Tahlem smiled and accepted the bottle and chalice. " Well i suppose i can spare a bit of extra coin for this.." He pulled out another handful of coins and placed them on the bar counter as a tip. He popped the cord and filled the chalice, bringing the cup to his lips for a drink. He then turned his attention to the other two patrons. Who might these two be...
" Who might you two be? General Tahlem of the Demacian military at your service. Uh, you two Mercenary's for hire?"
"Victus Brightblade, House Brightblade's Oathsworn. It is a pleasure, General Tahlem. I am currently awaiting orders from the Exemplar. Then, I think I will march to Freljord and provide aid for the battle against the Void, so I am not on the market. When I know the land of my ancestors and my House are safe, I will go back to mercenary work.
Vergil, if you put the pup on a garrison he will find drink easily enough. Put him in the wilds and he will be drunk less."

"We'll, if your son is interested in mercenary work, I would certainly take him. My manor is unpleasantly unguarded as of now, so having a few more men to fill in before I get permanent guards would be nice."
Gillam gestured to Gregor. "I'll have what Victus is having."

Tahlem took another drink from the goblet and nodded to Victus. The Barbarian, Jarvan had alerted him about as a potential.... resource.
" Jarvan had spoken of you. You want to fight the void? Heh. Wish we could delicate the troops to vanquish them from the Freljord. But...with a now looming threat from Noxus the King did not want to throw all our resources at the void." He took another sip. " A good idea or not we will see." He refilled his glass with more wine as soon as it ran dry.
" What is your opinion on the recent happenings in the world, Brightblade?"

"Noxus is playing a dangerous game. The Demacians are trying to counter it, but we all have bigger fish to fry than each other. The Void will devour my homeland and then attack Demacia. We should unite with Freljord and put the Void threat down, and gain their trust to defend against Noxus. I only trust Freljord and Demacia, but neither city can stand on its own for long if Noxus attacks after the Void."
Victus downs another flagon.
"The world appears to be going to hell, and I am not in the place to fight for it. Barkeep, mead."

Gillam sipped his drink, somewhat listening to the conversation between Victus and the general, but he turned his full attention to the old man. "It sounds like a deal. Have you boy come by my estate tonight, and I will fill out all the paperwork necessary."

Tahlem nodded to Victus, it was true they needed to kill the void. But the threat of Noxus while the army is away..is to great. " Not to say we have not sent support. Shyvana and a detachment of 50 troops were sent to the Winter Claw village. Though..we have not heard back from them in awhile." He sighed. " The threat of what Noxus would do if the army was away is too great..they would certainly take Demacia if our forces were gone fighting some otherworldly force. We would feel a lot safer with Piltover and Brandle on our side but..." He shrugs, watching Vicrus ordering another drink.
Tahlem pulls out coin and places it on the table. " I will pay for his drink, barkeep. A mead for me while your at it please."

Gregor goes for the coin, but Victus slams his hand down on it and slides it back to the General. He slides his own coin over to Gregor.
"I pay for my own drinks before my next mission. I do not need to acquire more debts and favors to distract myself during battle."
Gregor shrugs, pours two flagons of mead, and places them before the two, taking the general's coin for the general's drink.
"I don't care who was sent north, Freljord is my homeland. I should be defending it. What am I doing instead? Escorting a noblewoman to Bandle City. I don't understand it, and yet I am to obey. May the nine hells take the Void and long winters to Noxus."
Victus chugs down the entire flagon of mead and slams it onto the bar.

hello new skin yes. gonna work out some kinks but let me know what you guys think. it's not all that flashy but i didn't really like the tabs so the side bar is back. oh and the cbox has also made it's appearance. -rurin.
