Darius turned to Vlad, and offered a wry smile - extending his hand toward the count as if to shake it. "Well fought hemomancer..." a dark grin was planted on Darius' face, as though the exhilaration of this fight were almost rejuvinating.

Vladimir didn't trust his current opponent to honor the hand shake that he had offered, but he knew that as long as he remained in his temple he was practically immortal. "So you see the power of blood now hmm?" He slowly approached Darius and extended his hand out to shake his, awaiting some sort of attack.
Darius began with a firm shake, and a smile that may have been genuine but which was bereft of sincerity. His grip became like a vice, and he hurled himself toward the ground with his alternate hand on his axe, throwing his weight against it to pry it from the wall as he heaved the count from his feet with the shaking hand, and swung him hard into the wall.
Chunks of stone sprayed from the fresh depression in the wall, yet as though time had slowed to allow the feat - Vladimir bounced from the wall and hung in the air for a moment. Above him, some four feet in the air - hovered the massive form of Darius, with his cleaver held above his head. When the next few seconds rushed like time were running to catch up - Darius fell to the ground axe first, and left a gash in the floor where his axe was now imbedded, half of Vladimir's cloven body on either side.

Vladimir was surprised that Darius actually shook his hand, that is until the bones in his hand started getting smashed together. He was about to pull away when he was flung into the wall, bouncing off of it. He tried to think of a some sort of counter attack when all his thoughts suddenly came to an end. His body, or what was left of it, felt backwards into a pile of mess. His body once again dissolved into a pool of blood, but it took longer this time, and even longer for him to regenerate back into his human form. He started breathing a little heavily. He noticed the blood continued to flow from Darius' lower body. He became frustrated with his fellow Noxian's durability. "WHY WON'T YOU GIVE UP!?" Darius' blood would begin to flow into Vladimir as he yelled at him.
Darius bellowed a guffaw as he strode toward the door "Never retreat..." he turned, locking eyes with the manifesting form of Vladimir as blood flowed from the various cuts in his torso and legs. "I think we both know where this is going..." he looked at the door, a great torrent of blood spilled across it as though to keep Darius locked in. "Open it..." he commanded.

Vladimir angrily waved his hand at the door, the blood protecting it would seep back into the walls and the double doors would open. "Never return, I won't be serving Noxus until the Grand General himself calls of me." With those few words he would turn, closing his eyes, the temple would slowly start to fix itself.
Darius heaved his axe to his shoulder, cheating back to Vladimir before he left "nor would Noxus have you... to escape death is an interesting feat." His eyes narrowed "though it is somewhat wasted on one who can not kill," he chortled derisively as he left, pausing only for a moment to heave the head of his axe between the doors which splintered as they tried to slam shut behind him. "Too predictable..." he thought to himself, though it was a most interesting phenomenon that he had to forcibly remove his axe from the doors, as they had begun to repair themselves around it.

~Days Later~
Vladimir had left for Noxus not less than a week earlier and had only just now returned. His bladed claws coated with the blood of strangers who met him on his way home. Vladimir opened his double doors then immediately shut them, his mind was in pieces after his visit with Kura ended so poorly. He wasn't sure what he was anymore. Was he the killing monstrosity that he lead on to be when he joined the league, or was he just another man who could find love in the strangest of ways? All this went through his head as the memory of Dmitri's voice yelled at him. "You're a killer Vladimir. You live to kill. You live to show off the power of Hemomancy Vladimir!" The voice drove him insane as it continued playing through his head the entire night. He only escaped its grasp when he fell into unconsciousness. His unpleasant dreams were ended when he awoke to silent knocks on his door. Vladimir would quickly ready himself for whoever may be at his door.
Carmilla had trecked two days to find Vladimir's temple, she was soaked with rain.. as it had been raining on her way here, but she did not care. The young girl was too determined to grasp this power.. especially after she had traveled so far.. killed so much. Only death would halt her advance.
Even as death may await her at these doors, she saw no other purpose in her life.. Carmilla was void of all reason.. she wanted to do this, she wanted to kill. For what? Who knew, even she didn't entirely know. The poor girls mind was destroyed long ago. Carmilla blinked as she stared at the big brass knockers of the Blood Lord's temple. With a mildly shaking hand, she gripped the handle and pulled it back, letting fall hard against the wood door, a ringing sprung out through the air when she did.
Carmilla then waited, anxiousness slowly creeping into her body as she began fidget with her soaked dress, the jar of blood was cradled in her arms.. she sat it down beside her and tittered on her feet a little, hands behind her back as she waited the Blood Lords presence.

Vladimir slowly opened the door to the girl as his face looked down to her. He had forgotten he had invited her to his temple for a second evaluation. Vladimir wasn't in the mood to deal with this girl, so he thought he might as well just cut her down with out a reply. As he was about to raise his hand however, the voice of his master spoke to him again. "No Vladimir!". Vladimir froze at the door hearing Dmitri's voice. "Do not make the same mistakes i made Vladimir. Train this girl in the ways of Hemomancy, do not let our craft die out." Vladimir looked at the girl, questioning his master. "You must allow her to live Vladimir, you're the last of our kind. Train her while you're still young." He remembered the training he endured when he had visited the temple, and then he remembered the final ritual. "The ritual only killed me because i was old Vladimir, you're young and strong, you can live through it." He considered his master's words before speaking to the girl, a solid minute of silence passed since he opened the door. "Why is it you wish to become a Hemomancer girl? Do you think you can withstand the physical and mental strain the training will put unto you?"
Carmilla sat in the same silence as Vladimir raised his hand, she didn't see the purpose of kneeling.. she might as well die standing. But Vlad never followed through.. he sat there, with his hand raised for a while. Carmilla tilted her head to the side slightly, wondering what he was waiting for, the empty pits of her red eyes blinked in mild confusion. She simply stood and watched, Vlad looked as if he was thinking to himself
After a long moment, he finally spoke, and she and sat there for a moment.. rolling the question over in her mind "Well.." Carmilla paused for a moment "I am fascinated with blood.. it's smell.. it's feeling.." Carmilla reached down and unscrewed the jar and dipped her and in the scarlet liquid, pulling it out and staring at her now bloody hand, closing her eyes for a moment as if savoring the touch
"It's.. amazing" Carmilla then opened her eyes and stared at the man before her "And.. this is all I have, without this, there is no purpose for my life." Carmilla then paused once more as she focused on on his other question, letting her bloody hand drop to her side. "I am willing to do anything, and if the training proves too much and takes my life, then so be it." Carmilla then did something that was uncharacteristic for the broken child.. she smiled, but it was not the smile of innocence, it was extremely eerie..

Vladimir looked at the girl, his crimson eyes locked on hers. He would relentlessly harass her with questions. "Are you prepared to kill those who have done nothing wrong, to bathe in the blood of the dead, to consume the essence of all life that opposes you?"
He took a short breathe before kneeling to reach her eye level. "Are you prepared to kill your master when the time comes for the final ritual? To put all your training to the test with your life in the balance. This is your final chance to turn back and never return, this is your final opportunity to live on without the threat of death constantly looming over you." He awaited the girl's answer, his eyes beaming into hers. He quoted his master now before leaving the girl to think of his questions. "Have you no fear, girl?"
Carmilla nodded, she had already killed those who did her no wrong, in fact, she had killed those who only sought to love and care for her, yet she ended their lives with no one remorse. Carmilla sat there, rolling.. no, not rolling, she knew the answer's to them before the Blood Lord had even asked her. "I have no fear" she said, nodding her head as if to further her point.

Vladimir simply smiled as he arose from his kneeling, stepping aside to let the girl into his temple. "You will be living here now. A room will be prepared for you." He looked behind her to see her few belongings before he walked into the temple assuming she would follow. "This shall forever be your home as well as your final resting place." He pointed in various directions as he explained the setup of the temple. Vladimir stopped as he walked into the cooking area. "You will be making the both of us meals from this day forth, if you are unknown to the ways of cooking, then I will teach you until you can prepare meals on your own." He smiled at the idea of the little girl serving him for the rest of his existence. "I am your lord and master, and you will address me as such. Lord Vladimir will be fine. Training in the ways of Hemomancy starts on the marrow. Today I will give you time to settle in and get yourself acquainted with your new living arrangements."
Carmilla's smiled seemed to grow wider as he accepted her, she picked up her jar and hefted her sack over her shoulder, following him inside. Carmilla followed him throughout the temple, taking note of where the places war. She did know how to cook, being an wandered, she would go out and kill squirrels and such and cooked them. Now.. squirrel is different from actual food, but even when she was living with her parent's she cooked most of her own things.
Carmilla then stopped as the tour finished, looking up at her knew master, the out of place smile still on her face as she gave a slow nod of her head "Thank you, master." She said before she began to walk into her new room to free herself of her soaked clothing.
