The group's lights revealed the intact frescoes, that showed a great warrior again, slaying the terrible denizens of the Frejlord. Trolls, wolves, drakes and other natives- all were put to the warrior's axe. In life, this warrior was indeed someone of great skill and deed.
The room echoed with each of their footsteps and voices, but there was nothing this time save for the large chest in the middle of the room Spooks said would be there.

Tekun knew they were coming on both sides, the enclosed space made this type of tactic ideal, however, Tekun would not be deterred. Tekun turned quickly and fired several rounds at the wolf whom attempted to bite down upon him. If the beast wasn’t dead it would be fleeing. The shots were loud, even louder in the enclosed space. He moved to protect Spooks exposed side and fired at his own attackers.
In a space such as this, the Immortal Soldier served as a shield. Eventually he ran out of bullets, the magazine only held so much and dropped the gun before reaching for his spare.

After scanning the room sufficiently and Garth's augmented eye not picking up any heat signature, he assumed that they did not worry about any creatures popping up at them. Instead he turned his eyes on the chest, and examined it.
No dangerous creatures or guards protecting this chest? Too suspicious for Garth's taste. "I'm going to assume that it the chest itself is booby-trapped. Anyone here have experience with disarming such traps? If not, I'll open it up and see what is inside." The aspiring detective approached the chest and began to examine it, looking for any secret panels or switches that might signal it is trapped. Granted, once he found it, he may not able to disarm it.
Zaun science is killing far more than its saving. I want to put a stop to that!
