Teemo sighs silently, setting down his now-empty bowl and putting a hand on Rumble's shoulder. He lays down and slides up next to the mechanic, rubbing his side and shoulder to try and comfort him.
"Don't worry, pal... I know how you feel. It's hard for me too, not being able to go out and protect Bandle on official missions. But still... I do get to spend time with my... friends here at home."
He had to pause at the word friends because quite frankly he wasn't sure about how many folks around Bandle City actually considered him a real friend, or who he'd gotten to know on a deeper level.

Rumble turns towards Teemo and smiles at the scout. The mechanic was still feeling awful, but he was pleased to know that he would still have a friend on his side.
"Thanks, Teemo. At least all isn't bad... I've got a friend by my side here, heh."

Teemo smiles and chuckles back, pulling the mechanic into a quick but gentle hug.
"Heh, yep. No worries, 'Bull. I'll be here until you're feeling better, 'cause that's what friends are for, right? Besides... I can't really think of anything I'd rather be doing right now outside of mission work."

Rumble smiled and hugged back warmly. Rumble still wasn't very used to hugging another yordle, because the mechanic never really cared about social interaction, but during this specific moment, he was glad to have someone else with him.
"You could always go outside and check out some stores, Tee," Rumble chuckled. "I know I ain't gonna be getting out of this bed for a while today, so I'm sure you'll be pretty bored if you just stay here all day."

Teemo lays back and folds his arms over his chest, looking up and blinking a few times in thought. Eventually he shrugs and turns to Rumble again with a smile.
"I suppose I could go into town and pick anything up that you need, but other than that I just... feel like staying and keeping you company while you rest. After all, someone has to cook and clean up, or take care of you while you're stuck in bed. So what do ya say?"

Rumble stared at the ceiling for a while and thought whether he needed Teemo to go to a store right now. Did he need more groceries? No, Rumble just restocked up on food last week. What about mechanical parts? Nah, the junkyard had everything Rumble needed. Any medicine that Rumble needed? Probably not, he still had some medicine in his medicine cabinet.
"Hmm," Rumble ponders. "I don't really need anything right now... so I suppose you could stay while I stick here in bed, heh."

Teemo laughs briefly and turns onto his back again, looking up happily.
"Alright, then. If there's anything you need me to do for you, though, don't be afraid to ask. And for now we can just talk or maybe play a game of some kind."

Rumble puts both hands behind his head and continues to stare at the ceiling.
"A game, huh? Do ya know any games we could play? Or do ya just wanna chit chat about something? I could talk about whatever, since I'm gonna be stuck in bed all day."

Teemo scratches his chin for a moment before sighing.
"Well, I do know a game we could play, but it's up to you if you want to talk. The game's called 'The Word Game', and it's pretty simple. The other scouts and I play it sometimes when we get bored during long mission runs."

Teemo chuckles a little and nods, turning to Rumble.
"It's nothing special, really. Basically I say a word, and then you have to come up with a word that uses the last three or more letters of mine. Then I come up with one for your word, and so on. Oh, and you can't use a word that's already been said, and of course your word has to be at least three letters long."

Rumble lies back down again and pulls up the cover. The word game definitely sounded boring to him, but at least it would give him something to do instead of lying down all day.
"Okay, 'blemish.' Well, this ain't exactly the greatest game, but at least it's something, eh?"
