Bandle City has always been considered to be happy, more so than most cities. This of course is due to the way of life of the Yordles, which is very carefree. Mira is an exception, even for yordles. She is a completely free spirit, going where the world takes her and finding fun on the way.
Today, on the 26th of February, 23 CLE, Mira is skipping through Bandle City, dressed in her usual multi-colored dress. A wide and innocent smile is on her face and her eyes show the excited look of someone half her age, which combined with her constant giggling makes her seem either insane or adorable to most.
What makes this different from her usual trips through town however, is a beautiful green crystal she is holding close to her chest. She stops at the fountain in the middle of the town and looks at the crystal, it starting to glow as it resonates with Mira's inner and highly unrefined talent for magic...
A small, insignificant yordle made his way through town. He didn't really want to be noticed, but the clothing he wore made it fairly difficult not to stand out. Unfortunately for him, the forests around town hadn't been quite as fruitful as previous years, and he was forced to come into town for the first time in years to purchase food. His biggest problem: He had no money.
The young bard slowly makes his way to the center of town, sitting down next to the fountain. He pulls off the pouch on his waistband and sets it down in front of him. After a few short breaths and nervous glances around, the maestro lifts his baton and slowly plays out a melody. The pouch in front of him, to others, would suddenly appear to be a small basket. He sways back and forth with his eyes closed, losing himself in the music.

Mira turns to look at where the music is suddenly come from, tilting her head and continuously giggling as usual. The crystal in her hands keeps glowing as she hops down from her seating and slowly walks over to the musician, not realizing why the crystal she is holding keeps glowing.
As she gets closer, the crystal's glow intensifies and suddenly the glow turns into a blinding flash. Mira's usual innocent look seems to vanish and turn into a wicked grin, her eyes showing a much more mature, perhaps even malicious gaze. The crystal's glow fades, still noticeable, but not seeming like anything to pay attention to.
Teo suddenly stops to cover his eyes when a bright light appears out of nowhere. Slowly he uncovers them again, turning to the girl that approached him. She seemed to be giving him an awkward smile...?
A slender cat would quietly make her way through the unusual place. Solid black, and adorned in a gold head dress, choker, a single bracelet on one of her front legs and a ring around her tail. The gold around her eyes and the markings on the front of her forehead would appear to be part of her, as if naturally gold to contrast the black of her fur. Iridescent green eyes would watch the two yordle at the fountain, prompting her to close the distance and approach them. She was no bigger than your average house cat.
The bard's eyes dart around, scanning through the crowd of other yordles for no particular reason. He spots a strange black cat at one point that appeared to be coming closer, but he's too nervous to make a note of it.
"U-um... okay. I... well... I p-play because I need money to buy f-food... there w-wasn't enough for everyone in the forest today."
Emui quietly made her way to Teo's feet, and mewed loudly to draw his attention before circling about his legs. Her small body would brush against him seeming to want pets, or food perhaps. The feline settled onto her hunches in front of Teo, and mewed loudly again with her long tail flicking a bit. What odd behavior these two creatures displayed. She wondered at what could be going on between them. Were they like humans? They spoke like humans. They wore clothing like humans. One even appeared to play an instrument. Perhaps the other was in heat?
The black cat looked up at Mira and mewed again, flattening one ear down awkwardly before flicking her paw up and rapidly starting to lick it as if something dirty had brushed it.

Teo blinks and looks down at whatever was brushing his legs. It wasn't often that he'd see a cat in his life, but one thing was sure. He loved little furry animals! In fact, often times he'd carry around something in his pouch to give to them to gnaw on or play with when they approached him. The little yordle gets down on his knees, losing a bit of his nerve as he searches through his bag. He pulls out a white-flowered plant stem, a Valorian, and holds it under the cat's muzzle with an open palm, smiling.
((The Valorian is just a play on words. :P The actual flower is called a Valerian, and it's basically like mild Catnip))
Oh what delicious sins this creature had given her! The feline sniffed a few times, then instantly pressed her nose and mouth against the flower. He could feel her teeth nibbling against his palm as she'd quickly try to chew it up. As Mira went to speak with her, she'd take the flower and quickly dart behind Teo's legs, using her paw to help guide the delicious treat into her mouth. Even going so far as to hold it with her claws to ensure it didn't escape her nomming.
Teo chuckles as the cat moves around him, turning around to see her. He gets on his hands and knees and patiently waits for the cat to get the plant in her mouth before slowly reaching out and gently petting behind her ear in short movements.
