Karthus floated up and away, heeding the words of the Ruined King. His zombies would all abandon their assault and retreat into the city's sewers, where they would lay in wait for the next wave of attack. "Be ready for your deaths, Demacians. I have no guarantees that they will be swift." In a ghastly flash of dark magic, the Deathsinger blinked out of Demacia.
Xin Zhao stopped killing as soon as he noticed the undead were retreating. He was confused, but then his attention was caught once again by the blood-curdling scream coming from nearby. It was horrendously loud, Xin knew he would have to see this for himself. He rushed over to the source of the noise, only to find the Iron Ambassador standing in front of a Lantern, surrounded by large chunks of metal.
"... Poppy? What happened here?"
Xin looked down and tried to think of what the Lantern might be, it could have been the remains of one of the invaders, but he couldn't be too sure. He reached down to grab the lantern, hoping to look at it closer...

Poppy looked surprised when Thresh lowered his guard and allowed himself to be destroyed. Either the Warden wanted rest at last.... or there was something else going on. But as the shriek came along, Poppy shakes her head and places one of her hands on her head as if feeling a headache.
She looks over to Xin Zhao as he appears on the scene, shaking her head as he tries to reach the lantern.
"Seneschal, do not touch that. It is what remains of Thresh, the Chain Warden. It is filled with the corruption of the Shadow Isles.
My strike seems to have destroyed Thresh... but the way he let it through seems suspicious to me. This might not have been the last we saw of him."
Xin Zhao eyed the lantern suspiciously. When he touched it, the lantern was cold, barely any sign that the Chain Warden was here. It wasn't right to leave it here, anyway. He tried pulling it up, but it wouldn't budge at all. Alongside the lantern was a scythe blade, the same one that Thresh uses. Xin Zhao was no able to pull it out as well. Perhaps he should ask the council to check on this.
"Hmm... the lantern itself seems safe for now, no sign of the Warden to have ever even touched the lantern. We can't just leave it here in the city, however. We need to find a place to contain this. The problem is... I can't lift it."

With the undead receding, Lucas could now more safely cross into the city centre. However, he'd still engage on sight, with increased fervor actually, and any abomination that got caught would be missing an arm and his head. When he finally reached there, he noticed Xin Zhao and Poppy standing around a Lantern. "I have an Idea about it, but what's with this lantern, Ambassador, Senechal?
I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.
"Ah, this lantern is supposedly the remains of the Chain Warden. We're trying to figure out what to do with it, but we can't seem to lift it or move it."
Xin Zhao demonstrated pulling it up, but as usual, it did not work.

Honest, Senechal. Why not let the specialist do this. Honestly, where IS the Night Hunter? And well, if that fails, The League has read Thresh' mind. We can always call THEM here.
I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.

((Wrap it up. I want this other thread up))
I am the one who defied death. I am the one he fears. I am the on he can not take. One sweep of my hand and your nations will fall. Come for me you worms. You will all bow before my legions or be broken beneath us as we march upon your cities.

((Honestly, I was going to try and be brief, but now I'm just going to say it. We will take as long as we damn well please. It's our city))
I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.
"Hmph, I don't think it would do much, really. We've tried a lot but it seems practically immovable. Perhaps we can leave this as a memorial of the battle? Not like anyone wants to remember it..."
Xin Zhao shrugged, and started walking back to House Lightshield. The Ruined King's warning was stuck in his mind, and he knew that we would have to prepare for this in the near future.

The torrent of wind would have little effect on Belle given she stood beneath the arch of one of the cataclysm walls produced by Jarvan. It'd fly overhead and crawl up the slope before dropping into the arena where Jarvan and Shyvana stood. Whether it might hit them or not was unknown, but it was clear that Tahlem's attempt would be terribly hindered by the rock walls that surrounded them.
Had they not been there, the threat to Belle's life would not be quite so severe.
A wicked laughter rolled from her lips as the green flames burned from her eyes. The wind doing little more than throwing her hair about, and forcing her hand to rise more steadily pushing the arrow deeper into the underside of her chin.
Again, the arena would prevent any easy access to Belle as she was surrounded by it with only Shyvana and Jarvan within view. The arch that kept her from climbing out would unintentionally be the one thing that saved her from Victus. Enough of an indication would be given at the sound of the feet climbing rapidly against its walls. The jade stone again glowing fiercely, before sending a burst of intense energy outward to knock people back and away from her. It was the only thing that had kept people off of her until this point.
"I have warned you idiots." The distorted voice came again, "And you continue to push. This girl means nothing, clearly. A worthless hostage.. Soon to be an empty co--"
Belle's eyes shot open when the distant howl of agony reached her ears. The sound of Thresh's untimely death raising goosebumps across her form and setting her hair on end. As the green ignited into a blazing red, the tip of the arrow would be ripped from beneath her chin and sent slashing across her arms deeply. A psychotic scream leaving Belle's lips as she suddenly rushed towards Jarvan. It seemed she had totally lost her mind. There was no sense of strategy, or plot, only the berserk essence of whatever possessed Belle and it was using her body to carry out its blind rage.
Whoever might get in her path would be the first that the arrow would be lunged for, aiming to pierce their chests violently.
((Next round of posts should wrap this part up. I was sleeping and didn't see the whole new page worth of posts :x))
Yukiko would return to Xin after finding some civilians a safe place to go. As she landed, the dragon looked down at Poppy then turned to Xin bowing her head slightly, "It appears the undead are retreating." The white Ionian dragon spoke.
"I have need to speak with you, Xin Zhao. When matters here are resolved."

I'm not really sure if I would think that wise. Anyway, Have you seen General Tahlem?I'm sure there's something even a Pathfinder like me could help with.
I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.
Shyvana couldn't help but smirk a little inwardly as the sound of Thresh's demise met her ears, however, the rage of the possessed woman before her quickly drew her attention back to her. With a snarl, Shyvana reached out to the woman with her of her massive claws, not to kill her, but to attempt to force her to the floor, pinned under the dragons massive claw.
