Down Poppy's hair goes and Titus' is agape as it reaches to the ankles. He takes a step back and looks at Poppy again, this time she looks...a lot different. With the pig tails gone, it's almost hard to recognize her as if Titus is dating a complete stranger. He rubs his eyes and then looks at her to see if she's still Poppy.
She's still the same Iron Ambassador...just with freakish long hair.

"I very rarely joke. Well... I suppose now I will not be recognized at least. Less worry about rumors going around huh?"
Poppy takes a look around slowly before turning back to Titus. She then starts slowly walking again towards the town square as she finishes her ice cream.
The two arrive at the town square. At this time in night, there's only a scant amount of people left in the town square. The fountain serves as the centerpiece of the place. One yordle sits on the rim of the fountain, reading a romantic novel about a girl torn between a vampire yordle and a warewolf yordle. There are small pockets of people scattered around the town square.
The moon shines down upon the place and several lamp posts is lit up dimly. The atmosphere seems quiet and relaxing.
"Well here we are."
Titus escorts Poppy to the nearest bench and sits down. He points to the night sky and asks Poppy.
"You know when you're a child and you wished upon a star?"

Poppy follows wordlessly, her steeled expression hiding how odd it feels for her to have her hair like this. When they sit down, she leans back against the bench and looks up.
"When I was a child, father and I looked up to the night sky."
Titus slouches as he immerses himself in childhood memories.
"That star I wished upon was named Tenureva. And every night, I prayed that my future would always be bright. It's...uhh...right there...umm...besides the moon. It's really close."
He points to a certain location in the night sky where Tenureva was. If Poppy looks up where Titus is pointing at, she will only see blackness. If she compares the distance between the moon and the stars in the night sky, it's nowhere near to the moon.

Poppy looks up at the stars, pondering about the mental health of Titus for a moment. There was nothing where he claimed the star to be... perhaps he saw it through his memories?
"I see... I didn't think that much about the stars when I was young... or even later. Never had the time to appreciate them."

"I see... everyone and everything comes to an end one time or another, no matter how impressive or far away. Even stars it seems..."
Poppy continues looking up, sitting on the bench in an official pose, obviously used to it from the years of political work.
"Many things come to an untimely end however... which should not happen. That is why I work for peace... to bring harmony to all of Valoran. And I do what is necessary to do so, as my League work proves."
She then shakes her head and looks back down at the town square silently for a moment.
"Remember... you have one question I will answer truthfully. Make it count."
He straightens up and turns to Poppy, contemplating on what question to ask her. Maybe he could ask her about her early life, about Blomgrun, maybe he could ask what she thought of him. Or maybe she could ask her to help him in naval plans or something like that. There are many ways to ask her and there are many questions he would like to ask Poppy.
But it is that one opportunity he can never use again. If he uses it, Titus would waste it...and if he thought of another question to ask her, he no longer has the chance to ask again. Plus, this chance felt to Titus as some once in a lifetime.
"I...I won't ask any then. I'd rather save it, Poppy...for that special time."

"Special time? Ha. You never know when one's life might end. It would be better to simply ask now. That "Special time" might never come after all."
Poppy leans back in a relaxed fashion and joins her arms around behind her head like a pillow, looking fairly relaxed. An unusual sight to beheld from the steeled warrior and politician.

"What if you never use it, and turn out regretting it? There are two sides to every coin."
Poppy turns her gaze to the stars again, looking thoughtful. Her hair covers most of her face now and the rest is down all the way to the ground, lying there motionlessly.
"Besides. If you act correctly, perhaps you'll get another chance at another time."
"Heh...I guess your right...opportunity comes once..."
Titus looks at Poppy, with a different look at her than the rest of the yordles would perceive Poppy. She isn't as boring as Titus thought. Generally, no yordle here in Valoran would know what Titus discovered about Poppy this night.
The date, as Titus thought out so far, turns out to be better than expected. He certainly enjoyed it. And if opportunity calls, he ask her out again.
"So...here's my question then..." Titus slowly starts out. He then inclines himself to the bench, relaxing himself.
"Well first of all before my real question comes up, what do you think of this night so far? Are you enjoying everything so far?"

"Considering this is the first time that I am on a... date... it's been quite interesting. Unusual to say the least... and I suppose quite nice as well. It is rare for me to get off work and just... not think about it."
Poppy keeps her gaze up at the stars, pondering through a few different things at the same time. Work would need her to return the next day if possible. Travel would take a fair bit of time... but that was probably understandable. Who knows what could happen...
