Peeking out from under Shyvana's bed, the Prince looked at Shyvana sheepishly. "She's gone, right? Last time she came around I couldn't shake her off me." He stood, dusting the dirt off his armor and smiled at her. Unlike most people, he could be himself around Shyvana. She was indebted to him and well, not entirely aware of all the regality and intrigues that accompanied someone of high birth. "Thanks for not mauling her." he muttered, collecting his lance and standing by the door.
"I'm off to the training grounds. Need to find Lux and Garen." He mused. It had been entirely too long since he'd seen either of the Crowngaurds. With all the chaos evolving around them, he wanted to make sure his Father would be well protected in his absence. "Oh, is there anything you need Shyvana?" he added as an afterthought.

... Unless I require something to fulfill my liege's wishes, then no. I do not.
Shyvana dutifully bowed, her face entirely devoid of emotion.
As usual.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a large amount of paperwork to do; Demacian diplomats are blind to the fact that sometimes, innocents must be sacrificed in pursuit of the guilty.
She picks up one of the heavy files, managing to resist the urge to burn it.
I have no time for this.
I have no time to explain myself to men and women who live under the shield of safety my actions provide and then question the manner in which I provide it.
the death of those innocents, ensured the continued survival of the people of Demacia; it was a necessary evil. That's what I do.
Necessary evil.
Shyvana continues to read and sign the paperwork; all of it berates her actions, calling her "an insult to the demacian military", but not a single one offering any sort of repercussion.
They may not want to admit it; but sometimes they really do need a beast to unleash.
Skarner cautiously approached the Half-Dragon. He was relieved to be free of the inquisitive and conservative stares of the Demacian public. It was as if they considered him an intruder. Skarner wondered if some felt the same about Shyvana, despite all her services.
He was dubious about Shyvana. The Brackern and Dragonkind were both marvelous spectacles of nature, but Shyvana and Skarner were very different. He knew of her ruthlessness and arrogance, and was not sure whether or not she would treat him with respect. He gave her the benefit of the doubt and bowed. He waited for her to regard him, so as not to disturb her work.
