Yi needed no reminder of how much Wukong loved his tricks. He suspected Wukong was one due to how long it took Wukong to attack. He jumped and flipped over the sweep attack, traveling in the direction it came from. Wukong's crushing blow would miss, depending upon positioning, it may even hit the clone. Yi turned to face the Monkey King with a smile on his face. "Come now, Wukong, I know you well enough not to fall for such a simple trick."
Wukong laughed joyfully at his Master, glad to see the old man was as sharp as he had always known him to be. "Just testing your skills, Master Yi!" He said happily. The staff would be positioned across his body as he took a step back, smiling eagerly for Yi to make his next move.

Yi chuckled, enjoying Wukong's antics. He quickly advanced on monkey, keeping his bokken in a position with which he could easily parry or strike. If Wukong didn't strike first, Yi would take a fast swing at Wukong's left side.
The wonderful thing about staffs are they keep people at a distance from the wielder. Something Wukong has learned to appreciate in his training with Master Yi, who was exceptionally skilled with swords. The monkey's smile never waned as the staff would come around to block the swing to his left, taking a step to the side to parry the motion and carry the opposite side forward in a snapping motion towards Yi's shoulder.

Master Yi had been expecting a parry, and counter strike, and already prepared one of his own. As his apprentice swung is staff to attempt to parry and counter, Yi lowered himself and extended his foot in an attempt to sweep Wukong's feet out from under him. His apprentice certainly has improved.

Aurus continued to watch the two fight. He tried his best to pick up the form of Wuju in their fight, but he was so far unsuccessful. His lack of knowledge of Wuju style left him unable to comprehend the moves of both.
He waited for the two to finish, he dare not interrupt them. All he knew was that he had to learn this style.
Wukong should have expected that but he was getting cocky against his Master. He'd chuckle as he watched Yi duck and dodge his attack, only to feel his legs suddenly swept up from beneath him. In retaliation, Wukong nimbly forced the staff behind him, letting it bend to the curve of his back before snapping him back up. He'd push his feet into the air, aiming to kick Yi beneath the chin hoping to send him staggering back away from the clever monkey.
The motion would flip Wukong backward, and send him back onto his feet with the staff brought forward in front of him again. An ever present grin only growing. He was really enjoying this!

As Wukong did his backwards flip, Yi managed to dodge the kick while giving his foot a good hit with the bokken. It wouldn't break it, but it would definitely hurt a lot. Hopefully this would slow the monkey down. He was difficult to hit. Yi's own smile grew as the spar continued, enjoying the fight and proud of his apprentice's progress.
Despite the hit, the stone monkey's response would only be amplified. He was having so much fun!
The fight continued for some time given the volume of stamina the both seemed to have. Despite Wu's youth compared to Yi's, Yi seemed to keep up just as easily with the playful monkey. Wu released his staff and let it spin wildly towards Yi, before another Wukong would appear behind Yi, flipping backward to his hands with his feet coming up and kicking strongly towards Yi's back hoping to send him staggering forward into the staff as it raced towards him.
The Wukong in front of Yi just chuckled as he swept his hand back across his wild hair. A third Wukong appeared to Yi's right side, then a fourth to his left, all moving to dive in on their Master in attempt to trap him and land a potential final blow to Yi's body.
Wu wouldn't admit it, but his foot sure did hurt. He was a stone monkey, but even stone can crack if hit with enough force. So, he'd let his monkey clones do the work for him.

Wukong's attack certainly was a bold one, but it would seem that Wukong had forgotten the most important element of Yi's fighting style: speed. A whistle could be heard as the blur that was Master Yi flew from clone to clone, giving each a light hit to the throat, easily felt, but harmless, before appearing in front of the now unarmed Wukong, the tip of his bokken pressed against the monkey's throat. Master Yi smiled, his apprentice had done quite well, there was still more to learn, but he had made much progress. "You fought well, but your speed is still lacking." He was joking of course, Yi had yet to find anyone who could move that quickly without utilizing the Alpha Strike technique. "Still, you continue to make remarkable progress."
Perhaps his Master had forgotten as well - As the staff missed, it raced back towards the back of Yi. Wu was ever aware of what the staff was doing as it swung it, and suddenly stopped only half an inch from the back of Yi's neck. A cheeky grin spread across his features.
He outstretched his arm around Yi, plucking the staff from where it hung in the air and drawing it back close to his form. A laugh escaped quickly afterwards as he took a step back, and bowed with his fist in palm, showing respect towards his Master.
"You're getting slow, Master!" He joked. It was likely a tie if not for the fact Yi would have killed Wu before his staff could have reached him. Still, it was close, and that was always fun!

Aurus was still trying to replay what he had just witnessed. Wukong had cloned himself 4 times, attacking from all side. And in an instant, Master Yi had struck every single one, including the original.
He stood up, facing the older man. "Please train me in the art of Wuju, Master Yi." he asked, his voice desperate. With this art, he could make Noxus pay for what they did. He would not give that up.
He would show Yi and his student that he could be as good as them, if they let him.

Master Yi noticed that Aurus seemed to make no attempt to hide his desperation, and as such, was already becoming wary of training him. He placed the tip of the bokken on the floor, resting his hands on the hilt, looking into the man's eyes. "I may, but first I wish to know who you are, and why it is you wish to be trained."

"My name is Aurus...or Kitai if you prefer. I was born in Navori, 8 years before the Occupation. I fled and was raised in the Temple of Many Ways by the monks. They trained me as well."
Aurus began to hesitate under Yi's intense gaze.
"I returned after the occupation was lifted to find most of the village dead. I...I didn't see any purpose for myself. That is why I took up this blade."
He unsheathed his sword, it's form shifting like water as he drew it. It reformed into a mirror of Yi's blade, identical in appearance.
"Whoever the sword chooses to wield it is given great power. The knowledge of all who held it before, the ability to be almost any weapon. Please teach me Wuju so any of the next holders may learn it too."
And his tale almost ended there, but Yi's gaze made him continue. It would be pointless to try to lie to him.
"...I also want revenge. I want to make Noxus pay for what they did to us. To me."
