Zed moved stealthily along the rooftops and alley ways of Noxus, avoiding all contact and moving unseen. He was making his way to a Noxian display, he wanted to see the power he now had first hand. His destination was at the end of this street, a simple house where he would meet an officer who would escort him to the display. Zed felt something was amiss but he couldn't figure out what. He reached the end of the street and knocked on the door, awaiting an answer.

The door in front of Zed would open with a creek after the first knock. The entrance way was unnaturally dark within, pitch black without a sign of a single person in visible sight. Even the walls, ceiling and floor were swallowed up almost immediately by the darkness.
The room shifted as the darkness swirled about the Master of Shadows and a sensation similar to that of having miss-stepped and falling took over for the briefest of moments. The world shifted about him, only for Zed to find himself in front of another door. This one was of a solid Oak and somewhat decorated. A red carpet with a diamond pattern upon it leads to it, polished wooden floor boards beneath it. There was a lack of walls and even a ceiling, even the floor tapered off into the darkness.
Within the room itself sat an Ionian with a tea set ready and set out upon a table. A vacant seat sat adjacent from him, empty. The room was furnished with red carpeting beneath the table with some furniture here and there about the room. It was simple and had a small Noxian sense about it if only to remind Zed that he was maybe still somewhere within the city-state. The most notable thing in the room besides Daichi was a grandfather clock that ticked audibly and rhythmically.
Daichi himself had worn a simple set of robes that were similar to that of a summoners, however it deviated in that it was forest green in color and there was a design of a white Ionian dragon circling the robe, its head coming to a rest at the end of Daichi’s back.
“Ah. Good afternoon. I was expecting you and I am quite glad you were not tardy. I promise I won’t keep you long Zed, nor will you be late for whatever it is you had set out to do. Why don’t you have a seat, help yourself some tea? It’s an Ionian brew. There’s cream, milk and sugar too if that’s what you prefer.”

Zed did not at all feel uncomfortable as the darkness enveloped him, although his stomach did lurch slightly at the sudden feelings. Zed slowly pushed open the door now in front of him, his mind flickering around trying to grasp what had just happened.
Zed looked around the room with piercing eyes, glowing a deep blood red that would strike terror into simple men. His eyes settled on the man in front of him, and the eyes of his companions did the same, equally red eyes peered out from the darkness. Zed did not like being surprised, he was constantly alert and wary, sure enough the moment things had gone differently than he had expected, the shadows came to his aid. However now they only watched and waited for the master's order.
Zed moved forward and took the seat, however his gaze never faltered, drilling into the man in front of him. Zed made no gesture of greeting, he also went nowhere near the tea, not at all confident with it's contents.
"Just from the way you have spoken to me I can tell you are not the general I was seeking." Zed's voice echoed out from under his mask, a foreboding ring to it, "Do you wish to explain yourself?"

Daichi’s green eyes matched the piercing red before him without so much as a hint of demoralization. He moved to stir his tea and took it with his right hand and would take a sip from it.
“Quite. I am not the general nor do I hold any Noxian rank for that matter. And yet here you are because I will you to be.” Daichi answered as he sat his tea cup down and folded his hands upon the table in front of him. “I suppose you could argue that you could have easily turned around and gone another way and that I didn’t will you to be here but then we’d be rambling.” A slight laugh escaped his lips.
“It’s been quite some time since I last saw you in person. This is a much needed talk between you and I. You may call me…Hachi. Forgive me if you’re growing impatient, I suppose it’s just nerves. Did you have any other questions before I went further? Oh, and feel free to drink your tea. I promise you, I did not tamper with it. That would be in awfully ill taste.”

Zed glared at Hachi, his eyes narrowed as the man explained that he thought it was his will that forced Zed to be here. Zed didn't like this way of thinking and was tempted to prove that no man could keep him where he didn't want to be. A quick stab and a portal later and he could be gone, never for this man to find him again.
He wondered how the man knew him, league matches perhaps? Zed wasn't the most popular champion but he was still chosen occasionally. The tea in front of him remained untouched, he had no reason to trust this man or his promises. "Speak." Zed ordered with a strong tone of authority, he wanted to know why he was here and was growing impatient.

“Actually, I’ve change my mind. How about you call me Daichi instead? I believe a man has the right to be called whatever they wish to be called. But I know you know this well Masaru.” Daichi spoke with neutrality in his tone as he mulled over the thought. “We’re here in this room right now because you left something unfinished.” Daichi saw the reaction and suppressed a wicked grin that would have otherwise risen up.
“Good, I have your attention now. We both come from the same roots. And while everyone else in the world knows what you did that day, there’s only a handful that actually had gotten to see it. The coldness, the efficiency of how you had everyone killed. Maybe you were right when you massacred everyone. Maybe." Daichi repeated.

Zed's eyes narrowed at Daichi, the red glow intensifying as Zed's true name was spoken. He crossed his fingers and leaned forward in his chair, clearly intrigued.
"Kinkou..." Zed let the word trail, a slight growl to his voice, the aggravation was clear in his voice now, "You realize you have placed yourself in a terrible position young Daichi, Shen may have stopped my thorough extermination of the Order, but I am always willing to cut loose ends." Zed flicked an arm blade in and out of it's sheathe.
"However, I can tell you have left the Order, you carry none of their purpose with you anymore, else you would have struck me the second I walked into this room." His voice echoed through the room, "Your heart longs for revenge, I can tell, I know not what I did to you. Probably parents, relatives, maybe a brother or sister but that doesn't matter now. What matters is your next move, it could put that revenge to rest, it could put you to rest for eternity. It could do many things, but the question is. What outcome will it cause?" With that a slight chuckle escaped Zed, he reached up and swiftly undid his mask.
He brought the mask down with one hand, crimson eyes still focused on Daichi. A long scar ran from his right brow across his nose and a small bit down his left cheek. His hair was still trapped in the cap part of the mask but now he reached down and took the tea, bringing it up and taking a small sip, no sugar, milk or cream.

“You had everyone I had ever cared for murdered, and most of everyone I ever knew. Though I suppose things worked out for me in the end and they did for you as well. Funny how things work. However, we're both bound by our past.” Daichi shrugged and reached for his tea, grasping it in right hand again. “It would appear I have set myself up in a terrible position haven’t I?” He commented casually and without worry as he looked upon the blade that Zed drew. “Isn’t that silly of me?”
Next came something surprising, the removal of the mask and the drinking of the tea. Sure enough it wasn’t tampered with. It appeared Daichi was at least honest.
“You would be right. I haven’t been part of the order for a long time. And you’re also right in the other regard. I do fully intend on killing you. However, not now. It’s not so much a lack of courage as it is incredibly inconvenient to be meddling with such a grizzly affair at the moment. If I wanted to do it now there would be no formalities, there would be no tea. No discussion. Nothing more than a battle to the death.” A slight laugh escape his lips.
“We’ll come to blows and one of us will die. Just not now. I simply intended on making my intent known to you and possibly treating you to tea.”

Zed took another sip of his tea then leaned back in his seat, "Tell me Daichi, why do you tell me of your intentions? Would it not be more simple to kill me when I least expect it?"
Zed placed the tea cup lightly back on the table and again sat straight in his seat, staring at Daichi, "You would have made a strong shadow, a shame of our current...issue. You look as though you could put up quite the fight, I look forward to the challenge." Zed's blades again flicked about as he seemingly played with them, a bored look spread across his face.

“I tell you my intentions because I want you to know ahead of time. I want you to know it will be I who will take your life. I want you to realize that in your final moments some forgettable person you stepped upon on your way was the one who ended you. Not Shen. Not Akali. Not Kennen. But Daichi. This isn’t a matter of simplicity; this is a matter of making it more personal than it has to be.” Daichi commented matter of factly. Then came the comment about Daichi possibly being a strong Shadow.
“Maybe. But that’ is a “what if”. I don’t like those. Besides, I’m more content with my own craft. It’s not so much that I care about if your technique is forbidden or not. I just think mine is better.” He grinned widely.

Zed chuckled lightly at Daichi's words, so naive, so cocky, "Daichi, you will find that when threatening someone, it is best not to make a fool of yourself." Said Zed mockingly, "You state you are better, stronger, your technique overpowers my own, your cocky demeanor will be the end of you. When I told people of my power, they dismissed it and tossed me out, it was forbidden and the balance would now doubt stop me.That's what they thought, they said they were stronger and that their technique overpowered mine, yet now the Kinkou are falling apart as you know. I don't know what makes you think you can accomplish what an entire order could not."
A long sigh escaped Zed, "I almost think you should thank me, now you follow a supposedly stronger path, all thanks to yours truly."

“Overpowered Zed? No. I said better. There’s a difference, mostly opinion. I know what you can do because I saw it myself.” Daichi retorted as his gaze became slightly more intense as Zed’s tone became more mocking. “No. You were thrown out because you weren’t daddy’s favorite, because you went behind his back and did something he thought you shouldn’t have. Was your ambitious effort one last way to show him that maybe you were actually worth something? What did happen behind those closed doors?”
He sat his cup down, gaze ever present on Zed’s crimson eyes. “I’m not going to thank you Zed. You might have set up a chain of events, but I was just another Kinkou in the temple. Some young boy to either be converted or killed.”

"I am leaning towards the latter of the options now. You are wearing on my patience if you have come here for any other reason than to tell me you intend to kill me, speak it now. And then prepare for your death in due time." Zed growled, clearly unamused by Daichi's taunts.
The sound of metal being sharpened sounded through the room, shadow clones stepped out from the dark edges of the room. They stood looking at Daichi, blades unsheathed.

“You’re going to have to do better than fear and death to scare me, there are worse things than death.” Dachi spoke, not so much as paying any heed to the blades. Perhaps the young man truly had a death wish.
“If you’re looking for something else, it may help to know you were being trailed.” He shrugged. “I can’t say I know who but I suppose you knew this. I only came to give you your wakeup call Zed and to treat you to tea.” He smirked and picked up the cup and finished the rest of it off with a sip.
“However. Since you brought it up. Tell me about your order, if you’re still willing to humor me?”
