“All I need to know.” Daichi repeated with the roll of his eyes. “Very well Zed. Take your leave and have a pleasant day. I must say, this meeting went far better than expected. Maybe I’ll have to do another one of these, but with less angst and more pleasantries.” Daichi smiled and gestured to the door way. “…It should take you to your destination. Should.”

He stood and walked to the door, instead forming the runes to create a portal, "You can never trust anyone these days." He grumbled back at Daichi, if Daichi had nothing else to say, he would go through the portal, vanishing.

Trust. What did trust have to do with anything? Is intent was clear, there was nothing to doubt. There was nothing to lie about. The truth here was obvious, both men wanted to kill one another for their own selfish reasons. Daichi watched as the man before him stood and donned a mask. Masaru, he was not sure if he could call him a man. He would let Zed leave and when he had Daichi would stand from his seat.
