For a long while Teemo lay there, too weak to even move. He even lost consciousness for a moment, but soon weakly opened his eyes again. Lucky for him, his fingers and toes were still intact and starting to function again from the warmth. It took him a while, but eventually he was able to pull himself off of Rumble and into a sitting position. The scout's strength was returning with every movement, but he didn't want to overdo it. Within the next hour he'd managed to drag Rumble back into the bedroom using the jacket and lift him onto the bed.
Despite the warmth of the building, Teemo knew that wet clothing would prove to be unfavorable. As quickly and seriously as he could, the scout removed all of Rumble's clothing and, after a short journey into the mechanic's closet, slips a pair of sleeping shorts onto him. After bringing the wet clothing into the laundry room and changing out of his own, the scout slides under the covers as well and puts his back to the mechanic, feeling how cold Rumble still was. Even though he knew that his friend hated the close contact, he didn't want him getting sick, either. This would have to do for warming them both up, and hopefully Rumble wouldn't mind.

Rumble shivered in his sleep. Even with the warmth of the building, he was still very cold. His strength was completely deprived and the hypothermia was getting to him.
After a few hours in bed, Rumble groaned and slowly opened his eyes. As his consciousness came back to him, he noticed that he was in bed and that he was in his sleeping clothes.
Rumble shivered. Even though he was in bed, he still felt extremely cold. He needed more warmth. Actually, there was a heating machine somewhere in his workshop, but Rumble was far to cold and weak to get it himself. Rumble turned around and immediately noticed Teemo. He inched himself closer to the scout and wrapped his arms around Teemo. Rumble didn't care about close contact or that Teemo was naked. He needed more warmth, and so did the scout.
Rumble had to admit to himself, hugging Teemo actually felt nice. For the first time since the storm, he felt at ease and at peace. Rumble didn't get much chance to do any more thinking, though, for he fell asleep again after a few minutes.

The scout blinks his eyes open at the feeling of warm arms around him. When Rumble hugs him, his mind is a blur for a moment before he comes to realize that... maybe he wasn't hated after all. Maybe if was all right to do this, just this once. He backs into Rumble's embrace a little further before turning around and slipping his arms under the mechanic's, wrapping them lightly around his back for extra warmth. He too was adrift in sleep soon after, a pleasant smile forming weakly on his lips.

A few more hours has passed before Rumble woke up again. He felt better than he did last time, probably because of the extra warmth from Teemo's body. Rumble continued to hug Teemo for a little longer, then he got up and slipped out of bed. He could feel some of his strength returning, but he still felt tired and cold. The hypothermia certainly didn't go away, either.
Rumble walked into his workshop, where he brought out a heating machine he build some months ago. He hauled it back to his bedroom and put it on the table next to the bed, so that it would be closest to Teemo. He turned on the machine, and the bedroom immediately started to get warmer. Rumble slipped back into the bed and under the covers and huddled next to Teemo, though he didn't necessarily fall asleep.

Teemo stirs when Rumble leaves the bed, curling up in his sleep. He still felt fairly cold, especially when the covers were moved. His body shivers slightly until Rumble returns. When he does so, the scout's ears and nose twitch a little and he squints his eyes open. Upon noticing Rumble's return, he raises an arm partway to his friend, though hesitates for a while to bring it all the way up. Eventually he wraps both arms around his friend warmly and buries his nose into Rumble's chest, mostly to cover his burning eyes.

Rumble wraps his arms around Teemo and rests his chin on Teemo's shoulder. The mechanic didn't care that his actions were way out of his character, but he was just glad to be alive.
"Yeah... I thought I was a goner too."
Rumble blinked. That was all he had to say? So much has happened within the past day, including Teemo saving his live. The least Rumble could do was at least thank Teemo. Without the scout, Rumble would have certainly been dead by now... Rumble closed his eyes and buried his nose into Teemo's shoulder, a teardrop falling from his eye and onto Teemo's shoulder.

Teemo shifts his head to the mechanic's shoulder, holding a little tighter now. His eyes were burning, but he was too dehydrated to cry anymore.
"I couldn't just let you die... I know you were angry with me but I... I... I love you Rumble. There just isn't any other way I can think of to explain... how I've been feeling. Even if you don't feel the same, it doesn't change how much I want to make you happy. And... and you saved me, too... I owe you my life, Rumble."
His face was starting to heat up compared to his cold body, but not due to the room temperature. He buries his nose into Rumble's neck and breathes shakily, keeping his eyes closed in fear of facing yet another failure. Another loss.

Rumble blinked again. Teemo had just confessed his love to the mechanic. Well, how the heck was Rumble supposed to respond to that? It was true that Rumble didn't love Teemo back... and that he was angry with Teemo in the past. Still, Teemo saved his life when he needed it the most.
"Yeah, I was angry with you, but the snowstorm still worried me... I didn't know if you would actually be okay out there, so I had to find you, and the next thing that happened, I-I...."
Rumble had to take a few seconds to compose himself. "It's really frightening, being trapped like that... Normally, I'm not afraid to face death, especially in times of war, but there's something so terrifying, having your life whittled bit by bit by Mother Nature, and knowing that you can't do anything about it, a-and..."
Rumble let loose another tear. It wasn't like him to cry (actually, it was the opposite of his usual character to), and he was actually fairly embarrassed about it, but he couldn't stop it. Rumble kept his nose buried in Teemo's shoulder and hugged him tighter.
"I owe you my life. Thank you for being my savior..."

Rumble didn't respond. He was too busy in his own thoughts. In practically his entire life, Rumble could depend on himself for getting things done and solving problems. He wasn't used to depending on others to help him - actually, he kind of hated it. However, right now, he was completely depending on Teemo to protect him, and for some reason, it didn't give him a hateful feeling for it. It actually put him to peace a little, knowing that Teemo would always be there for him.
His emotions were coming back, but now Rumble realized that they might not be such a bad thing after all. Teemo saved his life, and it would simply be plain wrong for Rumble to continue to hold a grudge against the scout. That, the mechanic knew. However, Rumble wasn't completely welcoming of his emotions, either. He didn't know how to deal with his situation directly, so he decided to rely on advice that his parents told him during his childhood years: Let life take its course and see where it leads you.
For now, though, Rumble would have to focus on getting his and Teemo's body temperature back to normal. Fortunately, the heating machine Rumble built was working quite well, but it would be a while until Rumble and Teemo would be able to fully recover.

Teemo had been trained for holding positions for extended periods of time, but in his current state it was difficult to simply continue keeping his body the way it was. With slightly jerky movements he attempts to bring up his knees a little, but finds it quite difficult in their current position.
"Uh... Rumble... my legs are... getting a little cramped here. Do you mind if I...?"
Without necessarily finishing his question the scout attempts to roll the pair so that he is laying on top of the mechanic, legs spread around him in a more comfortable condition for the time being. Rumble would also be able to bring his knees up below Teemo's if he wanted to.

Rumble blinks and stares blankly at Teemo. Well, this is really weird, he thinks. Rumble didn't like the idea of a naked Teemo laying directly on top of him, but the mechanic wasn't in the mood to argue either.
"Tee, I know you saved my life and all, and I'm really, really grateful for that, but, uh... This is just getting really awkward..." Rumble glances to the side, trying to think of what to say next. "Uh, whatever floats your boat, I guess? Er, heh heh..." He plasters an uneasy smile on his face and lets out a loose, nervous chuckle.

Teemo blinks, a little confused at first. A sudden misguided twitch in his hips reminds him about his lack of shorts and he bristles, rolling his eyes away from Rumble.
"O-ooooh yeah. Um... one sec!"
The scout quickly slinks away and scurries off to the closet, getting a slight burst of adrenaline from his embarrassment. He rummages around for a bit before finding another pair of sleeping shorts and puts them on, finding them to fit well enough. Feeling more content, he returns to the bed and assumes the same position as previously, though this time with pants. He buries his nose into Rumble's shoulder for warmth and sighs.

Rumble blinks blankly again. It wasn't just Teemo being naked that made Rumble uncomfortable, it was having another yordle sleep on top of him in general that made him uneasy. However, Rumble decides to brush off the issue for now, seeing that a few hours in this position wouldn't hurt much.
"Eheh... Yeah, I guess this is better," he nervously chuckles.
