A package would be delivered to Jayce's laboratory addressed to the Defender of tomorrow. It was a moderately crafted decorative box (It's a good box!) containing a kitchen knife and and a hand-written advertisement-letter bearing the smith's mark of Taminah Ironfeld, blacksmith of Ironfeld Metalworks.
"Please come and try our products! Now accepting Commission works! Find the Dome at the Piltover market for more information."
When the knife would be tried out, one would immediately see its high quality- to the point it can easily cut through soft wooden chopping boards. If a blacksmith could make such a sharp knife, who knew what she could do with weapons...

It was a lovely and beautiful day at Piltover, the skies were showing off their azure dress, the sun was smiling and pouring down its light over the people, the wind was gentle and soft when it brushed the Fox's skin as it greeted her while she was wandering around the city's crowded streets. What do you say? She didn't know where she was heading to? Ohoho you're wrong! Ahri perfectly knew where she was heading! After all, don't be fooled by her, she's as smart and canine as any intelligent being.
After a couple of minutes of walking around the radiant city, Ahri reached her destination. A stair that would lead to an underground area was all that there was here. Nonetheless, the Vixen's feet carried her down as they descended the concrete stairs step by step. Toc toc toc toc; rang the sound of her thongs as the echo bounced between the walls of the tight hallway, disappearing in what seemed to be an endless tunnel.
Alas she has finally reached her true destination, the Laboratory of the Defender of Tomorrow. A bemused grin crept over her pink delicious lips as she scanned the area briefly with her amber eyes, looking for the Defender himself or for any sign of a human's presence. One minute ran off, two minutes, three minutes. Oh she was starting to lose her patience, and with that, she finally spoke with her charming and catchy voice.

Jayce was inside his private laboratory, tinkering with a few gadgets, mumbling to himself about chickens and darkness, for whatever reason he didn't know. It was dark inside, and the only light being from the electric lamp that sparked with blue energy.
Clang! A single dropped to the ground with an unexpectedly loud noise, and he bent over to pick it up... just as he heard the charming voice of... Ahri?
What is she doing here in Piltover? Hmm... at the very least I should ask what it is she wants.
He put the screw down on the table top, and left the room. In his pocket was a plastic remote with a single button on it. He poked the button with his finger, and the lights inside the hall lit up immediately, the white walls shining. Ahri was right there at the entrance, staring at him confused.

Minutes and minutes passed as Ahri sat there waiting for a response. Nothing, no one was answering... until suddenly... She heard that steel material colliding with the ground, letting out a loud echo in the lab as gravity brought the object down on the concrete floor. Ahri knew someone was here and her thoughts were confirmed when her ears perceived the sound of Jayce's steps that came in closer, and closer to her.
Bright flashes came from everywhere, white sparks illuminated her sight and blinded her eyes for a few seconds as Jayce lit up his laboratory. Ahri's hands came up and covered her delicate orbs as she protected them from the powerful reflexions of the light that struck them roughly. After a few seconds, her amber eyes lifted up their curtains as if they were the eyes of a new born child, and stared directly at Jayce. The Vixen smiled lovingly as her hands met up with one another, she has finally found the man of her interests.
"My oh my Jayce, you look really good today! Going out somewhere later with someone~? Ehehe."
A soft and playful giggle escaped the grasp of her lips as her eyes kept gazing at the man charmingly.
"I was looking to see what were you up to lately... I heard from certain people that you came up with interesting inventions."
Little did he know, Ahri was looking for something really specific that might help her in her endeavors, but who would expect something like that from Ahri? No one! And this was the perfect opportunity for her.

Jayce blinked. It really was Ahri who had came to visit him... but why at this time? He was confused. She was definitely one of those people who he wouldn't expect to visit him... at all. He walked forward, until he was right at the bottom of the steps, looking up to her, his hammer set to his side as he leaned on it. It was obvious that she wanted something from him, but he decided not to ask.
He was certain that someone like her wouldn't even be interested in him.
"Yes, ahem. I haven't been inventing anything noteworthy as of late, but thank you for the compliments. And may I say... you are looking quite fine as well. Anything that I can assist you with?" He said with a bright smile.

No inventions? At all? Well he surely must have some sort of instrument or machine that would help her! Ahri's amber eyes pierced through his as she gazed deeply into them, looking as innocent as possible to put his guards down when she would ask him any further questions.
The vixen moved closer, and closer, and even closer to Jayce, until her soft white hands were close enough to lay over his bust. Her beautiful eyes grasped the attention of his, trying to force his eyes to sink into hers as she stared at him seductively, sending in an aura of safeness and trust. This should work out for Ahri no doubt, and it was finally time to see if this man had what she sought for a while now.
"Well, people told me you had some interesting things in your labs such as, instruments with several utilities or even gadgets. Mind if you show them to me darling~? Just for me? You know you can trust me~"

So... beautiful... He was mesmerized by Ahri's charming gaze, and his hand slowly moved to his chest, but he stopped himself, and broke the line. Shaking his head, he stared back defiantly. It was so hard to resist, but he tried his best. He beckoned her to sit down on one of the couches, before speaking up.
"R-right. I have no inventions in my laboratory currently, since my old laboratory was destroyed, and I have not gone to recover any lost instruments or tools from the wreckage. Would you like to make a request? You can come in a sit down, have a cup of coffee, anything you like. Make yourself at home."
He fumbled around to find an old notepad, a pencil jammed in the upper clip, and started taking notes, looking at Ahri the whole time, not caring about any mistakes he may have made.

Ahri gently laid her back on the comfortable couch, drowning in the softness of the couch as she let out a soft sigh. She spread her arms across the couch and made herself comfortable before gazing back at the man with a flirty smile and a charming look from her amber crystallized eyes. Before she started to speak, her smile widened across her lips, showing her carnivorous canine that would show the predator side of the vixen.
"I was looking for something that would actually help me find... recently dead corpses..."

Corpses...? Wha...
Well, he was confused now. Some odd feeling inside of him compelled him to help, but his conscience told him it was better to stay out of this. Which should he follow? He had no choice, he was caught in Ahri's charming aura, manipulated, and to top it off, he enjoyed it. There was no way around this.
"Right.. corpses... I do not think I would be able to help you with that... may I suggest bloodhounds?"
Jayce grinned shyly. There really was no other way to detect corpses except for using the scent of blood. Or was there...? His mind was too dazed to think.

Soon the duo of aura-master Thomas and copycat mage Kevin would find themselves descending the stairs to Jayce's underground laboratory to find Ahri and take their leave of Piltover. Waving to her and giving Jayce a brief bow he addressed her
"Are you done here with Jayce? I think we're about ready to move on."

Ahri's cute ears twitched as she heard Thomas calling her... Ugh him again? Surely he was her bodyguard and responsible for her security and her well being, but at this point, she won't be able to reach her goals with someone following her constantly and tracking her movements. The fox winced and ignored Thomas' question. Her amber gaze were still drowning in Jayce's eyes as she stood up and walked towards him, moving her hips seductively as she reached the man who was completely mesmerized by her charm.
The fox lightly pushed him aside, a little further away from both men who joined them just to make sure they won't hear her whispers. Her soft, luscious pink lips pressed against Jayce's ears. Her charming voice cruised out of her delicious lips as she whispered to the man.
"I just need an instrument that can detect fresh blood, you can do that for me no? I'm sure you can use your smart head to make something like that~"
Ahri let out a soft giggle before her machiavellian words carried on. The vixen had to find a way to give him no choice but to execute her demand and, fortunately for her, she knew exactly how to do so..
"If you build it and give it to me, I'll offer you in return a veryyy pleasant gift~"

Jayce groaned. The "prize" that she mentioned, whatever it may be, sounded tempting, but either way, it would be out of place for a man such as him to ignore a woman's pleas. He sighed, and nodded, not a sound coming from him. He signalled for Ahri - and her friends - to take a seat. It would have take a while to complete this commission, after all.
He retreated back into his private office, some equipment already laid out from his tinkering. It may have been worth attempting to piece something so trivial out of metal scraps - his work wasn't know for being the tidiest, or the best.
Hrm... why am I doing this again...? Ugh... can't think... will just have to take one of the hextech sensors and configure it to detect blood...
He scanned the area. Perhaps there was a spare sensor that he had been working on? He remembered using one the other day...
There was one stuck at the top of a pile of hextech scrap, glinting in the faint light that lit his office. He reached up to grab it, but then the massive pile of metal went crashing onto him. His body was buried under the weight, and he felt his consciousness fade...
The sensor bounced down, and landed on his desk neatly, ringing.
((before anyone says anything, am not dead. Just... resting!))

Kevin had walked in with Thomas, but decided to stay quiet. He didn't think interrupting two champions of the league was such a great idea. His ears perked up when Ahri swayed her hips walking towards Jayce. Catching himself staring, he shook his head and looked away.
When Jayce offered them all a seat, he gladly took it, his legs already tired of standing. When seated, he started to play with the three new spells he copied. First, a shard of ice appeared in his hand which then lit on fire as a spark of electricty was surging on the inside of it. His fourth spell however, didn't really combine well with the others, so it would stay unknown for now. Quietly, he sat, awaiting for his travel companions to join him.

Thomas took his seat and waited paitently for Ahri to be finished talking with Jayce, feeling slightly irked that she simply ignored him he rested his eyes and went into his usual inner meditative stance. He wouldn't bother opening them until Ahri found time for him and Kevin since she decided Jayce was more important than them.
Somewhere in his mind he was once again preparing his own aura master ritual to no avail, he didn't have quite the connection he needed with this world to start it and reach his full potential. Sighing to himself he simply focused on the aura's he had come into contact with since he started this adventure with Ahri. Maybe if he kept this up he could have what he sought, but only time would tell.

Ahri took a seat on a nearby chair and rested her eyes while she waited for Jayce to finish up the gadget she has requested. The minutes walked away as all three of them waited for the Defender. Boredom struck the vixen as she felt like time was slowly crawling away, feeling like it's been an eternity they were sitting here.
Suddenly, a loud growl of steel and metal boomed out of the office, brutally shaking off Ahri from her rest. Her gaze shifted across the room and took a halt as it had the office's door in sight. She tilted her head and waited for any sign of Jayce, but he never came out or even spoke. Could this mean that something happened to him?! Ahri quickly stood back on her legs and rushed towards Jayce's private office, only to find the Defender lying down unconscious under a big pile of metal.
She couldn't lift this up by herself! She had to call the boys to help the poor man out of there! Her voice echoed out of the office as she called both Kevin and Thomas to come and help Jayce.
"Cat boy! Thomas! Come over here quick!!"
The vixen was terribly worried, the man didn't look like he was okay at all under the big pile of metal that was on top of him. Her amber eyes suddenly caught a glitter that sparked underneath the light of the room. Her curious gaze shifted once again and stared at the instrument that lied on the desk. It looked like it has been recently built... It was surely the sensor Ahri asked for! Her delicate feet carried her once more towards the desk where lied the object she needed. Her pale hands reached out and grabbed it, before dropping it in her kimono where no one would bother looking in. A soft giggle escaped the grasp of her luscious lips as she whispered to herself in a bemused tone.
"This is perfect... Everything is going to flow accordingly now that I have this in my possession."
