The girl nervously stammered out her reply. She was obviously intimated by him. Not only was he the most famous pirate in Valoran, but he was one of the first champions in the League as well.
He greeted the old sailor as he went about his morning fishing business. He was one of the few here enjoying the trip.
He returned to his conversation with the women. He walked to the spot next to her that she had made."Yar, ta' sea life ain't for everyone. Ye' Demacian's be more suited for the land. Only us from ta' Blue Flame Isles have ta' sea in our blood."
He watched the Plague Jungles pass by from a distance.
"Ye' must be happy ta' be going back home again Miss...? he asked, hoping for an answer and a name
She blinked. Who... Ah. She reminisced back to the old man introducing himself. She cursed to herself, trying the best she could to maintain the same meek expression and posture; turning to the newcomer and curtsying before him as well. Her rhythm was broken with his appearance. Her window... She glanced back towards Gangplank through a sliver between her blonde hair- Azure eyes glinting in the morning light. He had moved away as she had planned, but her machinations were ruined. All ruined by that blasted old man... Her teeth ran along her lower lip; a silent growl emanating from her throat. It was too quiet to hear, but was a moment's respite for the woman.
Katarina straightened up ever so slightly. Bloody Scrod... Kill him... Tear him limb from limb... It would be obvious. She would draw it out. She would make sure he knew pain for his insolence. If one would ruin her plans as such then at least clean up after their own disgusting mess. Look at him. Just calmly heading over and fishing... leaving her vulnerable... forcing her to entertain the Captain. Hah... She breathed; attempting to calm her nerves. Her rage elicited a light flush from the assassin. Her eyes followed the pirate- her eyes widening as he got closer. The best simulation of a deer in headlights look she could pull off. The light greeting offered was not nearly enough time to move. It was too late. She forced a smile, one that somewhat fit the situation considering her status.
She allowed her heartbeat to run rampant. The adrenaline pumped through her. Controlling it would be strange if anything. She nodded slowly, averting her gaze from Gangplank. She caught herself, turning towards him instead as she beamed the best she could- mixing excitement into her shaky voice.
"I've been gone so long! Noxus was so scary! We were all split up and..."
She paused. That should be enough. Ah. A name. She paused, returning to her previous shy persona. That should be sufficient for now.
"I... I'm. My name... My name is Karin-"
How could something so simple have slipped her mind? She had failed to come up with a backstory. Blast that Swain, she'd never done an infiltration like this before. Considering how well recognized she was this approach was never an option. It was only ever covert operations. There had to be a cover. Ah-
"You're Captain Gangplank! Of Bilgewater! I... our countries... you're famous!"

Gangplank wasn't the smartest pirate. He knew little of science or math or technology, but what he did know was people. In his years as a pirate, he learned that being able to read people was a very important skill. Being able to know if someone was friendly or hostile
Scrod's appearance seemed to throw the girl off. For a split second her personal changed. Meek eyes became violent. A gentle smile became a bitter frown. But a second later she was back to the docile young maiden from Demacia. She stumbled out her name, very voice shaky.
Gangplank grew suspicious of this women. It seems that there was more to her than meets the eye. Suddenly Swain's request started to make a little more sense. He would play along with this "maid", keeping his pirate persona up. He would see if this women really was a maid.
"YAR! Captain Gangplank I be! Ta' Saltwater Scourge, Pirate King of Bilgewater and the best pirate to roam Valoran!" he yelled, playing to the part of the loud, dumb pirate many were used too. Most thought of him as a blow hard, but he hid his cunning and it would always surprise his foes.
"Sounds like ye' be a fan of mine. Did you watch me matches in ta' field while servin'? Your master must'ah been a nice man ta' do that."
He hadn't changed his demenanor, but he was now wary of this women.

Scrod sat there as GP and the maid conversed, half listening since he was pretty much right next to them fishing. He let his mind wander as he sat patiently smoking his pipe, waiting for something to bite. He took out his flask and shook it a bit. Almost empty...he sighed and made a mental note at the next stop they made to get a few good cases of whiskey if he could.
A few minutes later Scrod had almost dozed off again when his line went taught and he was almost thrown from his seat from the unexpected tug on the line. A large sailfish easily eight feet long leapt up from the sea on the end of Scrod's line. After standing up Scrod was reeling in his line with practiced efficiency - reel it in, pull, give a little slack, reel it in, pull, give a little slack and so on. It thrashed and flailed in an attempt to free itself making Scrod's fishing rod bend to a point where it would look like it would snap but it was all in vain. Scrod patiently wore the goliath of a fish out until it stopped fighting all together and he then reeled it all the way in and slammed what was easily a 200+ pound fish onto the deck as if it were a suitcase packed for light travel.
"Heh she's a beauty aint she? Gave a pretty good fight too, but it aint right to name a fish ya' plan to eat." he said to nobody in particular as he laughed aloud.
"Gangplank! Ya' done got anywhere I can gut n' scale this sucker on yer' ship? Reckon' I just reeled in breakfast lunch n' dinner fer' myself n' anyone who wants some till we hit port again." he said drinking the last of the whiskey in his flask and grinning stupidly, proud of his work.
The blonde smiled, vaguely aware of her mistake. She had tried to cover it up by metaphorically caring to jolly up his roger; but she got the sinking feeling it may not have been as successful as she had planned. Damn that Scrod. He had ruined everything. Perhaps if her cover had already been blown the best course of action was to make the most of her situation and kill that who she hated. What to do after? Perhaps jump overboard? See how many she could take with her? Not overboard, of course, although she was somewhat sure that at least one of the lifeless corpses would fall into the sea.
The other man was talking. That was good. At least he bought her some time for this horrible mess he made. Think. Was this salvageable? Even the most disadvantageous was something she could work with. How to phrase this... Her lashes fluttered as her expression changed slowly from mirth and surprise to playful suspicion, raising an eyebrow as the pirate ranted on about his title. She shifted her weight from foot to foot as the man talked. Did she go too far with compliments? He seemed perfectly capable of keeping his roger… in perfect condition. The temptation to knock him down a peg was almost too strong. Speaking of…
“I… I’m not a fan!”
She blurted out, catching herself only after the words had come out; allowing a moment of terror to overtake her face as her faux persona realized how offensive that may have sounded.
“I mean, I’m not…”
She stammered, swallowing with a bit of uncertainty as she mimicked to the best of her ability a bashful teenager. She changed the topic in an intentionally unceremonious way; crossing one arm underneath her bust, the other raised- finger waggling.
“Be… Besides! We aren’t allowed to view matches beyond the little glimpses we catch while servicing our liege. Our knowledge of the comings and goings are limited to the small talk between servants and guards.”
She relaxed her other hand, letting it fall back down to her side while she took a step forward- poking the burly pirate in the chest. The height difference was made incredibly noticeable as she stared up to barely see the man’s face. Her expression slowly shifted to something more aggressive, step two, of sorts in her attempt to cover for her little mistake.
“Especially not matches from some place like… like that! We Demacians would never support anyone that threw their lot in with Noxus of all places!”
Her irritation grew, her face mimicking to the best of her ability her previous murderous expression.
“And /my/ Master is a /very/ nice man, don’t you question!”
The blonde paused. Was that good enough? Theatrics were never really her thing. Close enough, really. Did she have a backup plan? Hah. Of course she did. Kill everyone on board. Well, that solves that! She forced a blush the best she could; returning to her wide eyed expression when she met the pirate earlier. As if she just now realized how uncomfortably close she had gotten to the man; immediately taking a step back.
“I… I’m sorry… I didn’t…”
She averted her gaze, taking another step back.
“I didn’t mean… I’m sorry… I haven’t been sleeping well… and… and…”
She trailed off, letting the potentially awkward silence advance upon them. Does the demonic bird eat? If it did, she reminded herself to slip poison into its food upon her return.

"Yar har! Ye' be a feisty maid, only actin' timid. A mouth like that would get ye' inta' lots of trouble.
She was either a very good actor or completely innocent. She certainly wasn't afraid to get up in his face. which gave evidence to the former. Swain's request started to make more sense to him. This did seem like a good way to sneak someone in Demacia, a women hidden in a group of maids. Not that he really cared. He had no love for Demacia and if this has the general's plan, best go along with it.
"If ye' need better sleeping quarters, I can arrange something better for ye'. I suspect with some better sleep, ye' can keep out of trouble better and we won't have any problems. Savvy?" he told her, half acting and half hinting.
"Scord, take that beauty of a sea critter to the gallery, have Squab cook her up."
The blonde pouted. She didn't particularly have a counter argument, and she wasn't sure whether her ruse had been successful. The fact that Gangplank hadn't made a move meant either that it had... or he simply didn't care. Swain had arranged for this after all. She was also relatively sure that Bilgewater scum had little love for Demacians. Many were driven by greed, but the fact remained that they weren't stupid. Bilgewater culture would not survive under Demacian rule.
She did not allow her expression to change quite yet. She hadn't decided on what to do. That was okay, kind of. Such an offer would stun anyone. That clever bastard. Pushing her into a corner like this. She had lost this duel of wits, to a pirate no less. The circumstances were very clearly in his favour, yet didn't make it any less irritating. His offer was tempting... suspiciously so. She pushed everything aside. No matter. She returned her hands to her sides, grasping the ends of her skirt as she curtsied before him once again; her hair cascading past her shoulders and shielding her vision.
It was fair, she supposed. He offered her an out. A somewhat peaceful resolution to their little exchange. She declined to answer, treating it like a joking offer- taking advantage of her tone. She turned, looking towards Scrod. Her mood had been shot, but it had improved to an okay state. Perhaps she would be able to resist the urge to murder the old man after all. She forced a smile, glancing towards her 'escort'.

While Nautilus sometimes was on the ship on the trip,Nautilus was now walking on the ocean, his anchor showing up his location to the ship.
After a few moments,he rose up from the water and got up to the ship,he looked around the crew for a moment, before nodding to Gangplank and Scrod,it seems gangplank was talking to a blonde woman, possibly one of the people they were transporting, the titan of the depths looked at her for a moment before turning to his back, looking at the ocean.

"Alrighty then, I'll be below deck for a moment if yer' needin' me for anything important. Reckon' I'll gut n' scale it myself, Squab can have it after I get that part squared away so it's ready for cookin'." he replied.
Scrod waved at the maid when she smiled at him after hauling the behemoth of a fish over his shoulder. He then went off below deck to find Squab to have him cook it up before he would return top side in a few moments.

Gangplank laughed to himself as the "maid" curtsied to him and left the deck. He unpeeled an orange as he watched the shoreline pass by.
So Swain had plans for Demacia? He wasn't surprised. Demacia would be one of his biggest obstacles in gaining power in Valoran. But if these rumours of invasion were true, he might not need to worry then.
The man had plans for all of Valoran. And he was glad that he was on his side.

Nautilus' anchor began to shake. It was perched to the side of the boat as a sort of tether, to keep himself from wandering off, and he was pulling himself back up. He climbed over the side, tossing a rather massive fish onto the boat with him.
