with a means to defeat it... And if not, she will adapt."
Titus had a great regret in his mind, he definitely shouldn't have pulled the chain out, as a result his shield arm's shoulder had been dislocated. He dropped the chain and lifted the shield with much pain, there was also possible torn muscles throughout his arm. The blows connecting with the shield hurt more and more after each blow. His shield arm actually went limp, unusable, a burning pain sliced across his brow and a slight trickle of blood came out. In response he swung his good arm to strike her in the gut.
The nail polish on Caerys's scalpel-hard nails served as an insidious blood thinner, making an already difficult to heal wound bleed more vigorously. It was superficial damage, not even that painful, but the blood that constantly poured from the above brow wound would blind, or at least greatly interfere with Titus's sight.
"You've spent an unnecessary amount of energy to fight me. Still think I'm not good enough?" Caerys asked, as she reeled from the swift punch. It was strong, but nothing she couldn't handle. She took a few steps back to let the stinging injury seep in and hamper Titus further. Large as he was, he was still vulnerable to the same things any human opponent was...

Krutis had to avert her eyes from the fight she was witnessing, something about it was disturbing her greatly. She seemed to be hit with fear from what she was seeing. Vergil however seemed more interested, now he wanted to see her adapt to something else.
Titus lifted his good arm up to wipe some blood out of his eye, ineffective as it simply smeared it even more. He looked down at the arm, the blood sliding across the armor's smooth surface. He glared back up at Caerys, he knew he was done, his shield arm was useless for now, his eyesight impaired, his helmet gone.
Titus looked back to Krutis, Vergil and the others, an almost sad look on his face. He wondered if he should continue, it was up to Vergil or Krutis, his silent gaze asked what to do. If told to he would keep on fighting, Titus was a loyal man and when he accepted someone as his superior he did not question their authority.

Sara crosses her arms and leans against a wall as the "test" is under way. Her hood covers up any expressions on her face, but a small smirk was under it. This would give her knowledge of how her 'partners' moved and would allow her to be more free in her movements.
She lazily takes one of her arrows from her quiver and spins it in her hand as she watches the fight.
"The bigger they are... the harder they will fall."

"I've seen enough of this one."He looked at Krutis who was now staring at the wall behind them not wanting to watch anymore. He turned to pat Eli on the back. "You're up my friend." He was now playing competitively with his men this was either going to be fun or may cripple the group for good. He turned around to whisper to Sylvia. "We may have to talk about medical expenses after this."
Titus nodded to Caerys before walking back over to his group, a pained expression shot across his face momentarily as his arm swung. He glared at it as if he hated it before taking his sword from Eli and sheathing it. He whispered in Eli's ear as he past, "Give her a good whack for me." He said almost spitefully. As much as Titus was a warrior, he was built to fight mages, slippery melee fighters not so much.
Titus went to stand near Krutis, a blank look now plastered on his face.

Eli had been unimpressed with the whole fight. Titus didn't have a true weapon, she had access to a fucking rack of them. He gave a slight nod to Titus as he returned the warrior's sword. As he descended from the balcony into the arena he spoke. "I want t' lay down one ground rule here: choose whatever weapons ya' want, but you have t' carry all of 'em on ya', just like ya' would have t' do in the field. It ain't much of a test if it ain' realistic. Sure, ya' beat him, but he refused t' use his sword, an' you had as many weapons as you could think of. You're no' gonna have tha' on the job." Once he reached the training area, he drew his sword. It seemed to pulse briefly with a red tint, though it would be hard to notice. Eli wore lighter armor than Titus, though it was still pretty protective, it also allowed for more mobility than what Titus had.

"You might think you've won, but like a cornered animal, I don't give up!"
"Yes, well, the school's healer should be able to fix up your armored man. Though he should be careful next time when breaking out of chain bonds... and damaging the school." Sylvia responded. She didn't expect multiple mercenaries wanted to test Vermilion, but she didn't object to it.
On the Training Ground...
Caerys saluted with her weapon at Titus for giving an effort, turning her attention to Eli as he came down. She rolled her eyes at the rules. A gladiator is taught that her battleground- her arena - was a weapon to be exploited as well. Regardless, she complied.
"Very well." She replied. By now the other Brides came out from the dungeon and went to move the rack away, Caerys taking a combat blade and sheathing it behind her, then an Impaler- the strange, two headed glaive with a small gap between heads- as her primary weapon.
"I suppose you are not their leader either? Do you at least know the opponents we'll be fighting?" She rubbed her hands with sand to get a better handle on the Impaler's leather grips, and entering a relaxed fighting stance. The Impaler gave her reach, and that she was still unarmored meant she had free movement.

"Bandits, I hear they're pretty organized. Now, enough talk." Eli began circling around Caerys, he knew she had the reach. If this wasn't just a test he would have just pulled out his pistols and shot her several times. He knew his hammer could give more reach, but it would be too slow. He made a few feints, testing her reaction. He could probably take a few hits, especially if he were able to get in close and utilize his magic. He raised his blade to slightly over his head and charged at her, though it seemed a fool's way to fight, it was actually an effective technique, he could either attack downwards at her once he came in range or quickly bring his blade down to parry an attack.
"You might think you've won, but like a cornered animal, I don't give up!"
