Veigar facepalms with the stupid concept that the witch has... It wasn't a great idea because his face had fresh wounds... "Dammit that hurts!"
"'Magical library'?... The LIBRARIES aren't "MAGICAL", the BOOKS that are ON THE LIBRARY ARE THE "MAGICAL THING"... in fact, the magic comes from the WRITER, not the BOOK or the LIBRARY... SO, LULU YOU SHOULD SEARCH THE BOOKS NOT THE LIBRARY...
Then, Veigar notices that Syndra said that she doesn't own a Library
"... WAIT, Syndra you don't have books? Even if you have MEMORIZED THE BOOKS YOU SHOULD KEEP THEM, Because even if the WORDS may not change, Your POINT of VIEW may change. There are plenty of books that are not magical, but are amusing ... However, my favorite book is the "Morello's Evil Tome"... no idea who is Morello, but the book itself is amazingly evil.
At Least Veigar agrees with Lulu in one thing: All the mages need a library with books, a pointed hat and a staff or book... (unless you are a magical being of arcane energy)
Syndra rolls her eyes. "I do have a few tomes which Singed gave to me- but my power needs no instruction to develop." As though to prove her point, she looks out the window, and raises her castle hundreds of feet higher into the air- the trees below them shrink away, before she brings them slowly nearer the ground. "At any rate... I don't have the time to read. Haven't you any idea how busy I am with other things?"
A long sigh comes from the Sovereign before she shrugs. "If you're interested in the books I've been given, they're in the room next to mine- there aren't any really useful ones for me, but perhaps they'll do you or Lulu some good." Her patronizing tone is clear, and it's only enhanced by the superior smirk she gives.

Veigar didn't seemed impressed with the magic of Syndra, he has seen many wizards, and they all are destroyed when you use their power against them.
"Singed, the mad chemist? i guess that i would help me... my knowledge about chemicals is limited and i would need that for analyze the blood of the Voidling"
He looks up at Syndra and says "So, can you show me were are those books?"

Veigar's casual attitude in the face of her power doesn't please Syndra at all- but she shrugs. "I don't see why not- I have no use for them, after all." In the back of her mind, she wonders how the Chemist might feel about her giving away his gift- but it's not her concern, now.
Still a bit miffed at how unimpressed the Yordle seemed, the Sovereign leads him along the halls, straight-backed with her annoyance. Energy crackles around her as she floats along, but soon, they arrive. Piles of dead bouquets litter the floor, as do several jewelry boxes, filled near to bursting with gifts from her admirers- and all of them are layered in dust, a clear gesture of her self-importance.
Front and center of it all are the tomes that Singed and his men delivered- they're less dusty than the other gifts, but that must be because they were given more recently. Fine, small fingerprints mar the light veil, but they'd be hard to notice among the swirls and patterns on the leatherworked covers.

Veigar followed the dark sovereign, the yordle knew that Syndra was a "bit" annoyed due his attitude, he also get angry when the people doesnt takes his power seriously.
He looked at the pile of gifts, was certainly impressing the ammount of admirers of the Mage... Veigar supposed that it was because Syndra is a female human. "What a foolish summoners" he thought for himself. Then he saw the books of Singed, it wasnt a "Magical library" as Lulu says, but were books with information after all.
"Well, those are a lot of tomes..."
Looking at Syndra, Veigar asked.
"So, Why did Singed gave you the books?"
((I was waiting for the reply of Lulu... whatever))

((Don't worry about it; she'll come back, I imagine.))
She shrugs, her expression uncaring. "It was meant as a sign of good will," Syndra answers, mocking the Chemist's tone. "Unless I'm very much mistaken, he wants to see me on the side of Noxus and Zaun."
Casually, she lifts some of the jewelry with an orb, shaking the dust from it and holding it before her eyes, admiring it with a half-smile. One of the necklaces within is ceramic and string, and it's clearly from a small child; the note attached is scrawled in crayon.
The smile disappearing, Syndra tosses it across the room without warning, letting it clatter against the wall as the childish letter falls to the floor.

Lulu peeks her head inside as the necklace hit the wall
heeeeey! what DID THAT poor necklace EVER DO to YOU??
Lulu waddles up to Veigar happily
aaaanywaaaay, WE should PROBABLY leave poor SYNDRA alone. I found WHAT I WANT and im preeeetty SURE she doesnt LIKE guests, DO you?
You find us funny, do you not? A source of amusement. Is that not so? With our pretty clothes, and our convoluted circumlocutions and our little silliness of manner and behavior. And perhaps we are funny... But you must never imagine, that just because something is funny,it is not dangerous.

Veigar chuckles a bit with the mocking of Syndra, then he takes a step away from the witch. Without looking back, he replies to the sorceress. "Since when YOU care about the PRIVACY of OTHERS?"
Then he walks towards the pile of books. "... So, Syndra, can i borrow you some books during a few months?"
Post by defyinggravity on Jul 18, 2013 20:53:14 GMT -5
"By all means," answers the Sovereign, waving her hand and lifting the books to Veigar without a second thought. Feeling little restraint, Syndra lets them thud rather heavily as she drops them in front of him, then heads to the entryway of the room, gesturing as though to lead them out.
"I will have them returned, at some point," she adds before they leave. It's not as though she cares about the books themselves, but if the Yordle were to keep them, there would be some issues.

With a slight move of his staff, the evil yordle opened a wormhole that absorbs the books. His bird is not able to carry that quantity of books, and the wormholes are a easier method of transport.
"Now i am LEAVING, i will return you the books after read them all"
